Nicholas's Warmancer series just keeps getting better. The action is hot and the plot lines are superb. I was gripped by the story so much it kept me up way past my bedtime, I just couldn't put it down. If you want a space opera thriller that will grab you, then start reading this one. You will not be disappointed!

The characters continue to develop in the second installment. The pace is fast and furious in this installment with enough action for most adrenaline junkies. We start to get glimpses of the world building going on and for me Don Marzio starts to become a key character to watch.

James and a few remaining troopers and allies are now fighting for their lives in the Red Sand against overwhelming numbers. Nathan had been separated from James and feared him lost. Danny was surviving by allying himself with others who are determined to bring down the corporations. And the various species of aliens were organized, huge in numbers, and cared not about losing any of their numbers.

I loved the way this story was told from the viewpoints of the different humans, the aliens, and the allies. It brought the different threads to life and showed the progression of how all would come together. The table is now set.

I received a free copy of this ebook but I chose to leave this review because this series ROCKS!!

The non stop action, disasters and suspense continues from Shadow. The characters are further developed and it ends with a cliffhanger leading on to the next book.
It is a great story line and full of: action, war, intrigue, deception, hope, despair, vengeance, humour,.....
Note: a lot of gore, violence, gambling
Received this book as an ARC and decided to

An excellent continuation. A lot faster paced than the first but does a really good job setting up the final battle in the next book.

(I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review)
