Great book. I love it when authors aren't afraid to include God and faith in their books. This book shows one way things could work out in the U.S.

Although written several years ago, this could be describing many events happening today. Each chapter begins with a Bible verse. Written by a Christian prepper.

An interesting view of what could be coming.
I want Ava and Foley to work things out. Ava is really messed up. The book was slow moving but probably realistic. It picks up at the but it depends on whether or not they can keep the momentum going.

Fantastic!
Mark Goodwin has done it again! His stories keep the reader on the edge of their seats, bitting fingernails and trying not to cry 😢 , but I should've known by now that he never disappoints!
The stories are a very real possibility for us to live through. Since this pandemic arrived much of our world has changed and may never be the same. The sceneros in Mark's books give the reader ideas of what the could and should do to servive.

Excellent series.
This is the second series I have read by Mark Goodwin; the first was ‘The Days Of Noah’. God has given me a thirst for His Holy Word, but sometimes I slack off. The Scripture verses at the beginning of each chapter has renewed my desire to be more diligent in reading the Bible. I really liked these books. I have one complaint - they are addicting, could not put them down. Now, I am going to read ‘The Days Of Elijah’.

I like it that the emphasis is on God being in control!
This was an awesome series of books. Man made plans prayfully, sometimes they went according to plan and sometimes not but the plot was well-developed and referred frequently to some of the many miracles that are recorded in the Bible ( mostly Old Testament) although there was also plenty of New Testament scripture quoted as well.

Second time reading this
Incredible insight into TODAY’S political world. The rioting by Antifa and related socialists/ communists is so near to what is happening right now. Taking out “under God” from the pledge of allegiance is just the beginning. It makes it easy to believe all the events of “Avas Crucible “ could easily happen.

Prophetic???
This will keep you on the edge of your seat. The action keeps moving with surprises at turns. Great characterization. Good plot. However, watching the news about Portland,Seattle and Kenosha make this book all to real. Wow! Another excellent story!
With all that is happening today, this story really should wake people up. This could happen in the coming months. I lived in Austin 21 years and the author really knows the landscape there. Get this book and be prepared to sit on the edge of your seat until the end.

An up to date civil war story!
This has been a great read. It has been close to what is going on today.antifa and the SJW are there .I liked the story line and the characters, I loved the pace as well as the development of what could happen in our country. I highly recommend this story!

I live Mark Goodwin, and the fact that he references our Bible, and tries, in his unique way, to get us to sit up and pay attention. His books are great reads, but and even better education and preparation vehicle. Thank you, Mark, for many hours of great reading. Hurry and write something else for me to read

Like all of Mr. Goodwins books this series did not disappoint. I couldn't put it down. The author has the uncanny ability to take today's headlines and make you see the reality of their potentially ruinous course. Such a book reveals a very perilous future while reassuring us of Gods abiding presence and ultimate victory . highly recommend

Absolutely amazing
I love Mark Good son's books, I can't wait until he comes out with his next one. I am a writer also in nonfiction area of the bible, but I wish I had the imagination that Mark possesses. He brings his characters to life and brings the realities of the quick coming future to mind. Get ready people it is gonna get bad before the Rapture hapens.

I have been thinking of the coming civil war a lot lately, and then I found Mark Goodwin and “Ava’s Crucible”. It said everything I have been thinking about. I was a combat infantryman in the First Calvary Division and Mark’s writing has captured combat. Most writers don’t have any idea what people go through after killing an enemy combatant, but Mark Goodwin does!
He also has a firm fix on Antifa and the people who have hired them to perform their dirty attempts to start a civil war again here in America.
I have become a committed follower of his writing, and will be until I have to do what he is writing about.
