We love the Mack Rhino series! They are perfect for young mystery fans. Even as an adult, I was charmed. The humor is so spot on, channeling that vintage detective vibe (think Dragnet and the like) but in a totally kid-appropriate way and the puns are so clever. The mysteries are gentle but still require a bit of thinking from young sleuths, and the illustrations add to fun. We've read all the books in the series and are eager for more!
