Kiawe (key-ah-way) & Saniyah grew up together. They never saw each other as more than brother and sister until Saniyah is hit with a bullet that’s meant for Kiawe. The two of them start exploring the thought of being together until a bomb explodes around them big enough to end their relationship before it begins.
Tyson’s been trying to get Selena for years, but she kept running from him. Selena’s battling demons and thinks a bottle is the only thing that can heal her pain. When Selena’s drinking starts getting out of hand, she loses grip and realizes Tyson maybe the only person that can bring her back to reality, that is if she doesn’t go too far over the edge first.
Not only are Kiawe and Tyson trying to get a handle on their personal lives but their street affairs as well. With an enemy in the shadows, the boys are constantly watching their back. When their enemy finally decides to make his move someone close to the boys pay, with their life.
These four are about to take you on a rollercoaster ride full of drama, love, and tears. Find out if they can handle the pressure or will they crumble.

Really! I think it’s more to the story with Niyah and Kiawe dads. I’m really going to need Selena to get some help! I think Jerod is someone they know. This book most definitely is keeping me on my toes. I so can’t wait for part 2! You did that
Ricky was dumb and clearly thought he was untouchable. I wasn't expecting that bomb from Kiawe's mom but she was definitely getting on my nerves. Selena needed help and fast because her past was destroying her more than she realized. Opening up to Tyson was a start but she needed to slow down on all the extra stuff. I hope Tyson reaches Selena before it's too late. I'm hoping Kiawe gets Saniyah right so she isn't so dependent on the hustle that could get her caught up. I loved their relationship and was waiting for them to go to the next level. Man Vita was a trip but I loved her personality. I just feel like she's going to want go slap Kiawe's momma. Lawd Shayla has some explaining to do. Hopefully I'll he able to start part 2 later because I'm ready to see what will happen next and it Jerod finally gets what he deserves.
Damn Ricky got caught slippin thinking he was untouchable. I don’t get the one chapter from Hudson but maybe we get more of him in book 2.
Selena was a mess, I felt bad for the trauma she experienced as a child but as an adult she’s choosing to be an addict like her parents only her vice is alcohol instead of crack. Now she’s gone too far and I hope Tyson can make it to her in time to save her.
Vita is a hot ass mess and I love her 🤷🏽♀️ lol
Saniyah and Kiawe 😍 had chemistry that they both denied everyone else could see it too, finally they act on it now they are friends turned lovers but still haven’t put a title on their situation. After the bomb that Kiawe’s mom dropped on them I wonder if they can move forward. Anxious to see how part 2 plays out.
I'm obsessed with all the characters, I just know things are about to change with Kiawe and Niyah, then Tyson about to find Selena hopefully still intact and Hudson and Shayla babyeee I need more of them. Ricky knew what time it was I was not surprised. Things I need to see in book two is less stealing and more hair doing for Niyah. Less drinking for Selena and her sitting on a therapists couch. I also need Tyson to get a DNA test, and Kiawe to stop messing with Ayesha because that won't end well for him.
Ricky would NOT listen and it cost him way more than he wanted to pay!!!… This book was definitely good and I can NOT wait to start Part 2!!!.. Jerod knows the streets are not safe for him now because he crossed a line he can not come back from!!!… Kiawe is about to wild out for his ppl for sure and I’m sure he’s going to be working to make sure his momma and Saniyah is good!!!… My heart broke for Selena!!!…I hope someone gets her some help and fast!!!…
Suspenseful and entertaining. Niyah and her mother are a little too ratchet. I want Niyah to stop with all of the petty theft and get her life together. Kawaey mother is a trip. She definitely dropped a bomb on them. Can’t wait to see how they handle it. I feel so sorry for Selena, she’s in some serious pain.
Welp Ricky wrote a check his ass couldn't cash, got caught slipping thinking he was invisible and it cost him his life😔
I swear I feel like Saniyah ex situationship ol shady ass and one of his boys kicked in Kiawe door, stole his money and watch. I could be wrong but we'll see what book 2 says🤷🏽
Serena😔. My heart broke for her and the trauma her parents caused and the demons from her past that was slowly eating her alive. All that drinking finally caught up to her, I just pray Tyson gets there in time to save her.
Saniyah & Kiawe were besties turned lovers, are just trying to navigate through life and come to terms with these feelings they've developed for each other. His momma can't stand her parents or her but never tells him why🙄. Then she finally drops that bomb at the and😳🤦🏾.
Now THATS how you start a series!! Vita is a whole mess but I love her energy. I hope that Aniyah grows up more, she still behaves like she’s in high school sometimes. Vita too 🤣🤣. Then there’s Selena 😩, sis please talk to someone. Im on to the next book because these cliffhangers got me.
I liked this book. There were a few surprises and I can't wait to see how this all plays out. The romance wasn't typical. It left you wanting to explore the characters’ romances.
I knew when Ricky got comfortable Jerod was gonna come after him and now look.....he's gone because he felt like he was untouchable smh. I know the Kiawe and Tyson are gonna flip once they find out the news, but I don't know how they'll feel since Rick initiated the war in the first place. Saniyah and Kiawe are so cute together but both have alot of growing to do. I hope she does stop boosting and take try to enroll in cosmetology school or something. Selena lawd that girl has been through the most as a child and I feel so sorry for her because she's fighting demons and reliving through nightmares of what her parents did to her, now with her house catching fire due to he being intoxicated I wonder how Tyson is gonna feel......I just hope he makes it to her in time. Hudson seems to keep a low profile, but I don't know why I feel like something's not right with Shayla who he met at the bar. I do hope that she's not on anything sneaky 🤦🏽♀️. Great read Tay ❤
I really like Saniyah and Kiawi. He seems to really be her speed and 10 times better than Rydell but will the sins of their fathers stop their relationship before it can truly begin to sprout? My heart goes out to Selena. She is still wrestling with the pain from molestation and trying to cope with it. Tyson wants to be there for her but with a baby mama like Felicia and the drama in the streets can he really support her? I have a feeling Shay Shay and Hudson will meet again! Great start to a sure to be dope series!
Oooh why did you have to end it like that😩 Now I’m stressed out waiting for part 2! I love how Kiawe and Saniyah’s relationship developed and I know they’re strong enough to get past the bomb that kiawe’s mom dropped on them. Poor Salena...she’s had such a hard life and I wish that she would’ve let Trevor be there for her. Hopefully he makes it in time to save her. Idek what to say about Vita except for she’s crazy and I love her! Can’t wait for part 2
Ricky was really stupid thinking nothing was going to happen to him. He should have played low like the rest of his team. I hope by Kiawe finding out that Saniyah's dad killed his dad won't change anything between them hopefully there's a good reason behind it all that his mom hasn't explained. Selena is going to end up killing herself if she don't get a handle on her drinking hopefully she makes it out of the fire ok and get some help.
This series is gonna be lit. I see my girl is going through some thangs. I hope ol boy momma was lying. See ricky was doing way too much and it caught up with him I hope he didn’t die but that’s very slim to none. U did good on yet another book and I’m looking forward to reading more of ur books. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting on the next book to read
I feel bad for Saniyah & Ki, what will come of their relationship now. Selena, has so many demons. She has to open up to getting help! Ricky was dealt with, he just wouldn't listen. Hudson& Jerod I think is the same person, in any case it will be interesting when Shayla is back on the scene. Tyson is a good dude and cares about Selena, I hope that Felicia is having his baby otherwise that will be a big blow!
I pray that Tyson gets to Selena before it's too late and she'll realize that she needs help. I can't understand why Kiawe's mother has a problem with Saniyah because she can't be blamed for what her father did. I hope Kiawe doesn't treat Saniyah any different because of what his mother said. Waiting to read part two!
I really enjoyed part one so much went on that had me turning the pages for more. I so glad I decided to wait to read part one and 2 at one time because you will not want to put it down once you start it’s just that good.. The storyline and cover in itself is good! The author delivered and I must say I was pleased!
This series is gone be bomb! Everything bout this book was amazing.i hope Selena is ok... I got a feeling Hudson slept with Ricky wife.Hopefully Kiawe and Niyah over come this family secret
This book was so good and I can't wait for part 2. Ricky was to cocky and he paid for it. I like Ki and Tyson. I hope Selena get the help she needs. I'm sure Ki and Niya are just shocked to hear what his mom said. We'll see how this turns out. Great read
I love the friendship between Saniyah and Selena. I hope Selena opens up more and gets the help she needs. Tyson is good for her. Saniyah and Kiawe were good for each other too. I hope they work out. I hope Ricky is good.
Tay Mo'Nae knows how to tell a story and keep you interested. I hope Kiawe doesn't let what his mom revealed stop him from pursuing Saniyah. Selena needs to let Tyson in, I feel he'd help her. Ricky was too reckless. I can't wait to see what's next.
Ricky was just too messy, we saw that coming. Poor Selena has been through so much, I hope she is ok. I love a story that is based off of best friends turned lovers. Can’t wait to see what happens next.
I just love your writing tactics. I enjoyed this to the max but that bomb that dropped about saniyah’s dad took the cake. This was great and the way you leave books on cliffhangers just does something to me.
