OMG OMG OMG what a book…...It has been just over a year since I have read Ruthless the first book in the Vincent trilogy and I do recall saying….It looks like there is a new author in town! Now i can happily say Kerry is without a doubt up there with the likes of Kimberly Chambers, Dreda Mitchell and Jessie Keane.

With a Vincent dead and the police have no idea who the killer is. The notorious Ruthers, a villainous family caught up in drugs and prostitution are the only link to the murder.

We follow one very powerful story that took me through a whirlwind of emotions. Kerry effortlessly pulls at your heartstrings and eats at your emotions and made me cry yet again! Lol Not only that she takes us through some very dark and uncomfortable scenes where you can feel the emotion through her excellent writing skills and at the same time keeping me on tenterhooks. The tension build up is unbelieveable.

I actually started this telling myself i will just read a couple of pages. But that didn't happen. This will grab you round the throat and not let you go until the very last page. Seriously I couldn't put it down I read this in two sittings just having five hours sleep in between. Then waking up I just couldn't help picking it up to continue this roller coaster of a ride story. Simply wanting to know what was going to happen next.

In this story we meet old and new characters I love Francesca who is one of the main character’s in the this story she is alpha male head strong and totally rocks. Being a grit lit story there are plenty of bad guys some of them you will despise. Kerry has a brilliant ability of making the characters come to life.

This is definitely the best one out of the series and i am gutted that I have finished it. I cannot wait to see what Kerry brings us next she certainly knows how to write that's for sure,

I cannot recommend this enough giving it 5 well deserved stars.

Massive thank you to Kerry for a copy in exchange for an honest unbiased review.

Absolutely brilliant!

The 3rd and final part of The Vincent Trilogy and I was desperate for it to be as good as the first two books and Wow! I was not disappointed. The story was brilliant from start to finish, it actually had me in tears at the end. Believable, lovable characters as well as characters you just despise. Kerry has a knack of bringing them to life. I actually think this is the best book of the series and I'm gutted there's no more Vincent storylines. I cannot recognise book and trilogy enough. Brilliant again Kerry.

WOW WOW WOW and WOW again this book has to be the best out of the 3 books in the Vincent Trilogy, the woman with 3 names is back (Dolly, Launa, Franchesca -take your pick) and she really is back to whoop some ass - what a woman!!!
Kerry Barnes has really shown us here that she can deliver the goods and write a top of the notch novel if she keeps up these type of storylines she will eventually be at the top of her genre (grit lit come gangland) and shoot down all her other big rivals out there which there is a good few of - Kimberley Chambers, Martina Cole, Jessie Keane you get the picture.
A fantastic read, not to be missed!

The Vincent family surely do look after their own, these characters are very believable and I hope that Kerry is going to write another!

Please don't leave the story here, there's so much more to be told.

Again another great book by Kerry. In this book family ties are explored and the sensitive topic of hunting people. I loved the insight that went into writing this book and the drawing of attention to the dark desires that people can hold.

There are some books that keep you are awake at night, a storyline that has so much impact, you can’t stop thinking about it. Raw Justice was one of those books. The characters are very well developed, where I found myself immersed in the plight of Gemma, who comes across as a victim. Abandoned to prison for the stabbing of her hateful husband, there appears to be a conspiracy to keep her there, a situation engineered by his equally hateful family. The Ruthers are a deranged, disgusting bunch of thugs ruled by a powerful matriarch figurehead. Their scams which involve drug dealing and prostitution hit an all time low when they are discovered to be behind a horrific sex trafficking plot involving underage girls from Russia. But not everyone is how they seem and the way main character Francesca Vincent gets involved exposes something far worse, something rooted in her own tragic past. The story is filled with twists with some harrowing and violent scenes but a very good read. I really liked some of the lesser characters too, such as Daisy and especially Tressa, a modern day Cinderella.

The story unravels beautifully from the start, but I have to say the final showdown scene felt a little rushed. I would have liked to have seen more build up in this part of the story too, especially with the judges and the way they were lured to the mansion; that final plot fell into place too quickly and easily for me. But nevertheless it was a great ending.

I have loved all the books in the Vincent Trilogy but this one was far the best and the story will stay with me for a long time.

Are justice

Best book ever! Oh God this book had me up till early hours. It has everything n more to keep you interested. I'm so gutted this is the first book I've read of hers and it was part 3 so I ad loved to of read 1 and 2 first. This book has love and wars sadness and tragedys, it's also got quite graphic contents of brutal violence and child abuse. But though the child abuse parts was hard to read it's not no where near soul just on that! You really go on a full journey with each of the characters and this book totally grips you from the start. Just make sure you start on first book.. Only one person I ad of liked to hear from b4 the end was poor daisy..

5 star book

Personally, I like to read a book blind. I don't like to know anything about the story to avoid second guessing the plot. Fellow readers gave it a 5 star for a reason and I must say thank you very much because that's how I buy my books . I look at review and this author gets 5 stars. I won't spoil the story for anyone. I must say I have read all the books in order, this one was different. It was a bit slow to start but stick with it, half way through the plot thickens and then brace yourself for the speed it takes. Thank you to the author, personally I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just about to download her her next book, can't wait.
