The International Police show up in the aftermath of the battle at Po Town to find Sun and Moon digging around for Zygarde cells. Sun clearly has trust issues with any big organization because of his experience with Aether, but he's willing to tell them about their experiences with the Ultra Beasts... for a price. Well, Moon talks to them. That's seriously so unfair that Sun got 60,000 bucks and Moon did all the work. I don't think Moon cares, but I sure would have!

Tapu Bulu comes to the rescue when a remnant Ultra Beast threatens the group, and then the kids make a heartfelt plea to help the Tapus fix this mess that the humans made.

They then travel out to Poni Island to find the last Tapu. Anabel and Moon take off to find any lingering civilians, where it's revealed that Anabel is actually from the alternate dimension that the Ultra Beasts originate.

Sun goes exploring and ends up in a gang fight with a bunch of crabrawler and their boss, Crabominable, when they take the special berry from him. Hapu shows up just in time to save the day, but mostly she wants to impress Tapu Fini so it will accept her as the new Kahuna of Poni Island. She also gives Sun the the Machamp pokeride, and that was pretty awesome as well.

Back on Ula'ula, Lille sees Type: Null in the background during a communication with Prof. Kukui, and rushes to the site to find her brother who ran away from Aether even before she did. They finally meet again, and their concern for one another is just so sweet. Lillie explains Nebby's changed form and a mystical flute is revealed.

Lillie and Gladion are finally reunited (yay! 😊) and more has been revealed about their mother's outrageous plan for the Ultra Beasts to infiltrate Alola.
I'm really curious to learn more about the alternate dimension the Ultra Beasts come from, and, as revealed in this volume, the humans who live there as well. I wonder if Anabel will share any more information about where she comes from to our main characters?

Ok. These kids are honoring the Pokémon spirit guardians, fighting off extra-dimensional beings, uncovering an evil corporation and pushing back at a local gang, while earning money and learning more pharmaceutical insights. Cool.
