This series makes for a good and exciting story. However, the last five books veer so far from the plausible that any thought this might be an entirely true story left me volumes ago. The author didn't have to continue to assert the truthfulness of the volumes because the story holds up on its own without that. Consequently, I find the "A True Story" insistence to be supremely irritating.

I also dislike that the author resorted to the "monsterfication" of the Sasquatch species. There is no evidence that the species has ever harmed humans. Such assertions just contribute to mis-information about Cryptids and feed the overall trigger happiness of so many Americans.

A Moment of Calm with Implications

This edition was a moment of calm in this intense series. The residents and our hero are dealing with the aftermath of Felix's death in the previous chapter. Human intrigue enters into this unusual situation and our hero gets a bit of relief. We end on an interesting cliffhanger, that I can't wait to learn more about.

Death at Dusk

Another page turner to the end! Leaving me anxious for the next chapter!
This group of hominids is definitely getting "out of control" and their contact/ encounters with domestic animals and now humans is putting everyone in danger. I would be scared out of my wits and moving in with relatives elsewhere by now!!

Getting DEEP

Be aware that each "book" in this series is less than a hundred barely-filled pages long. It appears this series is more about gouging the readers than telling the story. It lacks good editing, but even that would be forgivable if this wasn't such a blatant attempt to get into the reader's wallet.
Very disappointed in this author.

Interesting

I have read the entire series. Tom’s writing style shows he isn’t stupid, he is very creative. I say that because though he claims these events are true but names have been changed to protect the innocent I do question where they are or not. Tom’s books are a page turner for me and my wife enjoyed them as well.

Format NOT Compatible with Kindle Paperwhite Readers

The story series has been interesting. Note to author: Please convert the format of these books to something that can be used on a Kindle Paperwhite reader. You might benefit from an increase in readership by doing so.

Great book

Tom is a master at keeping a reader's interest. I recommend this book to anyone. I would also suggest that they start with the first book.
