It’s time for the Midorigaoka school festival, and rumors abound that Mr. Maki has some trouble planned. Mafuyu escapes from the Hanabusa mansion and heads to campus in her Natsuo disguise, while Takaomi welcomes a posse of Midorigaoka alumni and some of Mafuyu’s delinquents from Saitama. With the troops all assembled, the only thing left to do is wait for Mr. Maki to make his move…
She is a Japanese manga artist known for creating The Magic Touch and Oresama Teacher which have both been serialized on the Hana to Yume magazine. Tsubaki began drawing manga in her first year of high school. She was soon selected to be in the top 10 of Hana to Yume Mangaka Course, and subsequently won the Big Challenge contest.
Mafuyu is away at boarding school to clean up her thugish ways and runs into the man who influenced her, who is now a teacher, Takaomi Saeki. She has finally made her first friend, Hayasaka, a rather dense thug. Together they are the Public Morals Club!
Oresama Teacher vol 27 is another odd installment in this beloved series. This time we focus on the student festival as Mafuyu’s school. I know the mixed up first half was meant to be funny hijinks but I’m just not feeling it. I love seeing all of my favorite people come into play but I wish I could have gotten into the glow of the funny.
However, like vol 26, the second half saved the volume for me. Of course, Takaomi Saeki has a plan and it all comes together in a fun and funny way. Our ex-student council president lingers around the school and it’s kinda bizarre. It’ll be interesting to see what his bets have to do with Mafuyu. The best moment was the confrontation between Saeki and Maki!
While I can’t wait to move on from the odd storyline with Mafuyu play-acting as a pet, I am totally stoked about Saeki’s plan coming together. Finally! Let’s see the final act of this rumble...
MAFUYU DO SOMETHING????????? i hate that she feels like she has the obligation to stay in that mansion im??? idk what's happening anymore but I'm glad the other guys are here too they're always fun
