When offered the keys to the kingdom, I all but pissed on the throne.
I didn’t need the figurative crown to become the king, and I sure as hell didn’t want anything more to do with the little queen.
When the power started to shift and lives were being torn apart, justice needed to be served.
Who better to serve it up … than me?

Wow 😯 Where To Start!

Justice and Gabrielle’s story! As I read this story I wasn’t sure why Justice was sooo mean and what happened with him and Gabrielle aka Queenie.
Justice and his sister Truth are Cyrus and Tara’s children. Omg! I love Cyrus and Tara’s story the most ❤️
Justice is mature and very physically built and gorgeous. He and his sister and a few cousins go to a private rich school. Their are some snobby rich groupies and they are trouble. There is sooo much going going on in this book! So many secrets, angst galore!!
I was like frustrated with this storyline when I couldn’t understand why to stuff going on! But, the book flowed and through a lot of drama, heartache and revelations it’s a good storyline and I have been reading series and loving it. But this one was a little too much angst and needed more romance.

This book blew me away. Justice was brutal, but by the end, I couldn't even be mad at him for it. So many times my mouth dropped open at his audacity.

At the end, I was close to tears, I was shocked, I gasped out loud and cursed certain people. So many things brought up in Laced Steel came to light in this book and answered so many questions I had. It was just ... wow. Mind. Blown.

I have wanted Justice's story since the Crew series began. He is such the enforcer but loves his Crew and will do anything to keep them safe. He is a bruiser and we saw him fight in the previous book. His sister Truth is bada$$ and I knew he was going to give her a run for the money in what he was able to dish out. He is smoking hot and just gives that bad guy vibe all the time.

It kills me to give this book 4 stars. The author is phenomenal and the writing is well paced and vivid with detail. The first part of the book was a bit confusing. Maybe I missed something in the previous stories about how the whole app and Horsemen relationship works??? I just wasn't sure what was happening--what Justice was being asked to do. I just hated Justice so much, I can't get past his overall behavior. I know these are teens and prone to hormones. But, he presents like a man--in manner and voice, and his actions and treatment of Gabrielle are seemingly uncalled for. As mean girl as Gabrielle has been so far to the whole Crew, Justice treats her like something less than human. The story reveals secrets as it goes but it didn't matter to me what came to light, the damage was already done.

That said, Gabrielle won the day for me. She was such a strong character with a vulnerable side she fought so hard not to show. What she has endured and what the Horsemen have allowed to continue, was just unfathomable. Her story unfolds and it will break your heart. I was so happy that even Mama Joe deemed her worthy of the Steel support system. She deserves only the best going forward. I am not sure why she gave Justice another shot. I think I would have closed the door on that one.

It was great to see Jase and Cyrus in their daddy modes. LOVED seeing the babies!!! I am looking forward to more of the Crew. Tris and Max I think will give us some trouble coming up down the road.

A necessary addition to the series. It moves the story lines along but not my favorite so far. Read the whole series from the start!

4 1/2 "Strong As Steel" Stars!

Wowza!! This is book four in the series and I'm definitely late to the party. However, I jumped right in without missing a beat. I probably missed some backstory, but I didn't know what I was missing. I will definitely be going back to read the first three books in the Steel Crew series as well as the earlier books of the Men of Steel series. M.J.Fields has definitely won me over!

In Justified Steel, Justice and Gabrielle are the epitome of an enemies to lovers relationship. I haven't read a book in a while where the characters had such an intense dislike for one another. Getting the history on both of these characters and understanding their reactions was meaningful to the story. I always liked both characters. I just didn't necessarily like the way they treated each other, particularly Justice's treatment of Gabrielle.

I simply adored the family and extended family. This is why I know I have to read all the previous books. These characters are so entertaining. I definitely look forward to not only checking out this author's backlist, but also future books by M.J. Fields.

I received this ARC in a contest. I chose to review it voluntarily.

I think I’m loving this Steel Crew series even more than The Men Of Steel series. I mean the dads of all these characters in the “Crew” are some of the hottest alpha men. They were raised by a momma that made them into the most swoon worthy men you’ll ever read.

Like I said in an earlier comment, the first three chapters of Justified Steel were a roller coaster. Justice and Gabrielle are a volatile couple. I was not loving how Justice was treating her for most of the book. His father did not raise him to disrespect a girl so blatantly. But of course the author has some secrets and twists in the story that explain the unpredictable drama between these two.

There was also a lot of mystery around Gabrielle’s family from the previous book in the series, Laced Steel. She was not a character I wanted to like until I started to understand the motivation behind her ugliness. I was totally surprised by the reveal of her family drama.

One of my favorites things about The Steel Crew series is that you continue to get pieces of the stories of all of the characters belonging to this very exuberant Italian family. Forever Steel! I can’t wait for more.

Justice's story was one i was waiting for since Mj started the Crew Series. If you're a fan of hers & have read the Men of Steel then you know Justice is the first born boy of the brothers & Cyrus's son....i'll say no more lol. This book was so much more then i could have anticipated. When handed the "keys to the kingdom" JT plays by his rule & to say he "Justifies" his actions is an understatement!! This book took me for such a ride, i believed i had little clues to where Mj was going & god i was so damn wrong! It's raw, it's real & it's a little raunchy & hot as hell!!! Once you read that first chapter I guarantee you won't be able to put it down till you're done!! I don't know how Mj does it but i am so damn glad she does! #ForeverSteel

I'm all about 2nd generation Steel!

Justice...broody, tatted and all Steel!
Was offered the keys to the kingdom...with one stipulation... Gabrielle...the girl who missed with his twin when they started their new high school. The girl with whom he holds much distain for. He only has to endure it for a year...

Gabrielle..."Queen" bee, at school she's the it girl...at home she's just a girl alone. Her new situation proves to be filled with disgust and hate.

Can these two make it through a whole year or will hatred prevail?

Let me tell you...there were twists and turns I didn't see coming!

The whole Steel Crew do what they do best...take care of family!

I really love Justified! I will be rereading!!!

4.5 Stars for Justified Steel
I love everything about the Steel world, I love the characters, new and old and I love the stories Ms Fields is weaving for us in these emotional reads. Justified Steel will captivate you from the first page to the last line, it’s an emotional read that will have you swooning, sighing, holding your breath, shedding a tear and getting so angry you will want to scream at someone and it will certainly blow your mind so be prepared for an emotional roller coaster of a ride.
Justice is a man that takes some time to warm up to, in the first few chapters I have to say I wasn’t impressed with how he was treating Gabrielle but this is a couple that are volatile and they rub each other up the wrong way on more than one occasion. Justice and Gabrielle’s journey is not an easy one and the road to happiness has a fair few twists and turns as well as bumps along the way but it was a journey I was happy to join, this book has the perfect mix of passion, drama and secrets and you will certainly be kept on the edge of your seat as you try to work out the mystery behind Gabrielle’s family.
One of the great things about The Steel Crew stories is catching up with our old favourite characters as well as meeting new ones to fall in love with, looking forward to the next book in this entertaining series. Great job Ms Fields another great addition to the Steels.

I have to be honest. I did not like Justice in the beginning of this story. But in true MJ Fields form by the end I was loving him. Cyrus will always be my favorite and this book made that even stronger. His love for his children and family is what family is supposed to be. Justice made me want to throat punch sometimes. Didn’t understand why he treated Queenie like he did but it all made sense at the end. Queenie’s life was also unclear in the beginning but was so worth the wait at the end of the story. Justice and Queenie’s relationship has been through many different phases. By the end it is all love. Love of each other, love for family. Queenie’s relationship with her own family is questionable throughout the story but true Steel fashion, they take her in as one of their own. Like all MJ Field’s stories you cannot put them down. You grab on and don’t let go. She takes you on an adventure with tears of sadness, tears of joy and everything in between. Her sense of family is so strong and long lasting. Forever Steel will always be.

Justified Steel is the 4th book of the ‘Steel Crew’ series and this is Justice and Gabrielle's story. The books can be read as standalones although I recommend reading the previous books in order to know who everyone is and so far what's gone on. Plus really enjoyable reading fun.
Let me say that the first several chapters are explosive in relation to Justice and Gabrielle- boy, their chemistry is sizzling. Plus these two have a past, a history and their relationship is a bit of a love/hate. It's intense. Get ready to take the emotional rollercoaster ride and read on as Justice takes the "keys" to his kingdom, not realizing that the one person he hated is part and parcel to him getting the keys.
Gabrielle is someone who isn't quite as she seems. My heart broke for her as she dealt with the emotional rollercoaster Justice took her on. At times, the rollercoaster ride was quite dangerous. The angst, drama, secrets, lies, passion, 2nd chance romance, and love makes for a great read. Look forward to book 5 in this series next.

It’s always fun to visit the Steel family and Justified Steel is no exception. It is a fast paced story with the younger generation of of high school kids and all the drama that it entails.

There is a fine line between hate and love and Justin and Gabrielle have been walking that line for a while.

Justin is confident and controlling but there is something about Gabrielle that keeps him on his toes.

Gabrielle may come across as the rich spoiled brat but looks can be deceiving and there is a lot more going on behind the scenes that she is keeping hidden.

These two have a past. The question is, can they work out all of their differences and find that connection they used to have? Read, enjoy and find out for yourself.

Justice is about to find out that with power comes responsibility as he accepts the first as his due but he isn’t about to accept the second without a fight when it comes to Gabrielle. Not only is Gabrielle required to be in his life, but she will play a big part and with the past they share it will not be easy.

Gabrielle appears to be living the life that others would envy but that couldn’t be further from the truth. As her true circumstances are revealed piece by piece you realize how alone she really was until Justice and the Steele’s came into her life.

Justice and Gabrielle’s relationship is filled with emotion, surprises and secrets as these two captivating characters take us on journey that you won’t soon forget.

Seriously wow...

These two. It really is true that there is a fine line between love and hate and man do Justice and Gabrielle embody that sentiment!

I never would have guessed what these two have been through and what they were yet to face. M.J. You broke my heart with these two and yet mended it together all within the same chapter and simultaneously. I mean who does that?!! I talented story teller that's who!!

There isn't much else I can say without spoiling it and I do not like spoiler reviews so all I will say is, once again we get a next generation story with a healthy dose of the OG Steel Crew and a plot line that lets you get to know more of the funny and bad a** Steel Crew members. Just when you think there is no redeeming these two or them ever being able to be cordial to one another something comes around and makes you believe in fate. You really can't go wrong with any book in the Steel Crew series so if you want to start with this then please by all means! I can't wait for the next book to come out!!!

I love this second generation of Steels, and dare I say I’m starting to like them as much as I loved the first generation. This is an enemies to lovers story filled with heartbreak, secrets, passion and drama. This story centers around Gabriel and Justice and these two have history together more hatred than anything but with all strong emotions there is love just below the surface but they don’t even realize it. Can these to pull together and have a future or will the heat went out in the end?

Holy smoking hot mole! Many times MJ Fields teases this book has “all the feels.” She was not kidding. In just the first 5-6 chapters, I was angry and frustrated, then crying, then I was laughing and a pattern was born through out the rest of the book. This books did not disappoint and if you are following along reading the books in order, many suspicions were confirmed but there were several new revelations that made my mouth drop and my eyes bug out. All this and there are still a few teasers of what is to come in future books in the series. This book did not disappoint!

This is an honest review for an ARC received.

I will start off by saying, the Steel Family is one of my all time favorite family. I love how hard each one of the original Steel men love their wives, and I love how that devotion and loyalty melts down to their kids.

“I love the way you hate me.”

Justice Steel is an alpha male hotness as his father and uncles. He is a no holds bard, straight to the point, tattooed bad ass and I have to say I just love him. I’ve been waiting to see how this King would rule his kingdom, and he did not disappoint. When he’s tasked with protecting the one person he hates, all bets are off.

Gabrielle Morales-Ortiz, is the Queen of the castle in the clouds. The IT girl that boys want and girls want to either be like her or hate her. She feels the same hate towards Justice as he feels for her. When the two need to come together to become the IT couple, the sparks fly.

There is way more history between these two than meets the eye. You realize things aren’t always what is perceived. Justice has the hardness of his father, but yet the understanding of his mother. He is every bit the cocky jerk most of the Steel men are (at least at the beginning) and Gabrielle isn’t as cold as she portrays herself. When secrets are brought to the surface their relationship and feelings toward each other will come to the forefront.

“Forever mine and I’m forever yours. And I swear it on the sun.”

This is a 5 stars hard as Steel read! These two characters prove that there is a very fine line between love and hate. I love these next generations of Steel’s. The family dynamic is ingrained into the kids, and I love every minute of it. Justice is so much more than meets the eye. I will say I was shocked at a little revelation that was discussed between Justice and his dad Cyrus. I never would have guessed that little tidbit! All the freaking feels!!!!! I love the way MJ Fields has developed each character’s individuality, and I can’t wait for Tricks! I’ll never get enough of the Steel’s. FOREVER STEEL!

Justice is a young man who seems to be angry at the world – or at the very least, a certain someone. As he’s telling us his story, he gives the reader some interesting visuals. Be prepared to laugh at his expense. After that, the story gets very serious. One word I thought of was “bully”. If you had issues with bullies growing up this could possibly be a stark reminder.

When we first meet Gabrielle, she may answer some questions you’ve formed while getting to know Justice. This seems more his story – he commands attention. That could be one reason that you can’t seem to look away from what is going on. Something else I found was that the young people seem more college age than high schoolers. Then there was trying to figure out why they felt they had to behave a certain way.

The person I felt most sorry for was Gabrielle. She’s the one who tells us what she’s having to deal with. I didn’t feel as if there was anyone she could turn to. Adults make an appearance but it always seemed to be brief and part of that is because it’s not their story to tell. It seemed more as if these young people were raising themselves instead of just being young adults. I think this had to be one of the toughest books to read this year. The authors gets my mind working though. It has me wondering about what I might do and why did it seems as if the adults were failing here.

If you’ve not read this series yet, I would say that your best bet would be to start at the beginning. This way you get to know who the Steel Crew are from the beginning. The ending of this book helped me decide whether to continue or not because redemption is possible. Lucky for us the next book isn’t too far away.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Justified Steel is book #4 of the ‘Steel Crew’ series and is Justice’s story, though these books can be read as standalone stories, you get a much better enjoyment reading them as a series and they’re as awesome as the original Steel’s and I’m loving that we got more Cyrus, as Justice is the oldest male of the NA’s and Cyrus’ son - twin to Truth.

Justice’s story was one I was waiting for as in the earlier three you got a sense he was holding something back and definitely more closed off than the others and his reasons for this becomes clear - his ‘I don’t care’ attitude is really the opposite.

If you’ve read the others in this series you’ll know there’s a hierarchy at Seashore and a lot of hidden truths about the ‘old money’ which if gets out would destroy many - legal and other, for both parents and their children, so when Justice is handed ‘the keys to the kingdom’ and the power to destroy many it’s very interesting what he does with it.

Gabriella, who we first came to ‘dislike’ in Bella’s book (Tagged Steel), is Justice’s SO, and I’m not gonna lie - my heart bled for this young woman - you totally see a different side to her.

Just as you think you have sussed the direction MJ is taking you, she throws you a curve ball!

I can’t say how much I loved this book - I’m absolutely loving the next generation Steel, these ‘young adults’ are awesome, but so far Justice has taken the crown!

Up next we have Trix’ book (Patrick - Xavier & Taelyn’s only child) in Tricked Steel and as these books only keep getting better, when you don’t think it’s possible too - I seriously can’t wait!

MJ, you did it again - without a doubt a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read!

If there was one Steel book I wanted above all books, it was this one. I needed Justice Steel like I needed my next breath. I've never hidden the fact I love Cyrus Steel. Now it's time to fall in love with his son and fall is exactly what I did. Justice Steel loves his family. He's loyal as they come, maybe more so than the rest of the Crew. But there's another side to Justice. One that is brutal, honest, angry. And to be honest with the things that come to light as this story progresses, Justice has every right to be the way he is. I will say, I was a little "upset" with Justice and his behavior at times. Cyrus and Tara would never allow Justice to disrespect someone so blatantly, especially a woman. But then again, Justice had his reasons for being the way he was.

As this story developed so many things came to light. I understood Gabrielle more. It became clear why she was the way she was. Clarity is an amazing thing. And MJ kept us asking so many questions over the last couple of books. But those things become clear.

I love MJ. You all know that. This book was so much more than I could have asked for. For me, I felt this book in my soul. I don't know if it's because I love Justice so much, or if because Cyrus has always been mine. Or maybe because I love MJ and how with each new book, she takes us on a new adventure and keeps me wanting more. We have more of the "Crew" to come, but I think I've found my man in this generation. Forever Steel!

Wow so much more angst and drama in this book than the others. This is the first book in this series that actually felt like a ya book with a rating warning of DSL! Who fecking leaves their 15 year old daughter to fend for herself for 2 years?!! What a piece of crap parents Gaby had! Oh and don't even get me started on how unfair Justice was over half way through the book!! I mean I understand getting your heart broke and yes your just 17 but they were doing things and acting like adults most of the time but when he got butt hurt, dude totally a teenage response!! Justice did not dole out justice to Gaby. Yes she was a b't©π in the other books but the old saying don't judge a book by its cover applies here! IF anyone would have cared enough besides Tobias to look beyond the facade Gaby showed maybe we could have gotten our HEA sooner! Still waiting on answers from previous books about Carly's heart but guess since she's still making appearances she's good! Would have been nice for answers! Any who if you can't tell by my review this was my least favorite book in this series! Childish and adult drama, way to much angst bu!!$h'+ equals lowest rating of all books 2.5 stars! Hope Tricks book is less kiddy angst $π•+ let's see. Free with K.U. Read in order as characters build!

4 star Review Justified Steel (Steel Crew #4) by M.J.Fields

If you are a fan of the original Steel series then you will be as excited as I was to jump into Justified Steel and get to know more of the second generation of the Steel family.

It was fun to be back in the Steel world and Justified Steel was a great addition to the series. This time it is Justice and Gabrielle’s story which was at times an emotional roller coaster of a read. These two have history, there’s a fine line between love and hate and that is certainly the case with Justice and Gabrielle.
I had a hard time connecting to Justice at first, his behaviour towards Gabrielle really annoyed me at times, but such is the skill of M J Fields, she turned my opinion around. There were times I laughed, times I swooned, times I was brought to tears but above all I was entertained.
The mystery surrounding Gabrielle’s family added an extra layer to the story and it was great to see some familiar faces popping up throughout. Can Justice and Gabrielle finally work their relationship out and find happiness together? One click and find out.

I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for Justified to be here ever since reading Laced Steel, we had seen glimpses of the hate that Justice "JT" had for Gabrielle "Queenie" and thought it steamed from the hell she'd inflicted on the Steel Crew since their arrival at Seashore but it turns out this hate runs much deeper.

JT is so much like his father Cyrus, loyal, protective, loves his family hard and will do what is needed to ensure they are protected, at times I wanted to slap him, tell him to shut up and think about what he was saying but by the end he'd redeemed himself and proven that he will always fight to protect those he loves and love them hard.

Queenie, god I myself hated this entitled bitch who seemed to have everything and everyone catering to her needs but as time went one we learnt that everything is not always as it seems, we see a much deeper side of her, witness her fighting to survive and finally finding her place in the Crew.

As usual it was good to catch up with the rest of the Crew and the first generation Steel, they'll have you laughing out loud and I for one cannot wait to follow the rest of the Crew and see what lies ahead for them in particular Tris, go read Justified and you'll see why.

This is the fourth book in the Steel Crew series and it the first one I have read. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the books in order to meet all of the players and I plan on going back to the first book myself. Justice is an alpha male who is strong in his own skin but one gets the impression that there is more to him than meets the eye. Gabrielle is the girl that you either love or hate and she is considered “the queen” among her peers. From the beginning these two have had an acrimonious relationship and the banter between them makes you want to get on board and see where these two will land when they finally come up for air. While there is action at the beginning, the pacing was a little slow but picked up as the pages turned as one delves deeper into this twisted history and all that follows with Justice getting the keys to the kingdom. This is one storyline that packs an emotional punch as readers will feel like they are on a roller coaster with all of the drama, secrets and love contained within. I cannot wait to see what this author has in store when the fifth book releases next. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.

I've been looking forward to Justice's story since I started reading the 'Crew' series. I loved the original Steels, but the next gen is proving to be even more delicious. What I love about them is that we get to see just how much everything we loved about the OG Steels has trickled down to their kids. I think the kids are even more over the top than the originals. If that's possible.

This is the first Crew book about a male of the Steel family. So, this is our first look at just how alpha the Steel daddies made their boys. Justice definitely thinks he's the king of the castle. The only problem? He's being forced to put Gabrielle up as his queen. I was so confused why he seemed to hate her so much. Sure, she was a total 'mean girl' to his sister and cousins, but his loathing of her was hard core. The big reveal was something I did not see coming, but wow. It made total sense. And it really made me feel for him.

Wait until you find out the really big secret at the very end. I got all sorts of mushy for Justice. And once again, the Steel men show us that they aren't just tattooed hotties with big attitudes. They have hearts of Steel as well.

I am usually such a huge fan of this authors books. Not to say this one wasn't good, just not as much as others of hers.
I really tried to like Justice but he was nothing but a bully. All because he saved himself for the girl he met when he was barely a teen. When he comes to find her, he see's her with another guy having sex.
You don't find out until later that he saved himself for her for many years later. He did allow some things but sex, he saved for her. Even though she slept with no telling how many just to be the popular girl.
This is what just doesn't add up for me.
How is is that Gabrielle is on her own for about 2 years and no one noticed? She may have had parties, and dressed to impress but did no one notice that she had no staff, neglected yard, no food in her cabinets, and her car being repo'd. Did none of them make them question if something wasn't on the up and up?
I didn't care for the way that Justice and Gabrielle interacted with each other. There was never really a moment they weren't belittling each other.
I love the Steel family so even though this wasn't a favorite it still had a bunch of my favorite characters.

Going into Justified had me equal parts disturbed and terrified... There’s absolutely no way that Justice is old enough to be in school, let alone almost finished school! I feel like it was only about 5 years ago that Cyrus and Tara got their story and had some babies. So on one hand I wasn’t ready for it and on the other hand I was so ready for it. This book and I, it was instalove. And like all of MJ’s books there’s just something about her writing style, about her characters, and the story she writes that has me mesmerised. Justice is the oldest male in the Steel Crew, and he truly is his fathers son. He’s part protector and keeper of the peace, and has strong family values, but he’s also very strongly his own man and will do things his own way. There‘s nothing easy about falling in love for him, in fact it’s gritty, brutal and raw. He thinks “young love’s a joke. The first lie a person tells themselves, and the first scar they inflict upon themselves.” These two seem to be hating each other more. And more than that, they hate that they’re becoming increasingly more attracted to each. It’s sick the things your heart can do to you...
