Hanson Serrano is a complicated man—even his therapist tries to convince him to put his trust in someone. But the youngest member of the Bird’s Eye crew isn’t too concerned. He’s got no plans to settle down anytime soon.

That is, until he runs into Thea James—literally. One nasty spill on the sidewalk later, and this brooding Brazilian can’t take his eyes off her fiery red curls and curvy backside. Though, the interaction makes it clear he’ll have to work for this one.

Thea James is looking for something very specific—and Hanson Serrano isn’t it. Nevermind the fact that he’s tattooed from neck to toe, but he’s also much younger than her. She’s been down the bad boy road before and all she has to show for it is her single mom status and an ex that makes her life miserable.

When Thea finally agrees to one date in an effort to halt Hanson’s chase, she’s pleasantly surprised when he pulls out all the stops. In fact, it’s the best date she’s ever been on.

The pair eventually get tangled up—in their feelings and between the sheets. But between Hanson’s walls, Thea’s ex, and a nagging age gap, their blooming relationship feels like a shipwreck waiting to happen.

As the couple navigates this ocean of obstacles, will they give up and abandon ship or find a way to get in the lifeboat and row together?

I love a good single mom romance, but for some reason this one just didn't hit for me. The male narrator had a distracting voice and that made it harder for me to get in to.

😍😍😍

Oh my quiet Hanson didn’t disappoint me 😍😍

In the previous books of the series the author didn’t give much away about Hanson, and i'm happy about it because it was a nice surprise. It only made me more eager to know about him and his love interest.

Hanson can’t open his heart to anyone. He is no made for relationship or love.
Thea want a reliable man, and she can’t fall for another inked bad boy...
especially not one who is also much younger than her.
But there's no denying Hanson has a way to make her melt with just a look 😏

Poor Thea, she got no chance against the charming brazilian 😍😂
Hanson is so freaking perfect 😍
I couldn't blame him even when he majorly f*cked up everything....
I got it bad for this man 😂

The story is fast paced and so easy-to-read, thanks to the short chapters.
It's captivating, sweet, with hot moments 🔥, few bumps along the way, and a swoony epilogue 😍

Plus you gonna see all the crew of Bird's Eye and it's amazing 🖤🖤

I think it was the perfect closure for a great series. And I definitely gonna miss the Bird’s Eye family.

"What kind of Pandora's box will be unleashed if I let him in?"

Hanson was mostly in the background in the previous books, but, boy, he was quite the surprise!!!
And the surprises were kept coming when his eyes catched a woman much older than him and a teacher!!!
Poor Thea!!! She didn't know what hit her when the tattooed Brazilian started to woo her with flours, teddy bears and bouquets of flowers!!! Please don't ask!!!! But I will tell you that I would have fallen for Hanson's antics too, if I were Thea!!!

"You're dangerous."
"Yes, but I'm the right kind of dangerous."

Well, Hanson is kind of a heartbreaker!!! The Bird eye's tattoo parlor is his home and the people in it are his family!!!!
And that's how he is finding his way in school along with Ava!!!
Thea is a teacher and a single mom!!! She needs stability in her life and she is refusing to repeat her past's mistakes by falling for a tattooed much younger man who is working as a tattoo artist...
But Hanson doesn't accept the word No as an answer and he will pull out the big guns in order to make Thea fall for him!!!!

"My best play is to prove her I'm not the kind of guy she thinks I am."

Well, I really enjoyed and this story in this lovely world that Kat Savage has created!!!
Hanson had his fare share in darkness, but honestly... He was surrounded mostly from a sweet lightness!!! I liked the way he was thinking and acting!!!!
Thea was determined to use her logic and ignore her heart but she hadn't counted on a determined man who had the ability to consume her thoughts!!!
These two were so lovely together!!! And I loved the way they were interacting both with Ethan and Ava...

"This man. This man is fire. And I want to burn myself alive." ,/i>

God, I will miss this series!!! I had such a wonderful time alongside them!!!
Hanson was another light and easygoing reading... Fun, sexy and whitty!!!
I'll really miss the men and women of Bird's eye's parlor!!!

"Am I falling in love with her?"

Thea is a single mom and sixth grade math teacher just trying to find someone stable to spend her nights with. When Hawk's mom has an accident and Hanson volunteer's to pick up Ava (Hawk's step daughter) from school he meets Thea and is immediately drawn to her. Thea takes one look at the sexy Brazilian that is Hanson and instantly labels him too young and a bad boy that she wants nothing to do with. But Hanson has his ways to woo her.

I really enjoyed Hanson and Thea. Hanson was so much fun and I adored his fun/unique ways to woo Thea. I loved their connection even when Thea was trying to deny it. And the Ethan (Thea's son) and Ava connection was so adorable. A fun and sassy quick read. But everything felt superficial and underdeveloped; I wish that we got a bit more from them so their back stories and relationship could be developed a bit more. But overall it was a fun story and a good ending to this series. Highly recommend this whole series.

I’ve loved following Kat Savage’s Men of Bird’s Eye series, and I was eager to see how things would conclude in this final book in the series. While I did enjoy this one, I’ll be honest and say that it left me conflicted. It was an easy story that kept me turning the pages, but I do wish certain details had been explored a little more. In the end, I found myself rounding my three-point-five-star rating down as I didn’t enjoy this quite as much as I enjoyed the prior books.

As with all the books in the series, this was a quick read that hooks the reader from the start. The voice pulls you in, ensuring you fall deep and are easily amused by all that is playing out. It was a lot of fun and it had me wanting to see what would come next, yet there were a lot of points where I felt things were over before they’d been fully explored. There were lots of topics throughout, many that hit hard, and when they were handled with such speed I felt as though I was missing some of the connection I had hoped for. While this did not make it a bad read, it just meant it didn’t quite have the full depth I had been hoping for.

All in all, this was an enjoyable conclusion to the Men of Bird’s Eye series. While not my favourite, it was another story I devoured in a single sitting.

Talk about making me all kinds of swoony, twitterpated and in major need of an ice cold shower!
(Seriously, I swear I need a good dunking or two in the arctic ocean). This baby was all kinds of goodness from start to finish and I’m just really sad there isn’t more.

I freakin’ ADORED Thea and Hanson. Thea is simply connected with. I haven’t gone through what she has in any way, but I could relate to how she saw the world around her and herself. Hanson is a force. Charming, thoughtful, playful and so much more. He does have his demons, but he is such a good man…he’s basically book boyfriend gold.

As for their journey to their HEA, it was a lot of fun. There was some drama/angst, but it was on the low end of the spectrum ~ which I liked. But really, Thea and Hanson were just good together. They had great flow, communicated, had amazing chemistry and just felt like they fit together. The big sinkhole in their journey was frustrating, but I really liked how the perpetrator of my frustration was made to see the error of their actions AND talk about a grand gesture. In the end, I’m extremely happy with how everything turned out for these two.

It is a bit sad to know that this is the last book in this series. I picked up Hawk based on the cover and I ended up being all in. I loved getting caught up with the Bird’s Eye crew and seeing how their own relationships were evolving, but the true stars of the supporting characters crew were Ethan and Ava. They were simply awesome and I am crossing my toes that we will see them at some point in the future!

“You have worth that extends beyond what I see, or what your ex saw. The question, goddess, is not why we’d be interested in you, but why you’d allow us a seat to your table.”

This was a beautiful second chance love story that had me completely and utterly swooning for Hanson. He was just so perfect in everyway. Sure, he has his issues but his ability to charm the pants off anyone had me gushing with love for him. The way he breaks down Thea’s walls is so sweet, heartwarming and made me smile. The whole penguin and pebbles anthology was absolutely adorable.

Thea’s inner dialogue was hilarious. The way she tries hard to talk herself out of things had me continually laughing at her. I really wanted Thea and Hanson to get their happy ever after as they both definitely deserve it.

Well written story with such wonderful characters that will have you falling head over heels in love with and a story that is sweet, sexy and passion filled. I absolutely loved it.

4 Star Review Hanson (Men of Bird’s Eye #4) by Kat Savage

It was great to be back with the men and women of the Birds Eye Tattoo Shop and I could not wait to dive in to Hanson Serrano and Thea James’s story which was a good addition to the series.

From the first chapter I was hooked in the story that Ms.Savage wove. From the first moment their eyes met there was a connection between Hanson and Thea, they could not be more different and yet they were a great couple. There is so much more to him than meets the eye and is a man with issues.

The attraction between them builds until it becomes impossible to ignore. I fell hard for both Hanson and Thea. I enjoyed the build up in their relationship and this is a well written story with characters whose story you cannot help but be drawn to.

Nayeli - per RFS
.

Thea: “Almeno puoi dirmi cosa indossare?

Well folks, that's all she wrote! And what a delight this series has been throughout these four books! With each turn of the page, readers discovered a supportive and unconventional family of sexy tattoo artists with painful pasts that made for rocky roads to HEA. Hanson gives us much of the same in a charming and sizzling read with a bit of angst, and a lot of heart and soul, that put a smile on my face.

From the moment readers were first introduced to Hanson Serrano they saw a quiet and reserved young man. They saw a man judged by others for all his tattoos but who doesn't care as he lives life for himself and those he cares about. There's also been an air of mystery surrounding him, a mystery of a painful past that still weighs on him today and has him claiming the men and women of the Bird's Eye Crew as his family. These people mean everything to him and he'd do anything for them in interactions that warmed my heart and made me fall even further in love with him. The day he meets single mom Thea James is a life-altering moment for him with a sizzling instant attraction that has him working hard to win her over. Hanson's a wonderful hero, one who exudes energy, one with a big heart very much on display as he works to convince Thea that their younger man/older woman relationship can work. In slow and sizzling interactions he shows her what HEA will look like if she just gives them a chance.

Thea James is a teacher and single mom, a woman with a nasty ex who's trying to date but who finds herself immediately attracted to the younger tattooed man who's been picking up his niece daily...while trying to pick her up too. Thea's an immensely likable heroine, one who's just the person Hanson needs to share his painful past with. She's a mama bear too when it comes to her young son Ethan and the two of them are a heartwarming addition to the Bird's Eye family.

On a whole this was a quick read with a lot of heart and soul. Hanson and Thea were both sweet and sizzling together in a romance that I was invested in from the very beginning. Add in Ethan and you have the most amazing unconventional family...and the most satisfying end to a series! The men of the Bird's Eye crew may look rough and tough, but they have big hearts that will pull you in from the very first page to the last!

Hanson by Kat Savage
-single parent -Older women younger man

“I found her. The woman whose heart beats in time with mine. My dancing partner. My lioness. My deusa. She freed me.”

This is book number 4 in the Men of Bird’s Eye series. Each book in this series follows a different couple. I really enjoyed and loved Hanson and Thea. I loved the aspect that she was older and a single mother. I feel like now a days its so common to see a older woman with a younger man. They have like a 8-9 year age gap. A little more then half of the book Hanson is pursuing Thea to go out with him. She hesitant because he has that bad boy imagine going for him and her son’s Dad Shane is very similar look wise and she doesnt want to make the same mistakes she did when she was younger. Hanson struggles with opening up about his past upbringing and things he has seen. Which when a relationship starts getting serious and questions of his past are brought up he literally ends the relationship. He’s kinda a heart breaker with out realizing he is. Thea is looking for a reliable , responsible man. She has no chance because Hanson is will to charm her any way he can.

I loved how confident Hanson is and it didnt matter how man times she rejected him he didnt give up. Once she get to know Thea a little you realized she needed a man for wouldn’t given up . I love that through out this whole book Thea was did what was best for her son and talk to him about little things to make sure he was okay with the changes ,also just seeing such a strong bond between a mom and a son. It was one of my favorite things about this book . The story is fast pace and so easy to read. Right away your captivated because you want to know more about Hanson and his past and why his past effects his relationship and what happened that he so afraid to open up about it. There are some spicy moments and a lot of moments where i was swooning. I definitely need to go read the other couples story’s .

I was so excited to be back with the men and woman of the Birds Eye Tattoo Shop and Hanson Serrano and Thea James’s journey did not disappoint. I was drawn in from the first page and there was no putting down until I had read the final line.
Thea and Hanson meet when he starts to pick Ava (Hawkes stepdaughter) from school and from the moment they meet sparks fly but will the 6th grade teacher take a chance on the bad boy with tattoos and more importantly will the age gap have her and her son running in the opposite direction…..
Hanson may be the youngest member of the Birds Eye Tattoo Shop but that doesn’t make him any less of a man and when he realises he wants Thea and her son in his life he goes all out to win them over.
This is a wonderful addition to the series, it has characters you can’t help bonding with, it’s sweet yet steamy, it’s emotional yet entertaining but it was the kids who at times stole the show and my heart with their classic one liners only a child delivers well. A story with a swoon worthy hero and an adorable heroine that I highly recommend.

What a beautiful story and a fitting finale to the Birds Eye tattoo series. These guys and their partners have certainly warmed my heart throughout all the books.

This is the story of Hanson and how this cheeky, charmingly delicious Brazilian man finally gets his chance at a future filled with love and laughter.
Thea is a beautiful soul, an amazing mum to her son Ethan and no stranger to the occasional feelings of insecurity. Her first instincts, when faced with this handsome younger man’s advances is to not only be slightly suspicious but also completely flattered!
Can these two make it work or will Hanson’s secrecy and fears hold them back. Can the love and support of a beautifully strong lady be enough to show Hanson true happiness and gift them both the hea they deserve?

3.5 stelline

This was a cute story filled with adorable characters.

Thea was so funny, she made us laugh, we cracked up so many times at the thoughts she was having at any given times. Hanson loved his idea of courtship, especially when he delivered Thea flowers, I almost died laughing. Loved Ava and Hanson closeness friendship, their interactions with one another were so sweet. Ethan was so cute an adorable, and loved how supportive he was of his mom.

Overall, there were so many cute moments that Hanson and Thea had together, so many heart melting moments. With every relationship, there are challenges and Thea and Hanson had plenty but, their chemistry was awesome they light up around one another and were meant to be heartbreak is in their future but, love may just conquer all.

This is a series that I always go back to when I'm stuck in a reading hole. Kat's Bird's Eye series is the place I go to in my head when I think of a perfect life and family that you choose. Hanson broke me, then put me back together, then broke me again. This man had such a rough life. I don't think he could have found a better family than everyone from the shop. I'm glad he found his penguin and his happiness.

If you want love and redemption with a bit of spice thrown in, this is the book (and series) for you.

A great conclusion to a series I don’t want to end! Hanson is one of my favorite characters and Thea was great too! I love the interaction with all the other characters from the other books. I loved seeing how complex Hanson was and how special he made Thea feel. He treated her so well and made me wish for a love like that!

2.5 rounded up to 3. Definitely not as strong as the other reads in the series (I'm ignoring Blythe, which is also the other reason why this is rounded up - this one's definitely better that hot mess lead, and I can't wrap my head around them both being 2 stars).

Thea (h) is a single mom and middle school teacher, who meets Hanson (H), one of the artists at Bird's Eye when he starts walking the daughter of one of his coworkers to school. He's smitten at first sight. Unfortunately, she's incredibly gun shy about dating after a disastrous relationship before, and Hanson checks all her wariness boxes. Can he overcome her reluctance to persuade her to give him a chance, despite being younger and a 'bad boy' with secrets?

Hanson and his pebbles is so cute. He's determined to make an impression but not overwhelm her. Was he perfect? No. He was very self-sabotaging, and his freak-out and text dumping was low. But he was also raked across the coals by other characters to get his act together. Otherwise, I really liked him and his animal behavior geekiness (gee, wonder why?) Plus, an alpha romance lead open to journaling and therapy!

Thea, though, not as enjoyable. I totally get why she's cautious about relationships. However, she came off (to me, at least) as pathetic and kinda stupidly needy. She was so desperate to be in any relationship that for multiple chapters she was actively trying to convince herself to be in a relationship that she thought was "safe." Doesn't matter that she wasn't interested in him in any sense, had no connection, no spark, no interest in anything he talked about... He was who she "should" be dating. Came off as trying too hard. Add to the fact that she was sparking hard with Hanson and trying to talk herself into every date with Carl... She had her preconceived notions about people and about how life should go, and that's how things would be. For someone who worked with people, she made a lot of assumptions with little openness to reflection. She was not an enjoyable head to be inside.

Side point - what teacher answers texts in class?? Not during the school day. In. Class.

I also didn't like the treatment of Carl.

Best relationship in the whole book was Ava and Ethan and their middle school first crush.

Like all the other books in the series, mostly clean writing technically, but still with a handful of editing errors. Nothing so bad to really pull you out of the story for the most part, but still noticeable.

Alternating 1st person POV. No OW drama, and the OM drama with Thea's ex is really minor. Not really cheating or love triangle (Thea wasn't actually in a relationship with either, just "talking," I guess you'd say) but definitely too close for my comfort/enjoyment - part of what made her an unenjoyable character for me. A bit of a rushed pace due to the length of the story, but no cliffhangers and HEA for the leads (also for some of the leads from other books).

Would I read more in the series? Well, this is the last in the series, and I've read them all, so yeah. Good set of characters and enjoyable Found Family dynamics.

Would I read more from this author? Yes. This was an enjoyable series as a whole, good for a light distracting read without too much angst. Would be willing to give other series of hers a try.

Hanson Serrano is the man that we all wish we could find and Kat Savage gives him to us in a gripping and beautifully written book. Talk about the perfect book-boyfriend. Ms. Savage has a way of having your complete attention when yo9u read her books. From her writing style to the amazing storylines and plots, she has you so enthralled that you want to slow down in your reading so the story will last but you have to keep reading to find out what happens next.

Hanson is a strangers to lovers, single parent, dirty talking romance that is a must to read. Ms. Savage gives us Hanson, a Brazillian goddess that has his fair share of demons that has him seeing a therapist. As you get to know him, he is nothing but a caring and loving man that does have a kinky side that you cannot stop loving. Yes, he has had a rough childhood but he has made a great life for himself in the States. Meeting Thea, his "niece" Ava's teacher, he is taken back by her beauty but also her personality. Is she the one that will have him settling down? He is determined to try and show Thea that they would be perfect together. He pulls out all the stops to try and will her over but not in a conventional way. Hanson has a way of having your heart beating faster and melting your panties right off of you. He learns that trying to swoon, Thea is going to be a little harder but she is well the work.

Thea is a single parent to Ethan and is also very protective of her heart and her son. She was with Ethan's father but things went south fast and she ended up being on her own. When she meets Hanson, she is attracted to his bad boy look of him but knows that nothing can happen because of what has happened to her in the past. Hanson is younger than her and she thinks that he is still wanting to be out there having fun instead of being with an older woman with a son. When Hanson starts to try and sway her to go out by giving her gifts that are not exactly normal, she becomes more interested in him. Can she see that maybe Hanson is not like her ex but a man that is worth the time and love? When she lets him into her heart, she is taken back by the man that he is. She has never had anyone treat her with such caring and love as Hanson does.

The chemistry between is there right from the start but it takes Thea a while to see it. I loved how both Ethan and Ava wanted to see Thea and Hanson together and maybe gave them a little push. Hanson and Thea's story may have pushed Hawk and Drew out of first place in my heart. Ms. Savage had me loving the way that Hanson was the gentleman that Thea needed but she had no idea that he had it in him. I cannot say enough about this book. I am still feeling all the feels even after finishing the book a couple of days ago.
I highly recommend picking up this absolutely amazing book but make sure you have a good chunk of time to read it, as you will not want to put it down.

recensione a cura del blog "Libri Magnetici" by Anna R.

Usarlo come cuscino.

OMG Kat Savage never ceases to amaze me with The Men Of Bird’s Eye View Books. They all are absolutely amazing. Hanson was phenomenal and took my breath away. Kat Savage knows how to write insta love that gives you all sorts of feels and leaves you begging for more.

This is Hanson and Thea’s story and it definitely wasn’t an easy one. Hanson has a past that haunts him and could one day bring trouble to his door. But when he meets Thea, who is the tattoo shops Princess Ava’s teacher, he knows instantly that he must have her in his life forever. Thea has a son, Ethan, and he is her entire world but she also has a selfish deadbeat ex that’s a tattooed bad boy. So when she meets the incredibly handsome tattooed Brazilian named Hanson she can’t help but be instantly attracted to him. But her mind and her heart fight her body and knows she must stay away from him to protect herself from being hurt again. She rejects him when he asks her out but Hanson isn’t about to give up and he has every intention of winning her over and proving her wrong about the type of man she thinks he is.

This book will make you laugh, make you angry, and even give you teary eyed moments, but it will mostly have you feeling so much love. There are actually a couple different relationships that find a lil bit of a HEA in this book right along with Hanson and Thea. The sweetest of all is the crush between Ava and Ethan, they are just absolutely adorable. This is definitely a must read book if you love insta love books with tattooed Alpha Male Men!! Highly recommend this book!!

E possano i nuovi capitoli cominciare
all’insegna della bellezza.”

I fell inlove with this group of friends since the first story and it just glt better with each book. Hanson was another good one added to the list 😊

Thea James has had it with bad Boys. Being a single mother now all she wants issomeone stable, no bad boy vibes. So meeting Hanson was not good for her mental health 😂 Being attracted to him is not what she needs in her or her sons life. But getting to know him gives her a complete different look to this bad boy😏

Hanson is a tatto artist and his life is fine the way it is. When his friend Hawks mom has an accident and needs help he volunteers to pick uo his daughter at school. This is where he meets Thea James, single mom math teacher. But it seems its going to take alot for her to trust him. Not only because she labelled him as a bad boy but also because his younger than her... So he needs to bring out his best wooing moves to win her over...

I enjoyed how Hanson got under Thea's skin. From the first moment she met him she was attracted to him, but also qouldnt allow herself to see something happening between them. But Hanson wouldn't be deterred. I loved the humor the little bit of angst but mostly i enjoyed watching these two fall inlove💖 Sad that this series came to an end but looking foward to what is next for this author 😊

Hanson Serrano has been the elusive, quiet, unassuming tattoo artist at Bird's Eye. He keeps to himself, but will do just about anything for his Bird's Eye family, including helping Hawk and Drew out with picking up and dropping off Ava at school. Enter one Thea James, 6th grade math teacher. Divorced, single mother who is trying to keep her head above water while raising her sone Ethan. Hanson is instantly smitten and doesn't give up trying to woo her. She tries to resist...he represents the bad boy persona she wants to leave in the past and he's so much younger than her. None of that stops Hanson and he's successful until she asks the questions everyone wants answers to. It's the one thing he can't talk about even to his therapist.

Hanson and Thea was perfect for each other. She sees what's under the ink and likes the kind and compassionate person he his. When he realized that keeping things to himself was also preventing him from living life to its fullest, oh my heart. It was freeing and let him open his heart and soul to the one person who encouraged it...Thea. I have loved the other characters in this series, but Hanson moves up to the number one spot!

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

I have adored every man in the Men of Bird's Eye, they have all been strong and tough if not a little broken, but the wonderful journey to finding their HEA has been just a marvellous thing to read and non-more so than Hanson, our hunky younger Brazilian, he is fighting his own demons from the tragedy he left behind when he was a teenager in Brazil but Kat Savage drew us a picture of such a warm, caring man, and when he meets Thea the school teacher to Ava his surrogate niece by any other name and her young son Ethan, Hanson finally believes he has found the one, but convincing Thea of this is going to be difficult, if being a single mom with a difficult ex is hard enough, being 8 years younger than Thea is proving equally hard for her to come to terms with, but if anything Hanson is determined to win over this beautiful woman and make her his own.

Thea is attracted to Hanson, but she is older, she does have a son and she can feel the pain that Hanson keeps hidden, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and slowing Hanson gives Thea the key to his heart and his past. The chemistry in and out of the bedroom is again delivered in Kat Savage's perfect style as she once again produced a spell-binding must-read.
