COLDMYTH is book 3 in the Coldmaker series and the final book in the epic new trilogy by modern master Daniel A. Cohen. Micah, Shilah and Cam set fire to their oppressors in a bid to bring relief to their burning hot world and restore balance to the seasons as well as to society. But can an inventor, a warrior and a thinker upend the status quo against all odds and will the prophecies of a hero who lifts up the downtrodden come to pass? A tale of rebellion and of healing – of saviours and the cost of success, COLDMYTH roars to the finish through twists and turns that will leave you anything but cold.
Daniel A. Cohen is the author of DRAGONDAO, THE COLDMAKER SAGA, and numerous other novels and short stories. In addition to his writing career, Daniel is a professional saxophonist in Austin, Texas, spending his days in front of the page and his nights in front of crowds. Sometimes the crowds cheer, and Daniel often wishes the page would do the same.
My first impression of the ending of this fantastic trilogy was admittedly a little lackluster. However, I thought more about it and realised it's actually the perfect ending. This story could not have ended any other way and I applaud Cohen for guiding the story to such a brilliantly written conclusion that pervades surface appearances and really makes one think.
