Echo Bay #2

Unexpected

Rate this book
Sheriff Liam King has spent the last several years as a lone wolf. After losing his wife he figured love was a thing of the past. Until he finds himself the center of two handsome men's attention, that is.

But he's too old for them, right?

For Jax Holden, Echo Bay is all about new beginnings. He loves his job at King Me, the local pub, and is finally learning that he can take care of himself. Until his roommate leaves him and he's left finding a home or a new job to afford the rent. When a new friend offers him a room, he realizes that maybe he’s ready to forget his past and learn what love really means.

Of course, your past always has a way of coming back to haunt you.

Talon Walker is the strong and silent type. He owns his own tattoo shop, The Inked Kraken, and spends his free time with his best friend Jasper, trying to avoid his loneliness. When he sees Jax in need, he offers him a place to stay, making his home a little less lonely.

What could go wrong?

Talon and Jax find themselves falling for each other, but something seems to be missing. When the two new roommates find that they both keep eyeing a certain Daddy Dom type, they formulate a plan to make the rugged sheriff their own.

But can three men with complicated pasts find happiness together or will life pull them apart?

This is an MMM romance intended for readers 18+
This book also contains violence and mentions of past abuse that may be triggering for some readers.

M/M/M romance and excitement.
Jax is a young bartender, beginning again,

from New York to Echo Bay. He works hard and has new friends, and he escaped his abusive, violent ex.
Liam is older, and the Sheriff,
<
a hot hunk, silver fox, whose wife has died and he has grown children. In addition we have Talon,

a tattoo shop owner with long hair and a hunky tattooed body. Both Talon and Jax are interested in Liam.
So, our story shows us young Jax and sexy Talon, where Jax gets to move in instead of being homeless , and they hook up, and plot how they can get Liam to join them.
It's a slow burn, but a worthwhile one, as we get their deepest thoughts, we hear their stories and we are happy for them. When Jax begins to see his ex in odd places, our men rally to keep Jax safe, with family and friends, too.
The sex scenes are hot, with a touch of daddy play, and they grow stronger as individuals as well as a throuple. They hid their trio for awhile, so Liam can tell his children face to face.
After the horrendous attack took them by surprise, we have rescue, recovery and space given, and the reuniting gave us an excellent wrap up.
Worthwhile, profound, sexual and loving.
ENJOY !

Book Two of Echo Bay has all my favorite kinks in one book. Slight Daddy kink, age gap and throw in a threesome and we are golden. Jax, Liam and Talon! Loved all three of these broken men. Looking forward to the next book, unsure who the ladies will pick but they have a lot to chose from!

Received ARC from Author for Honest Review.
I Give this book a 3.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as a 3.

HEA(?): Yes.
Romance: 3.5/5
Heat: 3.5/5
Suspense: 3.5/5
Drama: 3-3.5/5
Relationship Type: MMM, Daddy kink.

No Spoilers.

Minor Issues:
I finishing the book, I still have a little bit of an issue with the way this book opened/opens up, I kinda want to say it’s a ‘generic/common/casual’ contemporary intro to a book, that doesn’t immediately grasp my attention but rather loses it.
(But thats just Me, cause I tend to get bored easily if my attention gets diverted aka I do suffer from the “Ooooh Shiny” disorder Lol)
It’s gotta get my attention from the very first sentence.
But because I’m familiar with one of the authors, I push through the intro and through all the way to the 30% part (around chapter 8) of the book, at which point the book flowed much better, became more steady and less awkward.
The plot/synopsis did/does grasp my attention.
I did have a weird problem focusing on knowing who was whom in the very beginning, I had to reread it a few times cause I almost couldn’t tell each character apart and there were too many characters too early (in my opinion, but again that’s a Me thing).
I had to refamiliarize myself with everyone again (that I knew).
But for those who haven’t read the first book, while you don’t have to, I would recommend reading the first book in this series.
I understand that every character needs a backstory and in this they also have common friends, my issue is is that there are a lot of ‘friends or just random people’ that belong to each main character, that I have to figure out and remember who belongs to whom in certain situations. I know they are entitled to having their own friends cause its 3 different lives, but there are a lot of people in this book.

Liam, Jax & Talons book felt a tad muddied cause there was a lot going on, even though I did like what was going in the book I couldn’t give this book a full 4/5 Star Rating.

I did have a bit of an issue with age deciphering, everyone felt like they were the same age (very young sounding: Late 20’s-ish), but clearly Liam cannot be in that same age range, not that he has to ‘act his age’ it’s just in some areas he felt portrayed very young and not as mature sounding like I was expecting.

recommend

first i want to say, please ignore the negative reviews. I'm glad i did. the most detailed one i read was clearly written by someone who wasn't paying attention. also I highly recommend reading this as soon as you finish Jasper and Ezra's story so the characters make more sense. With that said, I love triads but some authors struggle to bring them together and it feels forced. I don't think that was the case here. Jax, Talon, and the sheriff (Liam aka Daddy King) were so natural together, and each one was equally important to making the relationship come together. I highly recommend this series and hope to see Leo and Gideon each get their own HEA :)

Couldn't get enough of these three

I have loved this three since reading book 1( pranked). I'm super excited that got their own book. We get to see many of the familiar characters from book 1 so I definitely recommend reading it.

I really enjoyed the characters they are all stubborn and each have their own issues that they bring into the realtionship. But at the end of the day they are there for each other which I loved seeing. And whew they had some pretty 🔥🔥 scenes. And I wouldn't mind seeing some more of them 😉 I couldn't g t enough of Talon, Daddy King and Jax

3.5/5⭐

So daddy kink isn't my go to sub genre and I stay away from MMM unless it's paranormal but I really enjoyed the first book in the series and all the characters so I couldn't resist giving this a go. I was pleasantly surprised with home much I did enjoy it. I loved the crew as much as I did the first time I met them and Liam, Jax and Talon work together pretty well. They each had such different personalities, but Jax was definitely the most fun even though his past was the darkest. I'm looking forward to whatever book comes next in this series .😊

Okay, so this book isn't even on the Zon anymore. The authors pulled it and maybe one day will finish out the series which I'm hoping they do one day because ya girl has questions.

This story was so cute and I really enjoyed it. I love a good MM and making it MMM was panty-melting. I am taking 1 panty away because once again I'm a vicious selfish bitch and I wanted to see Daddy top Jax and I would have LOVED to see Daddy bottom, I know he's a daddy and all that but I wanted to be there when he had his first time bottoming.

This series gets better and better!

I loved this one! Talon, Jax and “Daddy” Liam are meant for each other! This one has the sweetness of new romance and second chances at new love, but it also has the drama and aftermath of confronting a very troubling past. Thank goodness they’ve all got each other and an amazing group of friends to lean on. With some new faces moving into Echo Bay, I have a feeling things are just going to get more and more interesting...

So good! I really enjoyed the second installment in the Echo Bay series. I love a good poly story and this one was great. Daddy King is smoking hot and takes on a couple of Boys looking for some stability. There is definitely more angst in this one than the first, but it all worked well with the story. I feel like our cast of characters is getting bigger and bigger with each book and it makes me look forward to seeing the series grow. Can’t wait for the next.

Really good book

Liam, Jax and Talon were great together. I loved the connection you could see forming in the first book and I loved how the story panned out for these three characters.

They all brought something to the story and the three of them together was hot.

I really enjoyed the dynamic, how each character had his own voice.

I can't wait to see what's next in this series

I have never been much into the male, male trope but I gotta say J.J. and Suki have pulled me out of my comfort zone with their Echo Bay series. This book was totally unexpected and gave me so many feels. It was sweet with tragic pasts intertwined to create a masterful piece of work that I know I will treasure.

I loved Pranked but this I just liked. Daddy kink isn't really for me but at least there wasn't any proper age play. Liked the whole throuple thing but Liam was just a little too old for it to work right I think. I spent a lot of time wondering which couple/group would be the focus of the next book. My bet is on Leo as he recovers and maybe Zack

Great book

I am excited about this series. In this story, Jax, Talon and Sheriff Liam King figure out that the three of them belong together. Add in some great Daddy kink, trouble with Jax's ex and a very funny Leo and it's a great story. I can't wait to see who we get to read about next.

The title says it all! This book was completely unexpected, but in the best way! You get to go on a crazy journey with three totally different men that somehow fit perfectly together! I loved getting to read their story and would be happy reading more and more! These ladies did an amazing job and I can't wait for what is to come from Echo Bay!

Sweet mother of pearl!! This book needs to come with a warning: excessive fanning of oneself and or cold showers required to get through it! Opening prank was amazing! This is what the first book was missing. I’m not crazy about the term “daddy” I find it a bit weird...but hey to each his own 🤣🤣 I still am not a Levi fan 😒 but he’s wearing me down. A little.
