This is my first Kindle eBook, and only my second published work (the first was a short story). I've marked it as "read" because I've obviously read this book over and over, but I'm not rating it or reviewing it because I'm emotionally invested in the characters, the story, and the writing process itself.

I certainly hope everyone enjoys the book, and I would welcome any reviews or discussion.

I loved this book so much. What I prefer when reading is for a story to grab me so I can enter their world quickly and this book did that. I also want to care about the characters which I did. I don't read romance novels but the few sex scenes were fabulous. This book reminds me of the Twilight series only more of a thriller. I immediately started the second book and I believe there will be a third.

So thankful I lucked into hearing about this book! Loved it so much so I didn’t want to stop reading or for it to come to the end. The story line drew me in, kept me engaged and always wondering when the next shoe would drop. I became emotionally attached to all the characters and felt constantly on edge and off kilter. The mystery of it was thrilling for me because I wasn’t quite sure where everything was going and then when it became clear I was excited about the premise and all the endless possibilities. I knew it was a good book when I became so absorbed into it that I was looking over my shoulder for someone to get me.
