The Undead Day Sixteen
The UK's best-selling zombie horror series
Now a best-selling audio book series on Audible
A new landscape was formed after the storm and with it the promise of a new beginning.
One race to dominate this land. One race to survive.

Words were uttered beneath the Saxon while Howie fought the undead.
Words that brought a whole new pressure.

To be relentless and unceasing. To charge forward and never give up. To do what it takes to survive.
That pressure was building and it became too much. Howie faltered, losing his mind as they ran through the fog and sought the doctors so desperately needed at the fort.

The final act was a simple one. A stubborn man spoke through an intercom at the munitions factory and his words sparked such a reaction in Howie that he fell apart in front of those who love him the most.

Never before have I got through so many books in one series without growing bored and giving up. This series is forever changing throwing more and more at us. That infection is one clever b*****d!! After so many days of lani being immune I’d forgotten how “pulled back” it had been on Darren in the beginning and forgot (much like the team) she may need watching. My heart was in my throat and I physically shouted NO at my screen when blowers was bitten but R R Haywood had me lulled into a false sense of security by the big reveal. I had to force myself to read the last 20% of the book, this author is growing in skill and imagination portraying the raw emotions we as humans can feel and the lengths people can go to when pushed to the absolute limit. Jagger being killed broke my heart again the authors writing shows not to judge a book by its cover and I’ve grown to love jagger and mo mo as they’ve grown in this book.

The first half of this book really had me questioning wtf was going on.
The dream state was bizarre and long winded. Plus the Greogri/boy storyline is incredibly dull… I just hope they are imporatant later on since so much time has been put into their story.

As soon as things were starting to get good, the book finishes. I enjoy this series and especially the characters, but this instalment was a let down for me.

Also there are STILL so many spelling, grammar and small inconsistencies which all factor into lowering the standard of the story telling. Thought this would have been resolved by book 16!

Okay

Day Sixteen was busy for the survivors but somehow the story drags on. The story is good and keeps me coming back for more but it takes so long to get through all the details. It's something about the characters that suck you in and have you wanting to see what will happen next. I was confused with the end of this part between Lani and Mr. Howie.. That was not good for me. The sex scene didn't fit and I felt like he should've been suffering emotionally instead of putting all faults on Lani. Still an okay read.

So far I have loved this series..... But this book was just kind of bland. The best part of this books is almost the end. It was jtsr getting really good again and boom end. I actually shouted No! I also have to say the phrase Billy Big legs is annoying. I guess it's common where the author is from but I've never heard it or read it before. I hate things that take me out of the story. I tried to look it up and Google was all 🤷🏼‍♀️. From the context in the sentence I can get it but still. This book made me almost want to stop reading.

Sci-Fi

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

There were quite a few inconsistencies in this book, which was a shame. They did make the plot confusing at times as the wrong character was named or the descriptions suddenly changed.

The pacing was ok but it did slow down at times. The plot itself did seem odd to me. Certain things that happened just didn't seem to make sense after everything else the characters had been through.

The ending was ok but I didn't like what happened to Lani.

I am totally addicted!

I think my brain has merged with this series! I can't stop reading and there is never a dull moment! It is simply the best series I have ever read! I sent a message to the author telling him so and was highly honoured that he wrote back! It was like saying hello to Howie, ha. I'm going to start Day 17 now so I don't have to time to hang around, I need to find out what is going on with the team now!

THE UNEAD DAY 16

Great reading and a adding of another chapter in the Undead series. With more of the team finding out they are immune too. Struggling hard to figure out exactly what that means as betrayal and loss of a loved member of the team rocks the Fort. I can honestly say that this is a series I'm happy to have found!

16 books in, and still twists and new story arcs a plenty.

I have one grievance with this book. A conversation between 2 women about how much they love wearing bras! Really?! It’s the zompocalypse FFS, think we can all give up the feckin torture devices known as the bra now! 😂

Otherwise another great read!

Good story, however......

Great story, however, the spelling, grammatical and typo errors really should’ve been picked up by now especially Book 16. Extremely frustrating.
