Outstanding series

Have read 1-11 and haven't stopped in the last two weeks, one of the best series I've read in years, knocks all other ZA books (and most other series I've recently read) out of the water, enthralling. Will review 1-11 when I finish (too impatient to read each new instalment or would have done so already!). Highly recommend

In times of war and peace you lose people you like or love, but I sure hate to see it in stories I'm following. That being said you have to appreciate this story filled with drama and sometimes returing characters. However, Patton hasn't figured out how to revive those who receive head shots. Can't wait to see this "bad" get his just rewards!

REMEMBER AND FIGHT

The war is on full scale. Major Chase is with his friends at CONUS and fighting from different sides. Igor is helping with all.

Lives are lost in the war but, many aren't warriors but, Militias who try to fend for themselves and taking people as slaves. Keep turning pages, is worth it...

Another shocking ending!!! I should be used to them by now, but I am not! Everything about this book was fast-paced! I appreciate all the ups and downs. The losses this time, just like in all the previous books, really hit me. Dirk brings out my emotions - BIG TIME! Read this series, you will not regret it.

Fulcrum is Great!

This is another great instalment of Dirk Patton’s post apocalyptic zombie series. We see the Major with his crew trying to rescue a navy pilot who crashed into the waters off Baka, Mexico. Also seen are the military trying to hold off an entire navy of Russia as it heads fro Hawaii. The events are exciting and often wonder ours. I highly recommend this book.

Awesome

Action packed with a few twists and some humor thrown in. I can't stop reading. I almost want to slow down so I don't finish the series so quickly. Oh well, on to the next installment!

Fulcrum and the V Plague series

The V Plague books hold your attention until the very last word. By now, if you are anything like me, you think of the characters as close to family as they can get. Now, you have to see what happens to them. Through all the bad luck, the good fortune, and the sadness of losing someone. There is the knowledge that no matter what happens, you still have to know where it all leads and you are greatful for that knowldge. I'm not much for writing reviews, but this series is one I can't stop reading. The details you get paints a great picture in you mind, so you can literally follow along with the story. This story is one that grabs your attention and you don't want to stop until you have finished it. I'm not too sensitive, but this ending really caused a whirl if emotions in me. The bad news is I have to wait to read the next one. If you are looking for a great series to start, this would be it. I can't describe how much I really enjoyed it. Minus the crying I did throughout the story , starting with the first scene. I love, love, love this series. The author has written another excellent read and I can't wait for the next one. Thank you so much Dirk Patton!!

I really have enjoyed this series. It's a different take on zombies and what could make them. This re-introduction of cold war enemies is interesting. Really enjoy reading about John and his friends ... and DOG! Love Dog. Every time I finish a book I want the next one now. The series is written in serial format and now, at 12 books in (with the first few in audio) it's great - unless you're caught up. I'm not sure the expected number in the series. I will continue looking forward and reading. It's so different from my normal thriller or romance or urban fantasy flair that it gets me excited.

This is not a stand alone book and must be read in the order of the series!

Major John Chase puts in a good race

The only reason I gave this book, #12 in the V Plague series, a four star rating is because it gets a little long about half way thru. Chase get a broken message from Hawaii. With the help of Rachel and dog, he travels miles across America to complete the mysterious message. Then most of the book is traveling adventures. He discovers something nasty about female zombies. All the while, the Russians are planning to finally destroy what's left of the U.S. . In the end, this read becomes really good writing as it took my breath away. All in all a really good series.

Another Fantastic Installment

I absolutely love this series! I wait months for anew novel to be published, and then I gobble it up within 24 hours!
Waiting never disappoints, and book #12 was no different. Chock full of action, suspense, and Jack Bauer style bad-assery, John and Co did not disappoint in this installment. Igor is one of my absolute favorites, and I'm glad we got to see him in this one. Only complaint? Very little Irina! But there were a few more characters introduced that I adore.
C'mon, Dirk, let's get on #13!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You just cannot do this to me. I am going to get hold of some chemical to erase my memory so I can forget about these books. I'll leave a hidden message someplace designed to reach me 2 or 3 years from now so I can read the whole lot again.
Any ideas what would work best? Or is surgery the answer.

As usual, awesome story. As usual, the writer is really lucky he doesn't live in my neighborhood or I'd be on his front lawn playing the banjo and a kazoo until he released his next book.

What a rollercoaster ride!!!

I hope the next book is out tomorrow because I can't wait any longer than that. Every time I finish a book I think it is the best and that you can't out do it, but you do!! I won't give away anything but pregnancy, flying boats and seals with XOs. You have to read and you will understand why I love this series and can't wait for the next book. I hope it is out soon since I know it won't be tomorrow!!!

Wow

As usual, on the edge of my seat and reading fast and furiously. I love this series and anxiously await each new book. I cannot praise this author enough. Can I clean your house, walk your dog? Anything to keep you writing these wonderful books. Highly recommend to anyone who is near. Thank you for a great, great read!

The V Plague series is an interesting read, if you like zombies and military themes. The hero is not an every day guy, he's pretty much a superman. If you're good with those parameters, you may enjoy this series. Caution - as of this writing in August 2016, there are 12 books and the series isn't over yet.

My Current Favorite Series

Ridiculously gripping, for 12 straight books in a row. The immediacy of Patton's writing and attention to detail deliver a ride like no other. A channel like HBO could get serious mileage out of developing this for a series. I eagerly await the next volume, but dread the knowledge that eventually it will be wrapped up. So very satisfying!

Even after 12 books in this series, I am still every bit as enthusiastic as I was after the first book in the series. The story keeps morphing into new and exciting challenges for John, Rachel, Dog and company, along with new and interesting characters that wander in and out of the story and add to the flavor of the whole apocalypse scenario. Great books!
