Having to say goodbye to the Petrie family is so bittersweet.

I'm happy that Lizzie and Sarah came out on top over the unfair treatment they're getting. I could have kept reading about this family even if Markinson only wrote about their daily routine, and the kids growing up... the series has such a great cast of characters supporting Lizzie and Sarah, I know I'd never be bored of them.

This was a great conclusion though.

More Lizzie Dramas!

Lizzie’s life is progressing but a few bumps in the road because of her family suddenly find her facing challenges she’d never imagined facing. When things start falling apart, Lizzie must keep strong, support her family, and find a way for them to move on the future they all deserve.

Each time I read a new story in the A Woman Lost series I am reminded of just how much Lizzie is a fabulous character. Although this story is part of a series, it still works as a stand alone story, which I love, however to get the full experience I completely recommend starting at the beginning of the series. Lizzie is one of those characters that takes you on a journey with her, and it is an absolute pleasure to accompany her and a privilege in being their throughout the growth due to her personal achievements. Lizzie, in her way, is reminiscent of us all, and from her we can all learn so much.

As usual there was a lot of drama and a lot of fun to be had. Life is never simple for Lizzie, Sarah, and the extended family, which just adds so much to these stories. Surprises appear every time, and just when I think I know what Lizzie is going to do, she changes everything and I am in awe of how she handles everything that comes at her. The characters that make Lizzie’s life the drama it is all bring something unique to the story, whether it be a new challenge for Lizzie to face in helping them, or it affects her life directly. Being there to watch all of them grow and change is brilliant and provides great entertainment.

Filled with memorable moments, drama, angst, and that hint of comedy T.B. Markinson expertly brings to the Lizzie stories, I am just excited for more from Lizzie in future and finding out what the future has in store.

WOW!

Everything around Lizzie is falling apart and her past is coming back to haunt her.
Despite all those nasty entanglements, there are plenty of fun things happening around Lizzie too. Readers, be prepared for this vertiginous and fascinating roller coaster of Lizzie's life.
A Woman Complete is the final book in A Woman Lost series. A series I really enjoyed. It’s family centered, where friendship is important and communication is key. I felt really connected with the characters and what they were going through. As in all the books in this series, the banter and the dialogue are very amusing. Now I'm going to miss all the characters.

It is very sad to be saying goodbye to this cast of characters. You really grow to love them over the course of the series. Like family you are sometimes disappointed in them or even angry with them, but you love them. Lizzie has really grown through the course of the stories. Sarah is the best person for Lizzie. She understands and accepts her like no one else. I have started the series from the beginning and I highly recommend it. I hope to see a spin off of some of the supporting characters.

I can see why people thought this was the conclusion of the series. Lizzie who always seems to have the perfect life in the midst of the chaos around her is struggling. Her career is being undermined even though she is a tenured professor. Because of her brothers legal problems her name is mud and she is attacked by strangers and play group moms. Media suggests she was part of her brother’s financial shenanigans and maybe even the demise of his wife. Through it all Sarah is her rock and support. I liked seeing Sarah take the lead in more intimate times as well. This story is less on the comedy side but still with funny moments. Sarah learns even when she’s doing her best things can go wrong that are beyond her control. It is time for some big changes and along with that comes closure for some characters. I could have been happy to end the series here as things are wrapped up well. But happily for me there are at least two more books on KU.

I very much enjoyed reading this book. This was my first book in the Woman Lost series. It can be read as a stand alone but now I want to go back and read all the others. This was such a fun read. The author kept me engaged with the characters and plot twists throughout. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last.

This is a wonderful final chapter to a wonderful series. I can relate so much to Lizzie it is quite painful at times (laughs)and I for one will miss her, and the rest of the gang, and their antics very much.

The book starts with pressure building on Lizzie as the whole world seems to turn against her. I was waiting for the big fight back where Lizzie uses her intellect and novel way of viewing the world to vanquish her enemies. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out to be quite as dramatic as I had hoped.
In the end the domestic soap opera drifted along quite nicely towards what turned out to be a sweet ending.

These novels continue to have some intangible element that draws me in and continues to demand my attention; I don’t know what it is, but I like it. If I was going to only say one thing it would be that this was a compelling read that I tore through, enjoyed, and then immediately grabbed the sequel. Objectively it wasn’t the best novel I have read, it won’t be on my favorite list, however I am certain that I will be reading the rest of the series right away. I recommend this entire series to basically anyone and everyone. READ THE SERIES IN ORDER!

I continue to like each novel more than the last. I think this is because there is now a strongly established foundation from the previous novels for each subsequent to build on; there are very detailed and fleshed-out characters right from page one that continue to grow and change. By this point there is a complex web of family dynamics that has crossed fully into soap opera territory (but in a good way), and yet the author manages to make the over-the-top-dramatics somehow realistic and plausible. Excellent work.

This is a very fast and easy read, that was a compelling page turner, and has me very invested. This series is filled with so many little hooks that grab your attention and keep you reading. Each novel has enough plot, action, and resolution to keep you satisfied while also leaving unresolved questions that make you dive into the next one.

This was the “conclusion” to the series (as in it was supposed to be, but then the author later decided to write more) and it filled that role well. Everything wasn’t resolved by any means, but it was a good ending point for the main points of the novel that were ongoing. I am glad that these characters came back in additional novels, but if this had been the end it would have been a satisfying conclusion.

first of all' i'd just like to say, out of all the kindle books with a lesbian romance theam i started in ernest back in msrch and moved to exclusive, the poeple (yes i see them as poeple) way back in book 0
i very quickly became very fond of the main caracters, yes they disapointed me at times, i never
thought of lizzie as clueless she just convinsed herself that to concentrate on her love of histery was all she needed, one thing i must say is i never saw sarah as bunnette to me rite from the start i saw her as mousy blonde in my minds eye, through the rest of the series i fell deeply in love with both some times shouting out loud at the kindle tears rolling down my face, even the happy places lizzie got
one caracter i had trouble getting to like was maddie her continuing presants with sarah all ways had me wondering if their friendship was just that frienship and her ever bitchy snarcks to lizzie who i had all ready fell deeply in love with, untill the midle of the series when thank god sarah told lizzie
maddie never meant any of it and she actualy liked lizzie, and more maddie and lizzie bonding time that i began to feel a fondness towards maddie another caracter i have always liked was rose and her undieing lov for her doaghter even throught dark times with troy when sarah had to came to turmes with the fact her mother wouldent be always at the beck and call, and almost all of sarahs life she's had her mother to herself,
can i say in closing that to come to the end of this series it feels just like grieving the lose of a loved one and hope in some future books from tb markinson that we rediscover these poeple so lovingly drawn i will always keep lizz sarah maddie rose and ethan in my heart. thank you...

This is the seventh and last book of the series. T.B. Markinson has made an extraordinary job with the series and is beyond words how beautifully and perfectly done was this closing book to a grand series. It is undoubtedly an epic conclusion to the much-loved A Woman Lost series.

After reaching a balance, suddenly Lizzie finds her world is tilted on its axis threatening to destroy everything she has built, and break the peace of her family. Fortunately, she has a new well-connected friend to lean on. Will they be able to fight and regain her life back?

I had a very hard time writing this review because I didn’t want this series to end. Has been fascinating seeing Lizzie evolve, grow through the books, and to witness those around her to grow with her. Has been an intense journey and this book is the perfect way to close a very brilliant and amazing series. It was deep, intriguing, funny, emotional and simply perfect.

Lizzie and all the lovely characters that we have got to know through the books will hold a very special place and I am sure I’ll be reading this series several times in the future.

It is really hard to let go, I love this series and I’ll miss Lizzie and the Petries adventures. But as they say, even great things must end. Thank you very much T.B, Markinson for this wonderful, amazing journey, standing ovation for you.

I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

I received an ARC copy of the book from the author and voluntarily leaving my review.

On the verge of her career collapsing, coping with her wife’s recuperation, bullying mothers and the fallout of her brother being in prison, Lizzie has to dig deep to find the strength to be the adult and the rock for her family.

What I love about the Woman Lost series is that explores the longer term issues of being in a relationship with the stresses of family and external issues that need to be handled. I love how Lizzie has to grow as a person, and how she interacts with Maddie and Ethan in particular, with snarky humour.

This book is not just tying up loose ends but has a real plot. It has extra appeal by the weaving in characters from the Miracle girl series and the historical and political references.

If you haven’t read the Woman Lost books, do yourselves a favour, make the most of lockdown and read the whole series.

And we arrive to the last book in the series, and wow! wasn't this a wonderful way to say goodby?

Lizzie had to face the possibility of his professional life falling apart, and if that wasn't enough, there is a bully mom who set his sight on her family and a demented Facebook group spreading outrageorus rumours about her and her brother.

And you know what? Through all this problems, she shines. Yes, she has nightmares and yes, she still finds difficult to talk to Sarah about her problems but she does. And when she finally faces the bully mom is EPIC!

She has evolved and grown so much! It's a joy see her with her family and friends, the strong bond they all have!

I have terribly enjoyed this journey with Lizzie and Sarah, and I have loved every moment of it.

And, as always, Stephanie Murphy does a fantastic job with the narration

This was such a good book! Lizzie’s growth is phenomenal. She does repeat some of her mistakes, namely keeping things from her wife. Otherwise, she rises to the challenges as her life appears to be crumbling around her. Although she doesn’t see it, still calling herself clueless, her friends point out how much they need her. Everyone appears in this final book, too – siblings, parents, friends, enemies all take a bow. There is humor because Lizzie does have her faults and some of the scenes are just funny. This was a great way to end the series, but I will miss Lizzie and everyone else.

I received an ARC for an honest review.

I've just finished book 7 in the Woman Lost series. I read the entire series in 3 days. I couldn't wait to dive into each book one after the other. This series is about a woman who as a young academician believes she will never have happiness. She has all sorts of issues, mostly stemming from lack of self esteem and trust because of a loveless childhood. She almost sabatoges the relationship of her life. I was on the edge of my chair most of the time and wanted to smack her in the head al.ost every page. If you love lesfic romance, then read this series. You won't easily forget this story.

I would like to thank the author for challenging me the way she did with this series. I‘m a big introvert and some parts of the books and some characters really challenged the introvert me. But to see Lizzie grow the way she did from the beginning until the end of the books left me behind with a huge smile. Even if I wish she would sometimes said stop in some situations, the way everything worked out for her I’m the end was perfect. Like the other books this one was wonderfully written. I will miss Lizzie and her wonderful family and would love to know what happens with them in the future. So really thank you again T.B. I love your writing style and will definitely read more.

Brilliant series

I was fortunate enough to read the entire series ... from Book 0 - 7. An exquisite journey of a fragile woman who found her strength to embrace love in all of its forms ... wife, children, friends, and finally ... family. I heartily and unequivocally and enthusiastically recommend this series and any other works by this author. The characters were honest and relatable. I would, however, like to have seen more as I would love to know how Casey grew up and how she took on the world. She’s an amazing and inspiring character. Thank you. Peace

Absolutely amazing series!

I thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series. I love the story and the characters. I love the life Lizzie and Sarah share. (It may make you broody). It has been a pleasure to go on this journey with Lizzie and her family. Through the good, the bad, and the ugly. I'm glad that everything worked out in the end, mostly. Such a feel good story with warmth and love despite trials and tribulations. Absolutely love it! Definite must read. Serious kudos to T.B. Markinson for this wonderful creation.

Great read

This book was a great ending to a woman lost series. This one will again take you through all kinds of emotions. I love the characters and how they evolved throughout the series. Lizzie and her family are amazing and entertaining. If you liked the rest you will really enjoy this one. If you haven’t read any start at the beginning and they are fast reads. I started about the series about 1 month ago and they are all great reads.

How crazy mixed up family

This is a book about Lizzie and her family. Lucy has a history professor in along with her wife Sarah have four children plus they adopted another. The plot revolves around Lizzie and her troubles plus how she tries to fix everybody else’s troubles. It is a wonderful comforting book and the characters are wonderful and very heartwarming. I recommend this book For all who like family love and drama.

When I started this series I wondered how the author would sustain the characters for so many books. I worried about the situations becoming stale and silly but, little did I suspect that I’d become so connected to them. I find myself more and more connected to both their strength and vulnerability, and their sense of what makes a family and that families gone in all shapes and sizes is refreshing. I’m getting sad to know I’m heading towards the end of this series.

T.B. Markinson has done it again with another book I couldn’t put down. I found myself not wanting it to be over. As sad as it is to see Lizzie’s journey come to an end, seeing her evolution has been heart warming. If you enjoy snarky comebacks, earl grey tea and happy endings this is definitely a must read.

Excellent conclusion!

I just love these characters, their quirks and relationships to one another. Every one of the books in this series has been hard to put down. I have truly enjoyed seeing the personal growth Lizzy has gone through, as well as the growth of her relationship with Sarah and their ever-expanding family!

An enjoyable read with realistic characters. Although part of the 'Woman Lost' series it is a complete book with a satisfying conclusion. Sufficient reference is made to what has happened in previous books for it to make sense and the ending could be the ending of the series, although I notice that another volume has just been released.

NoComment of Nunawading (AU)

A slightly more serious journey in A Woman Complete, and all the more enjoyable for it… T.B. Markinson never fails to deliver on the steamy scenes and nails the one-liners like a carpenter possessed.
Looking forward to Book Eight in the A Woman Lost series, it’s sure to be another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ episode in the life of the (extended) Petrie family.

Wow! What a journey! Honestly I’m a little speechless...I’m not sure how to put into words what I’m feeling. There are so many brilliant characters, love, drama, self discovery, etc. I look forward to reading the entire series again but I think this one was my favorite.
