Five Star Horror ★★★★★

Let “The Spell” cast a spell on you, as you follow the adventures of a Las Vegas Crime boss named Mike Castellini and his crew that decide to pay a strip club named Puss N Booties “no kidding” an ill-fated visit to see why it is so prosperous? To me, this story was “From Dusk till Dawn’ and “Jeepers Creepers” all rolled into one that happen to be taking place at a strip club. Minter has quite an imagination as he brings these crazy characters to life; in this be careful what you wish for story. Oh wait, that’s “The Lottery” another short story by him, but similar in delivery. Well-paced, grisly and climatic. Mike may be the boss, but the demon “Eldorado” is the Don. My conclusion, it's a very good read.
