Making fabric art fun

Very straightforward explanation of a deceptively easy technique for making a stained glass quilt image from photos you take of the natural world which surrounds you. No need to purchase specialized tools, and the section on using different types of textile paints (fabric paint, textile markers and dye based pencils) to embellish your fabric creations is very informative.

Stained Glass Look Quilting

I haven't tried this yet, only read the book, but I'm really looking forward to making some small pieces and or pillow covers. I also plan to incorporate this into my dollhouse I am making. I'd probably do antique bronze thread as my lead caning though.

Thank you

Hi Deborah,
I would have loved to join your online classes, but unfortunately, I got to know your work a little too late. Happy retirement, and enjoy your travels, classical music, and textile art. Incidentally, those are all my interests as well.

Best regards,

Mark Lenguyen
