Wife for Hire
Cole O’Donnell always wanted to be a hero.

Bailed on this one around the 5% mark. The hero came across as an immature jerk, wasn't really interested in read a story with that guy. Ironically the author introduced another character who came across as sympathic - now that guy I would have read a story about. Maybe the hero improved once he actually met the heroine. I don't know, life is too short, I wasn't going to continue reading on the hope he got better.

Hey, you can't believe what you read because he's not America's sweetheart; in fact, he's egotistical, self centered, & hated by everyone who actually knows him, which makes it virtually impossible to track down who's trying to KILL him...
So what's with the new impulse for putting himself between bullets & his Bodyguard?! Has he simply lost his mind or is he losing his heart?!
I was granted an ARC of "Wife for Hire: A BWWM Fake Wife Romance" by Cristina Grenier; while this is my 1st time reading her work, I found it well written & enjoyable. She offers a good balance between steady building Romance & intriguing drama with a touch of mystery to solve. I highly recommend her book as a One-Click favorite you'll read many times. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!

I enjoyed this book immensely even if Cole appeared to be a douchebag in the beginning. As the story progressed, I began to see that he was a deeper person than I originally thought. Violet was tough as nails and no-nonsense as well. But it was clear to me that Cole grew on her. There was a suspenseful element as well and I was surprised at who was trying to take down Cole. All in all, a great read! I voluntarily read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
Bonus Book~The Billionaire's Secret
Gillian sort of drove me crazy with her OCD..lol and Logan proved that he wasn't the cad Gilly thought he was. Interesting twist about his true identity. Fun read though.

Interesting take on two people coming together under false pretense.
Cole is an actor who has a huge attitude and is hated by most. He is a man whore and he is rather entitled.
Violet is a bounty hunter who agrees to help Cole stay alive when someone tries to kill him.
These two are thrown together and as the twist and suspense of who is trying to kill him builds, they find themselves attracted to each other.
Violet doesn't trust herself or Cole since she'said been burnt before.
Read how two people who didn't get that warm loving feeling from their parents find it in each other.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.

Wow, this was good to me!! Violet is a warrior princess :), she brings the total man out of Cole. With her as his fake-wife, he automatically steps into his alpha. As the danger level rises, they perfectly fall in sync. Denying their attraction in close proximity is impossible. I like Violet because she is bold enough to not only protect him but also brave enough to come to terms with her attraction to him realizing his reputation...very realistic example of what a man will do if he really loves a woman. Engrossing tale, full of action as the puzzle pieces pull together the mystery, revealing betrayal and opening hearts to love.

Cole is a popular actor, and and Violet, a bounty hunter. Their orbits wouldn't normally cross, but they to when it's discover that Cole's life is in danger. From the very first there is an attraction and chemistry that pulls them together. As Violet works to keep Cole safe, their connection is building. Their love grows, but we get a real wow of an ending as things come together and they mystery is solved. It's a must-read for sure and I highly recommend this book, and have enjoyed several books by this author in the past. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

This book is truly wonderful, the characters and the storyline are so well written that they're lifelike. And to top that off. This is the first I've ever read anything from this author. I've even read the bonus book, something that I don't usually do. But I was compelled by Wife for Hire, that I continued reading.
I am looking forward to seeing more from this author in the very near future.

The best way I can describe my experience with Wife For Hire is struggle. I am generally one to finish what I started. Unfortunately for me, I pushed through to finish, also unfortunately for me, I didn’t enjoy it very much. The saving grace was the potential behind the book. It just seemed to try too hard. Too scheme-y? I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

I finished the book within the same day but I can’t say it had me breathless with anticipation. There were a few grammar errors which can be easily fixed but it made me pause and squint for a second and the stories seemed a bit abrupt with their endings. Plus there were hints of something’s in Violets past and unless I flipped by it, it was never mentioned so I felt like I couldn’t connect.

A really good story to read!
This book had me guessing so many times as to who could behind killing Logan and Jess,all of the times when Cole's life was in jeopardy. I love that Cole and Violet. It was sad how Michael didn't make it. I still don't have an answer as to what Karen got in the whole Sean's plan to kill Cole and frame his wife so he could get the company and the money.

Okay...this story just didn’t work for me. The storyline had potential; however, the characters really seemed more like cartoon characters. Everything seemed to be just a bit contrived...read more like a comic book.
Hopefully others will enjoy the story a lot more than me. 😐 (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and just didn’t care for it....)

I personally found this book quite boring for me. It took a really long time for me to get into the book at all and then I thought the story fell flat. Now that I said that, it doesn't mean that this book isn't for you. Please read all the reviews as well as the synopsis to see if this book is for you.

I enjoyed the different take on a Love story. He (Cole) was the beautiful spoiled Diva and she (Violet) was the strong, smart badass bodyguard hired to protect him and resolve the murder attempts on his life. They both had childhood issues to work on , but they accepted each other and had an HEA. A different type of Love story

Such an adventurous story. Cole has a deranged stalker on his hands and has to hire Violet after his stunt double is killed in his car. The difficulties of trying to find out who was hiring the men out to kill him is stressing everyone out. It’s hinestly the last person I would have expected. Great read! I’m voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

I truly enjoyed this book! The characters In my opinion are flawed like real people, which adds depth to them. I'm not really good at writing these reviews, so I don't write many, but I had to leave one recommending this book to others. Nice short story, full of good humor... Violet, is beautiful,smart,intelligent ,tough and a thrill junkie... Take no B.S. Kind of girl. Can't help loving her! And, Cole obviously couldn't resist her. ..

Okay read
It was an okay read. I'm glad I didn't pay for it. I have a few of her books and they usually have me on the edge but this fell flat to me. Had to put it down several times.

Violet and Cole
These two were something else. Violet might have seemed small but she sure could kick some booty! Cole was big sorta clumsy but funny too and she was just what he needed to give him backbone. Wish I could read more about these two!

This is an intriguing story about an actor named Cole and a bodyguard named Violet . They teamed up as an engaged couple to throw off whoever was trying to kill Cole.. They ended up falling in love and being together in the end.
