This author is becoming a favourite of mine to read. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book.
Olivia was having the night from hell, agreeing to a tinder date who tried to grope her and then getting lost trying to find her way home she nearly gets arrested for being a prostitute that is until Callan arrives and saves her. Suddenly the night doesn’t seem so bad but will she throw caution to the wind and see where they could go?
Callan was in a dodgy part of town after he found a french bulldog and was determined to return him to his owner, never one to make an emotional commitment to anyone after his high school sweetheart committed suicide he decided Love wasn’t possible for him but that all changes when he sees a curvy goddess about to be arrested, he knows just looking at her that he has been waiting for this moment and now he’s found it he has no intention of losing something so precious. Could he really trust his heart to someone else?
These books are quick and easy to read with really relatable and likeable characters. Safe and sweet reads. 4🌟 read.

Woo-wee! This needed to be read while lounging in a walk-in freezer. That first dare was something to behold! The subsequent dares were the kinds of things that swell hearts (and other parts). I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I liked this entertaining short story. The characters were interesting and relatable. I loved the dares.
Olivia is having a bad day. She leaned over to ask someone in a car for directions and a police officer decided to arrest her for prostitution! Olivia's luck looks up when Callan comes along and saves her from being arrested. She is attracted to him and definitely wants to get to know him better.
Callan is a police commander and is trying to do a good thing by helping a stray dog get home. When that ends up at a dead end he decides to head home but before he gets in his car, he notices a beautiful woman walking down the street. Callan comes to her rescue when she is being arrested and he takes her home. He is attracted to Olivia and he wants to see her again.
The way that Callan and Olivia met was awesome. It would make for a great story to tell their kids. I liked that Olivia pushed Callan to do things out of his comfort zone but ultimately it was his decision whether or not to follow through. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Freedom is Alexa Blue’s second book in her Protecting Curves series. In this book, we meet Olivia and Callen. Olivia teaches English online and works part-time as a photo journalist. Callen is an older, alpha male and with his type A persona makes him a good police commander. He has an all work no play approach. Destiny brings these two together late one evening. Callen notices Olivia walking down the street on the seedier side of town. He witnesses Olivia being confronted by a cop for prostitution. Callen intervenes and take control of the situation. He takes her home. What happens with these two? Will they find happiness?
I enjoyed this book and Ms. Blue’s multi-layered characters. Olivia is focused and strong. Callen is the same. I like how Charlotte pulls Callen out of the static cocoon he spun for his life. As their relationship evolves so does Callen’s character. I think it is wonderful that he evolves. I also appreciate that Ms. Blue’s female leads are curvy. I enjoy that Ms. Blue adds an epilogue to these books as they allow readers to glimpse into their HEA lives.

Callan Mason is a police commander trying to find the own of a lost dog. While out doing a good dead he sees a curvaceous woman getting in trouble. She is asking for help from someone who is sitting in a SUV. How could she me mistake for a prostitute is beyond me. LOL anyway, Callan is attracted to her but she noticed that he is by the rules, book and wants to be in control. She gives him an offer he needs to think about before he refuses, (of course) before he denies the challenge. Olivia is on an mission to get out her comfort zone while helping him accept the challenges offered to him. How will this help either one of them? Not really sure. This is the second book in the series and no cliffhanger. The story line does have a continuous plot just men who want to protect their curvy women.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Freedom is book two in the ‘’protecting her curves’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When police officer Callen tries to find a dog’s owner, he doesn’t expect to find love. After a bad tinder date, Olivia finds herself in a bad part of town. When Callen comes to her rescue, she finds herself a man.
The chemistry between Callen and Olivia is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

I loved Callan’s and Olivia’s story. Callan is a commander with the local police who’s a stickler for the rules he saves Olivia from getting arrested by another cop for thinking that she was a prostitute but all Olivia was trying to do was ask for directions to the nearest bus station because her tinder date was the worse date ever. Callan drives Olivia home he knew from the first time that he saw the gorgeous curvy woman that she was his, Olivia notices how much Callan is a stickler for the rules so she challenges him to 3 dates to do something that he would never do and Callan accepts. I loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Alexa Blue has quickly become one of my favorite authors so I was excited to read Freedom, book 2 in the Protecting Her Curves Series. Olivia just had a terrible date and things just get worse when a cop tries to arrest her for being a hooker when she goes asking for directions. Callan is a police commander that comes to her rescue when he is trying to find a lost dog's owner. Callan knows immediately that she is the woman he has been waiting for. After a tragic loss years ago, he refused to get close to anyone for fear of being hurt. And Olivia definitely wants to spend more time with Callan so she comes up with 3 dares to help him enjoy life more. Great story. Looking forward to more!

It's a short romance, cute.
There are no big twists, but the interest is heightened by the challenge side launched by the heroine Olivia, facing the still-controlled officer that is Callan.
Callan meets Olivia when she is about to be arrested by mistake. He was already attracted to her when she was across the street when it happened. When she wants to go home, he accompanies her. Although both attracted, Olivia feels a certain stiffness and rigor in Callan which does not allow anything. To provoke him, she offers him challenges to get him out of his routine.

I loved Olivia’s cameo in “Redemption” so imagine how excited I was that she got her own story in “Freedom “. I also loved getting to know Callan. He is a sexy, talented Police Commander whose world stops and starts the moment he saves Olivia from getting in trouble with the cops on the street. These two beautiful characters end up being a perfect match and I can’t wait to see what’s next for this series but if these first two books at any indication chances are I’ll love that one too.

This is an over the top, insta love story about an older man, Callan, who falls head over heels for the curvy, younger, Olivia, as soon as he sees her. It is late night and he rescues her from some sketchy circumstances. I really enjoyed the way Ms. Blue wrote these characters with personalities that were so different from one another, yet complemented each other perfectly. I am looking forward to reading more from her, as she is becoming one of my go to authors.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Callan and Olivia. She's a young woman who enjoys photography but teaches online English to make ends meet. He's the police commander and works a lot. When he finds a lost french bulldog and tries to return it, he comes across a beautiful angel in a bad section of town. He rescues her and himself at the same time. Great HEA.

Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. This is a well written story that has intrigue, action, romance, and a French bulldog that makes this book an interesting read. He is looking for the owner of the French bulldog that he rescued. While walking back to his car, he sees Olivia and she is having a very bad day. This has a really well constructed good characters. The characters are realistic and have good chemistry.

This is book two in the Protecting Her Curves series. This is a quick, fast paced, insta-love story between an older man and a younger woman. Olivia meets Callan as an officer is attempting to arrest her for prostitution. Olivia invites Callan up to her apartment and things heat up from there. A really good, shirt story, sure to heat your lunch break. Enjoy!

This is an insta love fast paced story. Loved the characters of Olivia and Callan. I loved Callan's protective streak when it comes to Olivia. There meeting was really romantic and the instant attraction was felt by both. I love how they take their time getting to the HEA. It was perfect. I have read other titles by this author and this is just as good as those. The author did a great job with giving these characters life. The chemistry is undeniable and steamy. The storyline flows smoothly from beginning to end.

An enjoyable, fun, and exciting read! It is quick, engaging, well written, funny, witty, steamy, and guaranteed to pull you in from the first page. The characters are likeable and have depth; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

This was a cute book.
Callan was so easy to fall HARD for.
If I was sunk immediately, just imagine how Olivia felt. It was sweet. It was HOT. And it was quick.
A great read for a lazy afternoon.

Olivia is almost arrested for prostitution when Callan comes I in and rescues her. What will happen when sparks fly between them. Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and steam. Great characters, quick and entertaining story. I liked it.

Callan is trying to find the owner of a dog and he sees Olivia and its lust at first sight. He lives by rules but is willing to break his rules for her. She must show him that rules are made to be broken and their relationship will bring him what he needs.

This book was just okay for me. There were just several things that threw me off. Callan was definitely alpha but I could never get a real read on her. She was described as one way but acted another. Just didn’t get their chemistry. But it was okay for a quick read.

A nice quick read
Olivia and Callan are fine, if a bit bland, as is the romance. There are several editing misses, but this read is a light quick diversion.

Olivia is having a bad night. After escaping from a bad date she is nearly arrested for being a prostitute when Callen rescues her. Callen knows that she's not a prostitute and offers to get her home. Sparks fly between them but Olivia isn't going to make things easy for Callen. Callen wants Olivia and knows that she's not like other women so he'll have to take his time with her. Will Olivia see that Callen is the man for her?

This was okay, but the heroine felt like she was all over the place. She's outgoing, she's shy, she's fearless, she's afraid. She's neurotic, that's what!
