Jason Harper must make a decision—one that could save the human race … or possibly destroy it.
An alien spaceship has landed on Long Island, New York—an event witnessed by the entire world. Two days later, on a midsummer’s morning in northern Michigan, Jason and his girlfriend, Sarah, are commandeered by the US military and then whisked away to a gathering where Jason and twelve other so-called Chosen Ones are forced to make choices for the good of planet Earth.
Over the course of three days, Jason’s group must struggle with dilemmas that no human should ever have to face. The decisions they make will have far-reaching consequences for the survival … and future … of mankind.
In the end, there is only one question left for Jason to answer: How does one decide the fate of the world?
One of the best books I´ve read so far. My head is dazed with the amount of effort the author put in the plot. It totally changed my view to the world and left me questioning my morals, priorities and beliefs. Totally recommend it. At first, I wasn’t impressed with the writing style. Lots of tell, not much show. But, the story hooked me in and it got better. The ending is a little unfinished, but that makes the reader’s mind continue to wrestle with the moral dilemmas of the story. Very deep and worth diving into.
