I mainly got this book to discover new castles I didn’t know about and look at beautiful pictures, and it delivered just that. I can’t wait for when we can travel again and I can plan to go see these beauties in person 😭

I don't normally read picture books. But the stunning pictures in this book drew me to it instantly. And I'm so glad that I read it.
The explanation about each Castle is long enough to explain the history but short enough to be easily understood by most teens and adults.
Great for getting travel ideas.
This book has been a highlight of my year so far, and I really recommend it.

With stunning photographs and short descriptions/facts, this was just the picture book to pick up in the cruise library. Not all are technically castles, but they are beautiful architectural elements with fascinating histories.

Love all the pictures, and short pieces of history. However there were quite a few pages were you had to strain to read the text over the pictures and font color choice was horrible.

As my daughter said when opening this book "the Taj Mahal is not a castle!" I am proud that my daughter is smarter then this supposed travel writer.
