I loved that I felt like the author did a bit of research about classic cars, although there are a few issues. (You won't cross-thread a bolt you are loosening, you don't need to remove the bolt to replace the belt, but rather just loosen it. And if the bolt is already partially threaded, it won't cross-thread.) I really enjoyed this story, and probably would have given it 5 stars, but there were several editing issues. Max appears in this story, which really made me happy... until he was called Nash three times. While I think the timelines of car restorations are more than little unrealistic, there is enough information to feel the process itself is, but not so much jargon that a reader gets lost.

Nice read

Just wondering if the car rebuild was for Max or Nash? Max was mentioned first when the impala was brought in then Nash was being mentioned over and over! But its a cute story and lends to the days of the good old boys network where women weren't allowed to dominate in a "mans" World (job)!

A great little read

Charlie (Charlotte) and Leo make a really great couple, good backstories for them both, the secondary characters are interesting and the nasty guy gets his comeuppance, after there has been a little angst for our alpha guy and his gorgeous gal.

Charlie is on her way to a new job as a mechanic working for a classic car restorer, after being passed over for promotion in favour of a less qualified mechanic. Her classic car breaks a belt leaving her stranded on the side of the road. Leo is on his way to visit one of his car restoration garages when he comes across Charlie and helps her fix her car. There is an attraction between them but Charlie decides that it is a bad idea and takes off. The next morning Leo arrives at his business to find things are not as they should be. The manager is late to open the garage and there seems to be a lot less staff than there should be. Charlie arrives at her new job, but the manager is about to throw her out when he finds out that she is a woman. However, the owner walks in and stops him. Both Leo and Charlie are surprised to find that Leo is about to be her boss. The business gets a rush job on restoring a wreaked classic car, and Leo stays to work on the car. Can the attraction develop into something more?

This book is more than a simple romance. The plot has a depth and I like the character development. Well worth reading.

Leo is the third book in KR Max’s Dominant Boss series focusing on the story of Leo Brent, CEO of three hundred classic car garages across the nation, and Charlotte (Charlie) Hanrahan, a newly hired female mechanic. Charlie’s classic car breaks down in the middle of the night on a deserted road as she is traveling to her new employment setting. Leo comes to her aid and just happens to have the necessary part for her car, but things get out of hand due to the instant attraction. Charlie, a virgin, realizes what she is doing when Leo comments about needing a bed so they can complete what they started. Charlie flees and leaves Leo at the roadside. The next morning, Leo is surprised to find out Charlie is his newly hired mechanic for the garage he is checking on due to its loss of income and staff turnover. The sparks continue to light an erotic fire when a special customer request requires Charlie and Leo to work closely together for a month. Read the book to find what happens to this couple.
This easy to read novel has great characters, a good plot which incorporates the issues female mechanics can face, and lots of steamy chemistry. Leo is a five star read!

This is book three of the Her Dominant Boss series. Meet Charlie and Leo. Charlie is on her way to her new job when her car gives up in the middle of.nowhere. Leo is the owner of a car repair chain. Their first encounter is Leo rescuing the damsel in distress, Charlie, they have a hot exchange of thanks and off Charlie goes. However, fate can be cruel and.serves up her revenge the next day when Charlie shows up for work as the newest employee, a mechanic, in one.of Leo's shops. Do these two get a chance at something more or will just be a one hit wonder on the side of the road? Another book in the series that comes with a really good story with characters that have some spunk and depth to them. Enjoy!

A quick enjoyable read.
I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing a greater sense of reality to her story.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.
The chemistry between the H and h is great plus their attitudes and events going on make the story even richer.

Great read, love that Charlie is such a force and knows her cars. Wonderful how Leo approaches her, but then realizes this woman is the whole package. Nice characters with in depth backgrounds and great lead for the next story. Love how the ending played out for Charlie and her past job.

This is a light, fun story that’s a fairly short read only taking about 90 minutes or so. The characters are fun and interesting and have great chemistry together.

This was a wonderful book. It didn't seem rushed. This was sweet and steamy, full of romance and passion with great characters that were interesting enough to draw you.
