3.5⭐ I'm not an expert but it seems that manga, by necessity, has to be loosely woven and pretty plot-holey, which leaves me kind of unsatisfied. It's like cheesecloth rather than satin, if you get me. But it was a page turner with a cool setting and excellent art.
I loved this so much, i just absolutely love stories like these. So much complexity and depth in the social commentary and i think the use of children as the main protagonists to execute the story was an excellent choice. It’s gonna be really hard to top this off as the best thing i read this year.
