The Curse of Porter's Hollow

Rate this book
The battle between good and evil is waged in the most unlikely places…Porter’s Hollow is a place of breathtaking natural beauty nestled in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains — but it’s a beauty eclipsed by a dark past. The hollow has long been a place filled with varying shades of truth, and evil, of deep shadows hiding grim secrets that cling to it like a black stain. The curse brought on by Laura Evans’ ancestor has threatened and consumed the men in her family far too long. She’s lost too much to the creature stalking them across these mountains and hollows. It’s time to deal with this beast head to head, whatever it takes, whatever the cost... in life, limb, or love.

Good stories but:

Not quite what I was looking for. The 3 stories are well writ ten and the characters are well fleshed out. I enjoyed the parts pertaining to life in Porter's Hollow. Granny & Aunt were my favorite characters. While many remote mountain towns retain their own "special folklore" I was not particularly interested in this one. Seemed a little far fetched. While I did enjoy reading the stories, the fact that I paid for them was annoying. Will stick to free books from now on.
