Where does one start with about what I do?
I’m a writer, but I’m sure you guessed that by now if you’re reading this, hey? What you might not know is I’m a little quirky, live in my pj’s most of the time and have cake Saturdays with my sisters every week. I dedicate a little of my time to taking care of my grandbabies and on the dedicated writing days I like to write an eclectic mix of romance, suspense and paranormal fantasy. In the main I’ve written gay romance but I’m branching out under another the pen name in the future, so watch this space.
I’ve a passion for books like you would not believe and it led me down this path and now I’ve over 29 books released and heading towards releasing a whole lot more. The way my head is I never know where I’ll be headed next. I hope you’ll find a little joy in my words and follow me to see where the journey takes me and you.
If you’re interested at some point in 2021 I’ll be writing under the name JP Paton which will be F/M crime and Fantasy two of my favourite things. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled 

Finally, we see what happened to Ferron

One thing I noticed in Lenny's books as well, is that the author tends to skip certain scenes, and kind of comes back to what's missed in a throwback.

All the jumping around makes the storyline jerk all over the place.

A lot of the scenes we've already seen in previous books are repeated, and not much is added with the exception of a few things from Ferron's POV.

I hope the next one is a bit smoother, and hopefully we see the beginning of Ferron and Isaac's relationship.

Oh Ferron 😢😢 you poor sweet boy! Part one is written from Ferron’s POV.

If like me you’ve been intrigued by Ferron since the beginning then wait no more ❤️ this innocent boy who just wants to submit to a Dom finds himself in the worst place imaginable. The writing of some of the abuse that he’s gone through is brilliant, it conveys the hurt that has been endure but doesn’t push it too far.

I love Jayne’s writing and all her characters and can’t wait for the next books to dive more into Isaac’s head and their relationship together.

Be warned this does end on a slight cliffhanger but the books come out quickly 😊

This book is part one of Ferron’s story, a journey I was so eager to delve into from the first time I met him in Mind body and soul (you don’t have to read Mind Body and Soul before reading this book and PLEASE READ THE AUTHOR’S WARNING NOTE BEFORE CONTINUING)....

Ferron’s life and his story intrigue me and what an emotional roller coaster it was. He faced a lot of mental and physical abuse which scared him emotionally.
After the loss of his parents Ferron felt lost, he wanted to find a place where he felt whole, a safe place.. On leaving The Playroom he found himself in a place with someone who became very abusive and obsessive.

My My... I needed a box of tissue and a damp towel…. So emotional…..

I almost screamed the author’s name out loud when I got to the end of this book….[da… CLIFFHANGER much?]

This story was worth the wait and I’ll wait patiently for the next installment.

Be ready with a box of tissues. J.P Sayle brings you along with Ferron on the rollercoaster of emotions. You want to tuck him up and keep him safe. I can hardly wait for the next book so I can quell the panic I have for Ferron.

🎧 narrated Matt Haynes ❤ The first time narrator for me and a brilliantly voiced. The characters are spoken with different voices and are easily known, which I loved heaps. 5 stars for narrative.
❤5 stars for the book although this does have some tough scenes, I enjoyed this heaps. My love hate of cliffhangers wont stop me for grabbing book two, “Hidden” which I’ve since read and loved included both POVs in that one book.
This includes hard BDSM scenes with Devon with abuse.., but things get better after his escape. Ferron's journey is from pain and despair to healing or start to with the help of Nathan. Ferron battles his inner voice of negative thoughts. In his pursuits of Carl he'd missed his perfect 42 yrs ol Dom. A fantastic book for the first part of Ferron’s journey. Written in Ferron’s POV and ends with a cliffhanger I hope Isaac acts fast. Drama's and danger isn’t far away..

Ferron was about to see a new therapist about his anxieties. Running from his past master, Devon. Rewinds back in time to his time visiting The Playroom a DBSM club co-owned by Carl, Ferron wants him to be his Dom. But wasn’t to be, now at a new club.
Devon was willing to take him on but would he destroy Ferron.

I haven't read the other books in The Playroom series, so I was intrigued with the blurb regarding Ferron. I'm so glad I read it and now need to go and read the previous books.
Ferron's story is a heartbreaking and painful story written from his point of view. Ferron just needs to feel loved after heartbreaking events in his past and after being rejected by his favourite Dom at The Playroom, goes off to find someone new at another club which was recommended by one of his friends. This turns out to be the biggest mistake of his life, resulting in many months of deprivation, torture and pain. After making his escape he is cared for by Nathan and Isaac, but danger is never far away as he and Nathans boyfriend Lenny unfortunately find out on New Years Eve.
I read this book in one go as I couldn't put it down, but then found myself unable to sleep due to worrying about Ferron! The book ends in a cliffhanger that will leave you desperate for book 2. I totally recommend this book, but please be aware of the trigger warnings at the start.

What a cliffhanger! But I loved it and desperate for the next book.
Going into this I knew Ferron’s story was gonna be heartbreaking but damn!! We'd met Ferron in previous Playroom books but this one takes us back initially to how Ferron ended up where we is now.
At the beginning before things get super dark for him you can really feel Ferron’s loneliness. He’s all on his own in the world and just wants to be loved. Can see how he ended where he did. To avoid being spoilerery I'm going to avoid say what happened to him after than saying I was totally horrified to discover exactly what Ferron went through. It took me by surprise and my heart was in my mouth reading certain scenes.
Ferron escaped the situation he was in and found himself in the sanctuary of The Playroom. And it's at the Playroom he meets Issac. Ferron likes Issac but he's been damaged by recent events so he's not sure if he's brave enough to move from friendship. And that's damn shame because if ever anyone needed a good Daddy Dom like Issac to care for them it’s Ferron.

Disturbing but with hope (an audio review)

This book comes with a trigger warning and I think it’s super important to read it. This book is disturbing and there are scenes that were hard to listen to. This book is extreme, but I know people who’ve been in bad relationships where much of the reactions were the same.

I’ve read the first three books of The Playroom series, so I knew Ferron would survive his captivity, but I think it was good I got the ‘before’ story. I did not, of course, know Ferron’s backstory – his parents, his life, his neediness. What brought him to The Playroom, and what drove him away. I also knew he would recover from the trauma he’s enduring and even go on to form a bond with Lenny. But knowing that didn’t alleviate the worry and pain as he went through such abuse.

The book is entirely from Ferron’s point of view, so I was right there for all of it. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Will put in a plug for Matt Haynes. I always enjoy his narration and he did a good job with this one as well.

Ever since I met Ferron’s character in “Mine Body and Soul” I was really curious about his story (you don’t have to read “Mine body and soul” to read this book). Ferron is a member of the Playroom, Nathan’s club, but when he gets rejected by a Dom he feels like he needs to go to a new club and start fresh. This turns out to be the biggest mistake of his life.
My heart ached while I was reading this book. The amount of abuse Ferron had to endure was very hard to read. I advise you to read the author’s warning before you start the book. It’s a heartbreaking (made me cry) and very suspenseful book. The author’s writing is wonderful and the hurt/comfort scenes wrap you like a warm blanket and make you feel better. I absolutely adored the book and I can’t wait for the next part. Also, keep in mind that the book ends with a cliffhanger but we wont have to wait a lot for the sequel.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review.

I first met Ferron in Mine, Body and Soul and knew that his story was going to break my heart. Loosing the anchor in your life is very difficult especially when you are suffering from survivors guilt and for Ferron loosing his parents left him floundering. So he went looking to find something to help him function in his new world and hopefully finding that right person along the way too. But it was so very difficult finding someone who was just for him which has him doubting himself, causing him to make some very poor choices brought on with the help of unthoughful words and this sets him up for a disaster. But he is finding out it takes a true survivor to be able to get away from a horrible situation and admit that you need help to get to the other side.

⚠️ Warning ⚠️ Graphic and disturbing content of physical/mental/sexual abuse and MC held hostage for the first 25% of the book.

Ferron has lost his parents and wants to find someone to love. He was interested in a Daddy named Carl but after he goes to the safe night club called the Playground and Carl turns him down he is embarrassed and decides to try a new club which is where his nightmare begins. Only ending once he ends up in the hospital and calls the first safe club for help.

This was an intense, emotional read with a more intense cliffhanger but I loved it.

The narrator did an amazing job. Though I did speed it up alot.
