For Marty, the promotion to CEO was an exciting step in his already very successful young career; however there was one problem that dampened his enthusiasm just a little bit. He was about to replace a Wiser Care, Inc. legend. Daniel Rosier, or Dan the Man as most knew him, had run the most successful healthcare facility in the company for two decades. After many years of service and unprecedented success, Dan was finally retiring, and Marty had been chosen as his replacement.
“I’d like to teach you something very important that I know will help you be successful in your new role,” Dan said to Marty with a slight smile. “In fact, I’m so confident that if you follow what I am about to tell you, I can almost guarantee your success as a big boss. I didn’t always live by what I am about to share with you, but since I began to do my best at following this model, my career and life as a boss has never been the same.”
Marty was eager to hear more. He knew this was his chance to learn from one of the best at Wiser Care. If his career could turn out anything like Dan’s, he’d be thrilled.

Simply and Eloquently Written
I read this book for a work assignment, but enjoyed it far more than I thought I would. The story line and concepts flow so well, that the "required" reading felt more like leisure reading. The story line is so relatable. I read this book in two sittings. Thank you, Tim! Work well done. :)
