Fascinating!

A quick spin through the history of The Wedding Present in 15 songs covering 28 years and in only 104 pages. This is an entertaining little primer to the band and the main man and his song writing process delivered with the speed of a strummed guitar from 'George Best'.

David Gedge chooses a song from each Wedding Present and Cinerama LP writes about it.ow on thrills, high on detail. If, like me, you’re a fan, then you’ll find plenty in this slim volume to please.

I'm a massive Wedding Present fan, it was nice to get a glimpse behind the curtain at the songwriting/record releasing process. Bonus - David seems like a genuinely nice guy.

Definitely 5 stars, a great book - read it in one sitting! As a big fan of The Wedding Present I found it really interesting. It’s a very honest book, with plenty of humour too - it did make me chuckle a few times. Knew some of the stories in it, but also learned a lot. Fascinating stuff, surely there’s a sequel planned?!
