This was a very enjoyable story. I liked both Alexa and Zeke and liked seeing them get together and all.
Alexa is a lion shifter and works as a bodyguard for Nick, her cousin. Alexa had a problem when she was younger that kept her from being interested in relationships, normally. She's surprised and a bit alarmed when she's assigned to guard Zeke and her lioness keeps insisting he's her mate.
Zeke is a human scientists that is geeky as they come but wishes things were different. Zeke developed a serum with shifter DNA, in an effort to cure diseases (the same serum that turned Knox into a shifter in the pervious book). Unfortunately, Zeke doesn't know why the serum worked on Knox and is having issues replicating it.
Alexa is assigned to Zeke as a bodyguard and as soon as they meet, her lioness is convinced that he's her mate. Shifters don't usually mate with humans though, as it can be dangerous because of the risk of a shifter unintentionally causing harm by not being able to control their strength (particularly in intimate situations). She's trying to figure out what to do when the shit hits the fan and people start trying to kill Zeke. This leads to the near-death situation that prompts Zeke to have Alexa inject him with the experimental serum, which changes a lot. Zeke and Alexa have deal with the changes in him as well as figure out their relationship and figure out who's after them...so there's a lot going on. By the end of the story, everything has been worked out nicely and Zeke and Alexa are headed towards a HEA.
This was a very enjoyable story. Alexa was a really good heroin...bad ass without being overbearing. Zeke was a good hero...he had some minor issues a first due to his weakling status at first but once those got worked out, he was just about perfect. Overall, this was a very good story with characters I liked so I'd recommend it. :)

Alpha Geek: Zeke is the follow up book to Alpha Geek. In this book we follow lion shifter Alexa Milan & human Zeke Tristone fight their way to happily ever after.
Alexa has been working for her cousin Nick’s security business as a bodyguard since high school. When things go sideways on an assignment, Nick decides to send her to guard Zeke Tristone, the scientist that helped to save his sister’s mate, Knox. She wasn’t happy to be assigned to babysit. How could she have known the human would be her mate?
Zeke has been working on the formula he used on Knox, but hasn’t gotten any further toward his goal. Every combination he tried had failed since the one that saved Knox, but he had to keep trying. But it seemed like someone else wanted his work, too. He’s had Nick’s security agency working on finding out who but there’s been no luck so far. Then Nick sends his gorgeous cousin to guard him & suddenly Zeke only has eyes for her. But can she protect him when the bad guys decide to make their move?
I was of two minds about this latest Geek story. I loved the original book & really wanted another one like it, but was a little worried that it wouldn’t live up to Alpha Geek. I shouldn’t have been worried at all. Tho Knox will always be my favorite alpha geek, Zeke gave him a run for the money. This latest geeky hero has it all. He’s smart, strong & oh so sexy. Alexa’s character is great, too. The right combination of strong & vulnerable. The story line has a nice little twist & kept my interest nicely. All in all, it looks like another case of Alpha Geek love at first sight for me.

Bodyguarding might not be Alexa's best choice for a career. Her cousin owned the company and she was a shifter so things worked out that way. Unfortunately, holding back her frustration didn't always work out. Abusing the client when they got too mouthy or their actions called for it just didn't work. Giving her another chance, her cousin, assigned her to a geeky human scientist. What could possibly go wrong there?
You're going to have to read to find out. I will tell you that being hot for your client has plenty of problems too.
I love this couple with their own issues that work them out together. Zeke has some surprises for Alexa and she has some fun in store for him. Both are fun characters that are not your usual shifter romance characters.
I really love these short romance with some twists and intrigue and bad guys to boot. It's a nice break from longer stories, yet still with all of the parts that make it such a pleasure to read.

Milly Taiden one of my favorite authors her talent to weave a story off the charts evidence can be read in her newest book Alpha Geek: Zeke. Get it, grab it, read it.
A sexy security person has had her fill of the rich, winey and I'm so important clients, she finds herself hard-pressed to keep from strangling most of them. She has a whole new perception of what 'body'guard means when her next client is a drop-dead gorgeous scientist, yeah she wants to guard his body alright.
Alexa sassy and brassy loved her. Zeke well when you say go big or go home. Damn, right. Fun and amazing chemistry between Alexa and Zeke. I found myself laughing quite a bit thanks to Alexa, Zeke is hot and charming and has his eyes set on the prize.
I love a story that keeps me smiling, Zeke and Alexa did that. The wordplay, the hot scenes, and the drama made for a great story. Enjoy

This book is a good follow on from the original Alpha Geek, which is now Alpha Geek - Knox.
Though I loved the story and characters. I have to say this book needed smoothing out, another read through and tidy up. A bit jerky in places and too many proofing errors missed.
It was easy to know who the baddie was but that didn’t detract from the overall story.
Did find it strange that Alexa, being a trained bodyguard and shifter lioness, was taken down and unable to defend herself by a human.
Loved how Marie played into this.
Hoping we get another story with Marie and Brent maybe.

Alexa and Zekes story was seriously just so amazing and I completely fell in love with these two. This is the second book in the Alpha Geek series and it was just as great as the first. Zeke needs to be protected because of what he's working on and people are after him which is something he resents because he doesn't like feeling weak. Alexa is assigned to be his bodyguard and as soon as she walks in she knows he's her mate. Now they have to work together to figure out who us after him and to learn to control in inner beasts who want nothing more than to claim their mate. I really, really love this series.

This is Zeke and Alexa's story . Alexa is fed up with dealing the the PITA singer and boy oh boy does he go to far and tick her off !! Zeke is a scientist who no matter what he does to improve himself it just doesn't happen . He was able to help one of his best friends to get better and now wants to see what else he can do . Alexa is sent to Zeke to protect him but what happens when these two go out for a bite ??!! From here this one takes off ! I could not read it fast enough there is so much happening and it is written in such a way that you feel you are right there ! Danger , drama and more follow ! This is well written and recommended to all !!

Enjoyed this book. Zeke felt like a skinny brilliant nerd and Alexa was his tough as nails shifter body guard. Right away they both secretly wanted each other but she knew she would tear him apart because of her shifter strength. Zeke has a target on his back because of his research and after an incident Alexa must use Zeke’s samples on him. He becomes a shifter of many different animals. This book is hot and intense. Who is behind hurting Zeke? Another great shifter story that gives you connection, chemistry, steam, drama and shifters

Amazing! I've volunteered to review this book. I love reading books from Milly Taiden. This is the second book in the Alpha Geek series. Alexa and Zekes story was seriously just so amazing and I completely fell in love with these two. Alexa is assigned to protect Zeke. Zeke is a geeky human scientist. You will love her characters and the way her stories simply captivate you. Page after page you become consumed and cant put the book down. This story has it all funny, emotional, suspenseful and HOT! This is the second book in the Alpha Geek series and each one can be read as a stand alone but if you have read Milly Taiden's books you know read all the books in the series to get the wonderful FULL Explosions of the stories. I loved this book. It was so different than your normal "shifter" reads. This one is a fun romantic book in the Milly Taiden type of way. Alexa and Zeke's story is one that I will be reading again and one that is oh so much fun to read. I highly recommend this series and can't wait til the next book comes out.

Well now she gets to be bodyguard to scientist, a geek and she hates it, till she meets him. When her eyes land on him, there is one thing on her mind "Mine", he is her mate. The cast of characters in this book was great. You have the tough bodyguard Alexa whose lioness immediately know Nick is her fated mate; Zeke, the geeky nerd scientist who has someone trying to kill him and has a few surprises in store for everyone; and Nick, Alexa's cousin and boss who is a loyal friend and relative. I love Milly Taiden's books. The stories, like this one, tend to have a bit of humor in them, some steam and true love. I can't wait for her next release.

Hot Sexy Shifter Romance
I liked this second book in this series even more than the first one. This is hot, sexy and funny and have sweet love and some action as well. There could have been even more action to my liking than there is. The plot is pretty similar as that of the first book. This was a fast and fun read. I'm looking forward to another one, for example Brent or Marie's story.

I loved this book it was full of snark which made me giggle no end i loved the hot romance and Zeke and Alexa are everything total opposites but just everything together.
Whilst i adored this book and the author is one of my favourites i guessed who was the bad guy super quickly.

From Geekness to hotness
This book was worth the wait! The author has managed to bring us another geeky hero who morphed into the perfect male specimen. She brought some of the characters from the first book and introduced us to more. I can’t wait to read the next book, I hope we won’t have to wait as long for it.

Aww even Geeks get their day! Tremendously sweet story of opposites attract when it's truly skin deep. Zeke proves he doesn't need a animal within to know Alexa is for him... but life throws that curve ball when someone is trying to get him killed and he needs said Shifter girl to protect it.

Just like Knox’s story, this was such a fun and cute and kinda steamy read. Zeke who we met saving Knox’s life before, now has his story. Hehehe. Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Once a geek always a geek!

Alpha Geek is my absolute favorite book so far by Milly Taiden. I love her witty characters and thr way her stories simply captivate you. Page after page you become consumed and cant put the book down (not that you would want to).

his was a amazing adventure. Alexa and Zeke Are amazing characters Alexa is a bodyguard and Zeke is a geek and her mate. This storyline was interesting and full of adventure and romance. Milly has done it again. Loved this story.

I loved Alexa and Zeke's story. It had everything you could hope for funny, emotional, suspenseful and HOT..This story had me hooked from beginning to end absolutely adored these characters.. Definitely worth the wait..

I love stories about makeovers whether it’s the girl or the guy. They are always fun and interesting to read. Zeke was a cutie with a pure heart. Loved it.

Alexa Milan, a lioness shifter, works for her cousin Nick's security company. She protects rock stars, millionaires, etc. from danger. After a traumatic experience when Alexa was only 16 years old, she stopped being an honor student and have up her dreams of college.
She's locked down her emotions well, but she still gets panic attacks once in a while. She has a hard time trusting men and letting down her guard.
When she's assigned to protect a scientist, Zeke, her lioness recognizes her mate in the human. Shifters are dangerous to humans when it comes to sex; they can literally break their bones without even trying to.
The first time saw Lex in a picture protecting a celebrity, he was hooked. When she showed up to protect him a few days later, he wants her more than ever. He's self conscious because he's skinny and his body refuses to gain weight. Knowing that she's a shifter, he knows a skinny, geek scientist would never appeal to her; boy is he wrong!
Zeke saved Knox when he was dying by injecting him with something he'd been working on for a long time. He turned his friend into a multi-shifter, several animals live in his body.
