Whilst I do think the list of herbs and their properties is extensive, I don't appreciate the author's recommendations for people to use white sage and to worship goddesses from Yoruban culture which is a closed practice. Additionally, the introduction to the book is very female-centric, using she pronouns, despite the fact that anyone can be a Wicca.
another great introduction to the wiccan path. while reading, it turns out things i had been doing a lot in my life were wiccan related so i had unconsciously already taken an interest or been intrinsically drawn to a lot of the aspects in wicca already which i thought was really cool. the book itself is also beautiful
Copied out quite a few of the recipes for future use. Loved how practical most of them were and that I already have a lot of the ingredients on hand :)
I loved the illustrations and some of the spells ideas but was hoping for a little more substance. Overall a cute little book to get a general overview of Wicca.
