Don't miss the hell-raising conclusion of The Lynch Brother's trilogy!
Being in love with Romi definitely has its drawbacks, like the fact she’s incorporeal and literally disappears without warning. And the fact that she’s cursed and the only way to break the curse is to kill her father. I’ve been a pacifist my entire life, but now I’ll do whatever is necessary to save the woman I love. Several things suck about being cursed and mostly needing a steady supply of energy to be visible, bloody fights with demons who want to drag me back to Hell, not being able to kiss the man I love, my Fenton…and knowing it’s all my fault. Hell has Fenton on their radar, and I’ll risk anything—even my damaged soul—to save him.
**This book is the final novella (short story) in the series. It is NOT recommended as a standalone. It should be read after Hunting Witch Hazel and Threat of Raine.**
“A delightfully hell-raising ending to a funny, heartwarming trilogy.” – Elyssa Mann, 3BookGirls Podcast

I voluntarily reviewed an early copy of this book :) this is the third and final installment in the Lynch brothers series and you really should read the first two books before going into this one… it’s all very connected and even though there is a very handy guide at the beginning of this story reminding you about the most important characters and events I think you would benefit more having that previous knowledge… since this is the final book in a series, I can’t really talk about what exactly it’s all about, so let me say this… it’s a novella about a small town with paranormal vibes happening all around… it involves a unique group of friends and as always a phenomenal writing style by Heather Novak… I really wish the stories in this series were longer than novellas, cause there’s just sooo much potential in it, and I am always left wanting more… but it was a very good ending to the series, so what better time to inhale it in one sitting when all of the stories are available? :) happy reading
This is a m/f new adult paranormal romance, the third book in the series and should be read in order. My god, I love the little town of Hayvenwood; my only criticism would be that there are not more books in the town/series! Fenton and Romi are vibrant characters with real flaws, the most obvious being that Romi is a ghost! How does it work when the love of your life is not so corporal? There is a richness to the writing where you can tell that the author has felt with losing someone dear to them. I really hope this author writes more paranormal, not only do they have a gift for it, but they write in a way that actually makes me want to read it!
Dead Like Romi, the last book in the Lynch Brothers series, was the best out of all three books, in my opinion. It was the nice end to a quick, easy read, romance series. I still maintain this series pales in comparison to the author's other work - but it did help me finish my reading challenge! Rating: 4.25 Stars, Rounded to 4 Stars.
Just finished the 3rd book in The Lynch Brothers Series. I read them one after another. I loved these books. Now I am going in search of more books by Heather Novak.
Love, love, loved it. Dead Like Romi is the 3rd and final book in the Lynch Brothers series by Heather Novak and it is the perfect ending to the fun paranormal series.
This book is NOT a standalone and you really should read books 1& 2. (I know the author is nice and provides a catchup before the book starts but don't be Cheap mcCheaperson and jump to the end. You will miss out on the buildup for the finale.)
The story of Romi and Fenton is sweet you know, for a story about a witch ghost. These two characters have some heavy emotional baggage and literally (and figuratively) go to hell and back for their love. What a great ending to the series!
As I previously mentioned i like my paranormal a little light so these were perfect for me. Just enough detail to peak my interest but not too much that would overwhelm. I love how the characters captured my heart and made me binge the whole series. Totally worth the read!
What a very great ending to The Lynch Brothers Trilogy. Not sure which one of the them is my favourite though as I love them all.
As previously mentioned. I'm not a big fan of paranormal stories but these guys or maybe I should say the heroine in this book just captures my heart. Romi who is a ghost, who has not crossed over gave us a preview on book 2 as to why she has not kicks ass. In this book, They battle to stay alive and the way they went about it just makes me do a fist bump in the end.
I do recommend you read book 1 (Grayson and Hazels Story) first you you to fully understand and experience the thrill ride.
Oh Romi, my heart! Ms. Novak delivers again with an amazing wrap to an awesome trilogy!
Merged review:
Dead Like Romi is a sweet story of two people who find their lives, and love, in the dark swirling around them due to their guilt of things beyond their control. Ms. Novak hit it out of the park with this. She wrapped everything up with a nice little epilogue at the end, bringing a satisfactory ending to this trilogy. Love the scene with Loren and Fen with the therapist card and how normal Ms. Novak made it.
Do you know how much I wanna say, "this was a fun romp and everyone should read it"? while technically true this book is dark y'all. No jokes Hell.. jfc. Hell is literally nightmare fuel. The idea of it, this version of it, oof. The novella is well written and it has a pace that does not screw around. Once you're in buckle up. I am going to miss the Hayvenwood gang I really hope we get a few more callbacks in the future.
I was really excited to finally read the ending to this series. Romi has been one of my favorite characters from day one and I loved seeing more of her sass and spark. Looking forward to potentially reading more about their little town and family.
