Another great read. I went into thinking I would hate it because of a certain person turning away from their people and beliefs, but I was surprised how this turned out. We finally get who the Ridaeron Dynasty really are and the part they played through out the entire series. Now I'm really excited for Mulan.

Bittersweet

I loved this last story in the series. But it's so sad that it's the last. I loved each story and how the characters have minor parts in each story. I wish it could keep going. But this was a great ending to the series

Did it have to end

So loved this series. They intertwine in ways you might not expect. This book was very much a redemption story not just a love story. My only complaint was that parts felt rushed when the didn't need to be. I'm looking forward to the new series.

Wow

An epic and wonderful end to a wonderful series! This book has a little bit of everything just like it's predecessors in the series. If you haven't read the others books, I would recommend reading them first.

I think this was my least favourite of the series but I still enjoyed it a lot.

The author states this is the beginning of a new series which I am excited to read.

We are finally exploring the Dynasty of Ridaeron where slaves have been used for centuries. Camden is one of those slaves, but is he? He gets a lot of privileges for a slave or thrall. Bryn takes him as her personal thrall as she is sure there is more to him.

There is a lot of history and conflict in this story. I have not read a lot about the Viking kingdom so the storyline here was new for me.

Alright… I had really high hope for this book. I loved how the Siguard and Valkyrie were shown in the previous book. I wish the author had taken time to shown us how their relationship changed from enemies to friends instead of telling us in one sentence. There was lot of potential given the circumstances they were both in.

Not sure which fairy tale is being twisted here - maybe sleeping beauty? This turned out to be so much more than that, touching on a lot of Norse legends in the process. There’s a civil war so it gets very dark, but it ends well and is a satisfying conclusion to the series.
