La verdad que sin palabras.
Comenzamos con una nueva fase en las aventuras de Emma y Ray. Goldy Point, esa aparente tierra prometida, encierra algo más que seres humanos.
Sinceramente: no me lo vi venir. No estaba en absoluto preparado para este nuevo juego macabro de parte de los demonios. Sigo quedándome de piedra con cada nuevo giro que aparece de repente sin saber por dónde ha venido. Qué maestría del manejo de la información.
Goldy Point no es lo que Emma esperaba. Es, sin lugar a dudas, un infierno. Los demonios cazan a los humanos como si se tratara de Los Juegos del Hambre, con sus normas y sus pruebas de supervivencia casi diarias.
Sin embargo, Emma no es la única humana capaz de analizar y formar un plan. Es por eso que conocemos nuevos personajes que podrían hacerle sombra, y sobre todo, conocemos nuevas tramas e historia del mundo de The Promised Neverland que nos va ayudando a entender lo que ocurre.
En cuanto lo acabé pensé que era el mejor tomo hasta el momento, algo que llevo diciendo desde hace unas cuantas entregas. Sin embargo, al momento de escribir estas líneas, ya he terminado el tomo 9 y el honor se lo lleva este último.

The first half was only okay, I was getting tired of their travels and wild demons.
BUT the second half!!!
Hunger Games much! Amazing.
And of course, the cliff hanger. So good. You know I keep thinking that Norman will show up..... *cries silently in the corner*

Vaya, si antes se podía sentir el peligro en el ambiente, ahora todo está multiplicado al mil. Los demonios al acecho y la caza tomada como un simple juego que llega a aburrir en su monotonía. El manga va tomando un tono más oscuro para los personajes y se me hace imposible no querer proteger a todos esos niños.

GOLDY POND!
While this a side-quest that doesn't necessarily move forward the base plot, it's a damn good time. I normally hate off-shoots to the story but this is an exception.
An amusement park for demon's to hunt children? What a wild concept. I loved it.

چیزی که این مانگا رو خاص می کنه و در واقع راه فرارش از تکراری شدنه، جهان سازی گستردشه. جهانی که نورلند به تصویر کشیده به قدری غنی و آماده پرداخته شدنه که می شه از گوشه گوشه اش یه ولوم مانگا نوشت. بعد سیاسی،تاریخی،مذهبی،اخلاقی،هیجانی،علمی و هولی شت همه چیز خیلی هست! همین باعث می شه نورلند بتونه هی مانور بده و خسته کننده نشه.

The Premise
The Promised Neverland vol 8 brings back the twists, the crazy quick thinking and shocking reveals!! Geezer accepts that he will have to lead Emma and Ray to "the spot" but that doesn't mean he has to be nice about it and he takes them deep into a danger zone and leaves them hanging. Ray does the best he can but Emma finds herself in... Yeah SPOILERS, so I'm not going to tell you but this volume is so action packed and stunning and YOU MUST READ IT!
The Buzz
We learn the connection between Mr. Minerva, Geezer, this location, everything in The Promised Neverland vol 8 and its incredible! The situation can NOT get any worse (can it?!) and yet I believe in Emma and Ray. I can't say more because spoilers, but yeah, yeah, YEAH! Emma is the one in the hot seat this time and boy does she pick her moments! Her choices, her words, her determination. She slays me! This is what we want to read, its exciting, full of heartache and strumming with tension. If you haven't started this series yet... this volume is well worth starting NOW!
The Feels
Emma always shocks and wows me with her desire to believe in humanity. She's seen the darkest of the dark... her history with Mother, Norman, Ray even its majorly dark... And yet she believes and will not allow anyone's choices to deter her from doing what she believes will save even one person... Even if that threatens her own life and is for a person like Geezer! I admit I was TOTALLY swayed by her words in The Promised Neverland vol 8. And after all she and Ray were forced to survive due to Geezer...
The Visuals
The sudden location change totally in The Promised Neverland vol 8 floored me and I admit that I was immediately hooked. We meet a certain demon who is quite magnificent... I loved his personality, motivation and character design! And we meet a slew of other new characters that I can't wait to get to know better. It floors me how Posuka Demizu makes each and every demon, child and person stand out and up. And I'm loving the quick location changes!
The Promised Neverland vol 8 is a total payoff! I loved the start to this series and I fell for Emma, Ray and Norman... but this volume keeps my love growing. If you can believe it the series is even better with all the demons running loose and I can only guess its going to get even more intense, mysterious and smart in... The Promised Neverland!!

É DISSO QUE EU TO FALANDO, CARALHO!! Eu quero MUITO que esse arco se estenda por alguns volumes, porque a quantidade de caminhos que isso pode tomar, novos personagens, novas descobertas - E ESSE CENÁRIO!

This volume makes an abrupt turn from the anime plot line. Halfway through the story, there is a pretty big plot twist that I really enjoyed! Very excited to see where the story goes from here since this will now be new material for me.

At the start of this volume was getting little worried we weren't going to do anything new but then the second half kicked in.
The first half is more surviving and it's great to see Emma stick up for herself and show how much she cares for people. But then when a kidnapping happens we get thrown into a WHOLE new group of people and things get very interesting. When kids get hunted, not to survive, but for game, everything gets turned up to 11. Kills are vicious, demons are scary, and time is running out.
A far stronger volume than the last. Filled with great action moments, drama, and emotional bits. A ending that got me excited and worried at the same time. This is what Promised Neverland is ALL about baby. A 4 out of 5.

Ufff... ¿Cuándo terminará el sufrimiento?
Emma, Ray, y el adulto que conocemos únicamente como "el señor" emprenden un viaje hacia la ubicación final de las indicaciones de Minerva. Pero lo que debería ser un refugio o el pasaje hacia un sitio seguro resulta ser la cumbre de los horrores.
Aclaro de entrada que hay spoilers: si no quieren saber nada, dejen de leer en el acto.
"Goldy pond" es en realidad un coto de caza, un sitio donde los demonios-al menos, los más arrogantes y malcriados miembros de la nobleza-se divierten cazando niños por deporte. Sí, tal y como lo leen. Es curioso, yo pensaba que a estas alturas el manga no podía shockearnos más: ¿Qué puede ser más terrible que ser criado para el matadero? Pero no, hay cosas más terribles: ser cazado por deporte por unos sádicos degenerados que, de ser humanos, parecerían dignos personajes de un film como "Sodoma y Gomorra".
¿Cómo saldrá Emma de ésta? Muy buena pregunta. Por lo pronto, tengo ganas de que alguien les meta un plomo a los demonios entre ceja y ceja (no tienen cejas, pero se entiende la idea).

Tu pensi che la storia non possa avere nuovi colpi di scena o qualcosa di impatto e invece... the Promised Neverland stupisce sempre! Un ottavo capitolo bellissimo e coinvolgente, pieno di sorprese e nuove scoperte... e soprattutto nuovi personaggi! Adoro Violet, e gli altri mi ispirano molto... e Adam poi??? 👀

V tento moment prozatím s touto mangou končím. Cítím na sobě už po dobu několika dílů, že veškerá zvědavost a to, co by mě mělo k příběhu táhnout, prostě vymizelo. Jsem v bodě, kdy je mi to zkrátka a dobře jedno.

Every voume I read always makes me want the next one immediately! I loved meeting new characters in this one AND the big secret. Also, idk why but I'm picking up weird vibes from the secret person and whether or not Emma should trust them with unlocking the door. Still hoping for a return from Norman...
