Some useful information, but I wish there was more of an organized principle-based approach rather than giving random pieces of advice based on stories from the author's past. Still worth a read.

Actually, I wanted "On Film Editing", but they didn't have that as an option. Anyway, that is the book that I read WAY back in a-b linear editing class that taught me how to edit. Indispensible intro book.
