It took me a little while to get into this because Jess is such a random character, that said, once it got going I couldn't put it down. The characters are all very different and there are times when you love them and times when you will find them despicable. Apart from our Hs, Jess, Zac and Alex there is a great supporting cast of characters who keep the story going. An exciting plot that is no straight battle between good and evil, our main characters carry out some pretty depraved and violent acts, there are also emotional moments that squeeze the heart.
I would recommend this to any fan of dark paranormal romance.

If you’re a fan of 50 Shades on steroids, Underworld, Vampire Diaries...THIS IS YOUR JAM! This has it ALL. Thousands of readers should be showing up for the love triangle of Jessica, Alex & Zac. Diary version of twilight
This series reminded of a X rated version of Twilight and the Vampire Diaries. It kept me entertained and didn't feel like it dragged on.

Only reason this is a 3 is because I don't normally read DARK paranormal romance. I love all romance but I personally usually go towards the sweet and spicy or slightly angst with spice romance so this was out of my realm. That being said, if dark paranormal romance is your thing, give this trilogy ago because I loved the dialogue and the action.

Started off really intriguing- interesting storyline, complex characters, but the sexual frustration without emotional connection or resolution by halfway through the book was just too much for me to stand.

vampires 🧛♂️
This series has definite Vampire Diaries vibe but has more of an adult theme. The ending is not what I expected but I enjoyed the story until the last book. Personally I wasn’t a fan of the ending.

Thoroughly enjoyed the trilogy and hope there is more to come.
The characters are well written, the story is nicely paced and it’s definitely a series I will read more than once
