This spine-tingling read includes two twist-filled thrillers by Amanda K. Morgan— Secrets, Lies, and Scandals and Such a Good Girl —in one heart-pounding collection!
In Secrets, Lies, and Scandals , nothing ruins summer vacation like a secret—especially when it involves a dead teacher. When five teens find themselves with a dead body and no answers, they decide to make a pact to keep it a secret. With the police hot on the case, they don’t have much time to figure out how to trust each other. And one member of the group may decide the best way to protect themselves is to make sure someone else is found guilty…
In Such a Good Girl , Riley Stone is just about perfect. (Ask anyone.) She has a crush on her French teacher, Alex Belrose. (And she suspects he likes her, too.) Riley doesn’t usually play games. (But when she does, she always wins.) She thinks a game with her teacher is about to start. Riley always has a plan…and she always wins.
Will these teens come out on top, or will their tangled webs of deception and intrigue pull them under?
This one is good and really unpredictable. However, this gave me so much anxiety cos I can't decide whether to trust this certain character or not. But overall, this first book is interesting.
• Secrets, Lies, and Scandals - 4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This second book is UNHINGED. This is gave me EXTREME anxiety!!! I couldn't put it down though. By far, the most interesting one. However, I think this book was rushed. There are a lots of conflicts to be resolved and the author ended it with a cliffhanger...like really? How about Tyler and Cade? And everyone else? I need to know what happened next and I'm so surprised that that was the last page. BRUH. This could have been better. It has more potential but now, I'll keep thinking what will happen to them. Like seriously, I've been staring at the wall for 10 minutes straight just to process everything and why it has to end like that.
Overall, I'm giving this book a 4 stars cos I'm really disappointed to how the second book ended AND FOR GIVING ME ANXIETY.
Okay, so I read this book. To be honest, I have no idea how to describe how I feel about it. It was the WEIRDEST book I have ever read in my life. I was like...ummmmmmmmmmmmm WHY. She freaking LIKES HER TEACHER. I know it happens, but the way the main character is portrayed is realy weird and messed up. If you've read it, you know what I'm talking about it. Just play it off as sexual harassment-sureeeeeeeeee. Anyway, all I can say is that it was weird and I just can't even.
The first part of the book was too cliché, the story wasn’t smooth and the plot was absurd. I found that it was miserably written and the writer didn’t choose her words well, the vocabulary was very poor and there was no linking between the sentences. I skipped many paragraphs to get to the main ideas and events. The second story though was a little better. Nonetheless, I didn’t like the writing style. Some of the lies were a little too much and not necessary. The last plots of the two books weren’t a hit. Altogether I didn’t have a good time reading it and i wouldn’t read it again.
I have to say this book was so all over the place that the further I got into it the less it started to make since. The way it end was so horrible I didn’t care for it at all, don’t get me wrong she is a good author it’s just that this book seemed rushed and just thrown together with lots of holes
2 books in one??? Yes please. I read 640 pages in not even two days because I couldn’t put this down. I give both stories 4/5 ⭐️. They both did kinda leave you on a cliffhanger which was like UGH, but otherwise I had fun reading these two books!
Such a Good Girl: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Secrets, Lies, & Scandals: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The end of the second book wasn’t even an ending. Just “oh here is the hard drive” and done. No confrontation to the suspects or anything just ended randomly

I didn't think the stories were terrible...more like a lot of details that I felt weren't needed. The endings of both books pissed me off just a little.
Such a good girl: 2.5 stars Secrets, lies, and scandals: 3 stars Being a writer, I can't help but point out, the second book has some mistakes (as in grammar and fact-checking errors)!
Truly wish I could give this book 0 stars? There were ‘2 books’ in this one book? Both stories were bad? The first story is a gro*mer and the second one was so hard to follow.
this book is kinda messy.. dont get me wrong, she is a great author but this book was quite hard to understand. The ending did not feel like an ending at all? it was filled with many holes and it felt rushed. just felt that it was quite similar to netflix how to get away with murder.
