I love reading stories about animals and we have two cats ... so this book caught my eye. I used to read all in the Chicken Soup for the Soul books but it's been a while.

There are 101 stories and poems about kittens and cats and they are divided into chapters:

* Magical Miraculous Cats
* Clever Cats
* When the Cat Choose You
* What a Character
* Cat Therapy
* Oh So Naughty
* Four-Legged Friends
* Tricks & Traits
* Learning to Love the Cat
* Brave Cats

The stories are a couple pages each so are a quick read and most were interesting.

It's amazing how many cats, though, were indoor/outdoor cats (ours are strictly indoor cats) and how many of the stories involved owners who had multiple cats (like five or more) plus multiple dogs. And some had catteries in their barns and sheds so how much human contact would the cats get?

This is an absolutely delightful compilation of stories regarding cats. They are such charming and amusing creatures that it is hard to imagine there are actually people who dislike them. Cats are intelligent creatures, and yet oh so naughty. They have a way loving on a person that can soften the hardest of hearts. They truly are angels in disguise. I love my fur-babies and all of their cousins.

I used to love the chicken soup books when I was younger. Many times the stories would make me cry. Now they're kinda cheesy. Easy & lighthearted read though.

Some good heartfelt stories were included, but they only offered the barebones of the situation. I would have loved less stories so that the included ones could be expanded to be more sincere
