I am a member of the Wings of Diablo MC Club. Or at least I was. I thought the biker scene was where I wanted to be. That the forged brotherhood of guns, bikes and club bunnies was where I would find my way. That was before. Now, I was a prisoner. Betrayed by those I once called brother, left to die by those I once killed for, forgotten. Now I am on the brink of insanity, I feel the grip I had on the life that was stripped from me slipping away. I have nothing left to fight for, nothing but Angel. Ink's story is dark, twisted, brutal, raw and violent. The major part of the book contains detailed description of torture and abuse. 50+1 ways to break someone, physically and mentally, or kill them! Take your pick! Maybe less ways are described, but Rae B. Lake was quite creative for sure! It was an intense story, not your regular MC romance. I could never label it as "romance", it's more of a thriller, even if Ink finds love.

Ink's story is not for the faint of heart. It's dark. He was tortured. He was turned into a monster. A beast. Lord have mercy on anyone that gets in his way on his journey towards revenge! The reader is taken down into the pits of hell and shares Ink's pain. We're with him as he survives. Becomes stronger. We ride with him as he seeks revenge and what a twisted, wild ride it was! And that epilogue, I can't wait for more!!!

I love how the book starts right in the thick of the action and picks up speed from there. The author has mastered the art of keeping the story moving but also giving enough detail and knowing how long to stay on each section before moving on so it doesn’t become boring or miss out details.
I normally don’t read a lot of MC books but this had me hooked immediately and I couldn’t put it down! I read this as a stand alone but it looks like it’s part of a series but it reads fine on its own. Lots of action in all sense and I highly recommend

Wonderfully fantastic... The book was amazing... It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it... The characters and their personalities match them perfectly... The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing...I loved this book but then again, I love reading about MC clubs, especially when they have very hot bikers trying to prove that not all bikers are bad!

Woah or better wow - this one was heavy and beautiful at the same time - really good and captivating with an incredible H and a rather inconspicuous or unobtrusive love story - the effect is really wow!

The drama, pain and hatred was palpable! This was a tremendous read. Loved how Rae showed Inks loving side with Angel while unleashing his “beast” side. Great read!

More crime thriller than romantic suspense
The first third of the book gives us the story if Ink in explicit detail. His capture, subsequent torture and survival. Only after the description of these painful 4 years do we meet the h, Jazmine. The two main characters barely spent any time in each others company and I did not believe in their connection. However, this was still a well written book and I finished it because I enjoyed the crime thriller element. I could compare this book to a good action movie, with only a token appearance by a female love interest for the hero.

OMG! Ink by Rae B. Lake is an emotional, heartbreaking story about Ink who is a member of the Wings of Diablo MC and little Angel when they were taken, tortured and abused while being held prisoners by the evil depraved Harrington's and Vale who betrayed Ink and his club. With no hopes of escaping or being rescued, Ink feels betrayed by his brothers not understanding why no one is coming for him. Ink is left broken and beaten while trying to keep Angel safe, but each day that goes by, Angel is being starved to death and abused. Now Ink is slowly losing his mind from is beatings most of them sexually related. Now he is being trained as a killer to fight in death matches in a glass cage. When he sees that the Harrington's are going to use Angel to keep him in line all he can think of is that he needs to protect this little girl before they use her. Angel who has become a smart little girl keeps telling Ink that miracles do happen, with the help from Roth who has been guarding them they just might get their chance to escape. On the run bruised and weak that are able to find shelter in an artist's basement. When they are discovered by Jasmine who is a feisty, tattooed sexy young woman who has suffered in the past due to her father's involvement with organized crime, she offers to help them. But Ink is having a hard time adjusting as he is so traumatized, that he doesn't' know who to trust. When Jasmine breaks down Ink's barriers, she bonds with these two while saving them from the men who are trying to bring them back and Ink finds he is attracted to her. With all of the abuse he has suffered physically and sexually, can he allow himself to be with Jasmine? The bond and connection between these two will grow as these two come together with so much passion and emotion. Each day Ink gets stronger, the one thing on his mind is to get his revenge on his club. When he is discovered by one of his brothers and learns that Ink is alive, the club tries to get him back but will he believe that they never stopped looking for him and Angel? When Ink returns to the club they will soon learn that danger is once again coming their way, Vale and the Harrington's are coming for the club, especially Ink. Now the club will rally around Ink as he will seek his vengeance on the Harrington ring of debauchery and murder as well as making Vale pay. Will they be able to stop this threat and save the women in the club, especially Jasmine? Rae, has done an outstanding job telling this chilling, gripping story about how a broken man can get his life back all due to the love of a brash, strong, sexy woman! He knows there will be no escape until Roth decides to help them. Thankfully they are in America and Ink & Angel are finally close to going home. The only problem is Ink doesn’t know if he can trust the MC & he feels like they gave up on them both. When they hide in a store on the docks they meet the beautiful and talented artist Jazmine and she agrees to help them. Angel is sick and needs help. Ink is grateful when Jazmine comes through to help Angel. He can’t get her out of his mind and she is the first person to show him kindness, love, affection, & warmth in years. He knows he must confront his brothers but he’s still so angry but it must be done. When they learn the truth they are ready to take on his captors and kill them all. This book has some bittersweet moments and some sadness but it sets up some major stories for the next several books in the series. Happy Reading!!

Ink and his girls friends sisterAngel were out ,enjoying the day, when they were both kidnapped and taken away.
Ink will do anything to keep Angel safe,including being a sex slave and fighter for their kidnappers. He thinks he’s been betrayed by the club, and that they forgot about him and Angel, but they dint and have never stopped looking for them in all the time they were gone.
Ink and Angel are released by an unlikely ally, and they discover that after all this time they are home. They hide out and are helped by Jasmine,who has a past also.

This is a DARK MC romance and if you are easily disturbed, don’t read this book. There are themes if kidnapping, torture, sadism, abuse and sex trafficking in this story. Ink is kidnapped with a 6-year old girl from the club. Fortunately the little girl is only used to keep Ink in line. They are kept for years and Ink is used as a form of entertainment for the Giles, a couple of very twisted individuals. They finally escape and are Saves by Jazmine who was also raised in a very dark life style. Reunited with their family they seek out revenge on those that hurt them. Ink doesn’t come out of this experience without his own issues but Jazmine keeps him from falling too far into the dark. Their story is a bit of an Insta-love romance but considering their pasts and connection it’s not too far fetched. This one kept me up all night reading and the ending has meeting waiting to see where the author goes with the next book!

Okay, if you're easily triggered; it might not be the book for you. Seriously. For everyone else, OH MY GOODNESS!! Well, I could say more descriptive things about this book; but I would probably be banned. Wow! Wow! Wow!! Loved Ink's story. It was gut wrenching, heartbreaking, frustrating, and awesome at the same time. Was that our Prospect back in the day? Well, no longer is Ink some skinny little dude. He's all man now and damn if he hasn't changed. Wow!!
Ink's story just had me needing tissues and a punching bag. I was so aggravated with the entire MC until the picture got clearer and clearer. Absolutely loved the story between Angel and Inkpop. Plus, the story with him and Jazmine. Oh my goodness about Vida!! You must read the book!!

This book is phenomenal. It is not your normal romance. It is more of a dark, raw, intense, twisted and gritty story about Ink. He is a member of the WOD. He is taken and we not only get his story but we also get a look into what Jasmine had to deal with on top of what is happening in the club. Will they get together? Will they have a HEA? How far will they go for each other? Is revenge more important than love? This book is so well written and descriptive that you can see the images roll like a movie in your head. It is not for the faint if heart. What he goes through is horrific. I could not put this book down. I stayed up reading it till I got to the very last word. I had a pillow, a drink and tissues with me and trust me I used everyone of these items. The emotions this book brought out was intense but I couldn't put it down. I had to know the answers to the questions I was asking myself. Ms. Lake is a master at pulling you into the story and keeping you there. I can not wait for the next one in this series!!! My heart will be ready by then....I hope. So good!

She never knew when her time was going to come thanks to her father and bother's illegal activities. Deep in despair, she attempted to take her life, but her father got to her in time. Too bad he did not do an intervention for himself or her brother. Now with no family around and on her own, she is writing a new chapter for her life. It is also where she meets Ink who was hiding out in her place of business. When men came for them, she lied to keep them safe. Now Ink is on a mission to get revenge on the people who held him in captivity. Jazmine's love for him has him changing but will it be enough to get him to put down his revenge and start a life with her? This story will have you empathizing with Jazmine and Ink and cheering them on to a brighter future in spite of all the bad things that impacted their lives.

Intense, Outstanding, Out of this World Fantastic, Awesome....just a few words to describe how good this book is! I have read a lot of books and I have never read one as intense as this book. I absolutely loved it. It might not be for everyone but no matter how intense it was it was so engrossing I had to keep reading. Don’t start it at night like I did cause I didn’t want to put it down and fell asleep reading it and woke up and started reading it again. My family was not happy but I was so into this book I could not put it down. After everything that ink went through I am so happy he found his HEA. This book made me cry and it also had me cheering through the ups and downs. But no matter what I loved this book!! I highly recommend but would like to say if you have triggers then this book is not for you.

THIS BOOK!!!! This book is not at all for the weak. Ink was kidnapped after he let his jealousy make him drop is guard. Taken with him Vale, Angel and Arga…. We know Arga did make and was killed in tortured and broken in the most horrific manner. The things that Ink endured so that he could protect Angel was more than anyone can believe. He was tortured, deemed, abused, broken, and most of all CHANGED, when he final escapes his hell he believes his brothers have moved on without him but he still uses all he has to protect Angel with a little help from an unlikely source. This escape also brought him to Jasmine she found in the sea of pain he was in and kept him from completely losing his way. Another member of the family is lost, yet another dispenses the ultimate betrayal that will cost him dearly when he is located. This book is a MUST read …

THEIR BACK! Wings of Diablo MC and what an MC it is! I have read all these books and yes you can read them as standalones but it is HIGHL recommended that you read them in order. for the FULL EFFECT. Are you ready for your panties to melt and your kindle to catch fire!?! Ink is one of those books that you will get FOMO if you do not read this book! It is written so eloquently that if you have not read the others in this series you will want to. It is superbly written and expressed so diligently and get the tissues ready and settle in. This MC dies not disappoint! twist and turns and whole lotta love!

My heart broke into a million little pieces for Ink and Angel. Their story is dark & filled with torture, pain, agony, despair as we take a four year journey with them that left me as bit broken. Freedom.. once they have it an even bigger journey begins to repair what was broken and I too found found myself mending with and even caught myself laughing a bit. If you have loved this series you do not want to miss this book and if your new to it star at the very beginning I promise you won't be disappointed.

HOLY S*IT!!!!! Rae B. Lake pulled out ALL of the stops with Ink. This story had me COMPLETELY gutted! Ink and Angel has been through h*ll and back for 4 solid years at the hands of a twisted woman and her husband. With a little inside help they finally escape but there's a long way to go before they're ok. He thinks the Wings deserted him and he trusts no one but Jazmine. The one who helped him and Angel find their way again. This story is so tragically beautiful and will rip your heart out and slowly put it back together. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This one deserves it!

This book was seriously amazing! This book is dark, really dark, twisted, violent, and filled with torture, abuse, and sex trafficking and so much more. My heart broke for Ink and Angel. After escaping capture, their road isn’t an easy one before they will finally be okay. Ink becomes stronger and seeks his revenge on the people who held him captive. This book was so dang good and a wild ride from start to finish.

This Wings of Diablo story almost had me closing the book before it was done. Not because it was bad, it was just very raw, dark and so very twisted. There was a point where if what was insinuated actually happened,
I would’ve had to have stopped reading but thankfully it was all part of the twisted-ness. The unspeakable things that Ink went through are definitely not for the faint of heart. The way he did everything he could to protect Angel from those monsters shows what kind of person Ink really is.

I was not expecting this one to be as dark and intense as it was. I have not read a book from Rae before but I'll tell you, I'm going to!!!
It's so intense I've had to put it down a few times but it would have been a huge injustice for Ink to not get his revenge and me being right there as these demons find out what happens when you mess with a man who has the scars from the road to he** he and Angel were forced to travel.

My first book by Rae B Lake and will be back for more! A dark twisting thriller of a ride with this read. the words jump of the page and into reality with a thump or raw emotions driving the characters to their limits. well written with great detailed scenes it was nicely paced throughout. got to go read the rest of the series now!

But oh so good if you like your romance with edge. Soppy romances dont do anything for me. I need angst and this book has it in abundance.
Great writing that hooks you from the first page. Fab characters and powerful storyline that did bring tears to my eyes n that doesnt happen often!

A dark and steamy read and has some triggers in it. The story will hold your attention. The plot is well descriptive and have steamy scenes. The chemistry between Ink and Jazmine is sizzling. The story will have you rotting for these characters to get their happy ending. This is a new author for me and I will be on the look out for more.

This book was amazing! It was a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. The author has an amazing way with words, this story sucks you in and takes you along for an emotional ride, I found myself cheering the characters on, crying with them, rooting for them, even holding my breath in places. It does have some dark scenes but for me, that just added to the awesomeness that is this book!

The story line was great, the character work was fantastic, and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. While I enjoyed this book, I'm not sure that I really like this couple together. I think if they would have had more time together I would like them together better. All in all this book kept me hooked from beginning to end. I look forward to more from this author.

This very well written Book 6 in A Wings of Diablo MC Series had a good plot and has really well developed characters. These characters interactions are excellent and are well-constructed. She created a great plot and cast of characters. Cannot wait to read more in this series of her books. This is a must read from a good author
