I live in England, in a quaint little village that time doesn't seem to have touched. No, wait a minute- that's the retirement biography. Right now I am in England in a medium sized town that no one has ever heard of, so I won't bore you with the details. Keeping me company are numerous sexy men. I just wish that they weren't all inside my head.

Please note, L.M. Brown is no longer active on Goodreads. Although she does occasionally check in to comment on another's blog the visits are few and far between.

4 happily ever after stars!

This sweet and sappy (in a good way) fairy tale was full of fluff, a dash of heat with two MC's that I would love to see another story written about. I feel like this story just scratches the surface of these two and think there is so much more to be discovered. That said if this is all we get of Aiden and Robert, at least we got this much. Four stars because the piece is not as polished as i would have liked and that disrupted the flow just a bit. All in all I loved this story and plan on reading the rest of this series ASAP!

Hmmm. I liked some parts of this story. I certainly liked Robert, cross-dressing young artist, who was in love with Prince Aiden. I liked Marcus, Aiden's best friend and his father, the King. There were moments filled with sarcasm and humor that made me chuckle. I really disliked Aiden though. The way he was behaving, all high-handed and downright rude, was so bad. I hated him when he dismissed Robert and tried to make into someone he was not. The story had a romantic twist that brought both men together in the end, but I couldn't overlook Aiden's behavior. I think it soured the book for me. As for the story itself, it was cute with a handful of fairy tale points tied together - Rapunzel, Snow White and Frog Prince. Last part of the book had a fair amount of steam and a nice HEA.

Just an okay story; thus my standard 3-stars ...

Prince Aiden is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Aiden keeps insisting that Robert cannot be a woman because Robert likes to wear women's dresses (and Robert wears his hair long). I lose any reason to care for Aiden at that point.

I don't really care for either Aiden or Robert. In fact, my favorite characters are The King (Aiden's father) and Marcus (Aiden's best friend). Though one might find the idea of several fairy tale concepts making a 'cameo' as entertaining (for example, Aiden's grandfather is the Frog Prince).

This book was just adorable! A first for me is the Prince charming being such a himbo. He is a good and exceedingly handsome person but his IQ is on the low average scale. He snores, slow to get punch lines and half the time says something really tactless but clueless about it. I love King Stefan, Marcus and of course Robert. This is a light angst free fun read I recommend to anyone who wants to smile.

I really liked this book. The characters are flawed, they make bad choices, they're slow, confused and downright stupid in places. They can be boring, irritating, frustrating and all those other things that make people people, In other words they're very well rounded and they act like people do. They're REAL.

The story is charming, although sometimes it's strained and there are cliches scattered through it. So what.

The story made me smile. It made me angry. It annoyed and frustrated me. It scared me and on occasion made me laugh out loud. I LOVED Robert. He was an ordinary man put in an impossible situation and did his best to get out of it intact.

Yes, the book has faults. ALL books have faults but I find it hard to point to any right now.

I would be more than happy to recommend this book.

What happens in a world where fairy tales, and the characters that inhabit them, are real? When they suddenly start behaving as if they were real people – yet not? In this delightful mix of make-believe and real world, anything is possible (just like in a fairy tale), yet tinged with a humorous commentary that made me laugh out loud. Of course the fact that the damsel in distress is neither a damsel nor needs rescue, added to Prince Charming being a little slow on the uptake (or is he?) only made this look at a variation on Rapunzel even funnier.

I was glad to have read this book when I did. It’s filled with humor and it’s a fun and a sexy romance that kept this reader’s attention all through the story. I am a fan of fairy-tale romances, (I still blame Disney…lol) and I thought Let Down Your Hair by LM Brown had a refreshing and unique spin off of a well-loved tale.

Prince Aiden is looking for his one true love. His mother, the queen, has always expressed how important it is for him to find his princess, whether it’s to slay a dragon to get to her, or awaken her while she’s having a long beauty sleep, this is something Prince Aiden is determined to do. In the land he lives in, fairy tale stories are true. There is a Snow White, Cinderella and so forth, but he doesn’t want them. He’s determined to find his princess with long hair hidden away in some dark tower, so he can rescue her and live happily ever after.

Determined to save his own ‘Rapunzel’ he finds a tower and calls up for her to let down her hair so he may climb up and save her. But, things don’t go as planned. As much as he calls out to her, ‘Rapunzel’ never does as she’s supposed too, instead he gets a bucket full of water dropped on his head. Determined, Prince Aiden ends up breaking in a door and finds a beautiful maiden with long, luscious hair.

Robert can’t believe how determined Prince Aiden is to make him his ‘bride’. No matter how many times Robert tells him, she is really a he AND Robert just likes to dress up in women’s clothes every now and then, the Prince does not believe him. Now, Robert finds himself whisked away to the Prince’s castle and married before he knows what hits him. Now what is going to happen when the Prince finally realizes the truth?

I was surprised by the humor and the lightheartedness of this book. I had many laugh out loud moments and the ending left a big smile on my face. Both heroes are definitely likeable and stubborn, determined men. Like Robert, I wanted to knock some sense into Prince Aiden’s head a few times, and once he finally opened his eyes, I wanted to stand up and cheer for both of them.

Let Down Your Hair is definitely a sweet and sexy read. I enjoyed the banter between the two heroes and loved all of the secondary characters in this book. It gave me a couple of hours of enjoyment and I recommend it to anyone who loves a fairy-taled themed romance that will definitely leave you with a smile on your face.

I’m not sure if I just read this book at exactly the right time or what, but I read it and then read it again. It’s just adorable. Prince Aiden can be forgiven at first for mistaking Robert for Roberta. After all, he goes to the tower expecting Rapunzel. Why should he question the long haired person in the dress who he finds? Even when said person tries to tell him it’s Robert, not Roberta or Rapunzel. Prince Aiden, not the brightest of royalty, believes in fairy tales and wants his true love. Didn’t the sign even say, this way to True Love Tower? It must be so!

The characters in this book are very accepting, caring and fun. They may worry about things (Prince Aiden worrying about what his subjects might think, for example) but they are truly the best stuff of fairy tales. Lord Marcus is the amazing best friend, the Queen is a little ditzy but kind-hearted, the King is, above all else, a father who dearly loves his son, the Prince is vulnerable and sweet and Robert, well, Robert is just perfect. I adored Robert.

There are parts that made me smile ad some that made me sad for Robert. The curse? Pure brilliance for an explanation. The book would have been at least a 4 regardless, but that bumped it up because I loved the idea. The sex is so endearingly begun, clueless and nervous and sweet.

This author did what is so difficult in my opinion: took a fairy tale setting and made it seem new again. Fairy tales are a favorite of mine, and this short one is being added to my favorites shelf. Very recommended.

I love this for what it was...

And what was it??

A completely satire piece on the retelling of an MM version of Rapunzel. Doesn’t that just sounds great?

I do have to admit though that Aidens stupidity and actions really pissed me off a majority of the time and I could have easily trashed this book rather than loved it. The thing that saved the book for me was the fact that it was clearly written as satire and even the king talked about how “un bright” his son is, and the fact that this was a short novella, had it been any longer I would have hated it.

Seriously though... God help the kingdom that Aiden is supposed to inherit...

A little about the story.

Aiden is a prince that is on a mission to fetch a bride, he is my kind of lazy and goes for the one he thinks would be easiest, which would be Rapunzel. Which is when he meets Robert, a commoner in a tower that happens to enjoy wearing gowns. Aiden marries and pretty much continually insists Robert is a girl until Robert let’s the cock out of the bag. (See what I did there?!?!) From there is their journey to see if they can make it work or if it’s a lost cause.

There is also a little bit of magics working in the background and well as a noisy friend an king.

And who I will say that although LM Browns books are never a hit out the park, I am definitely stating to enjoy the uniqueness of them.

He knew exactly what was due east and if his parents wanted him to bring a bride back to the castle, then heading towards the fire-breathing dragon was the wrong way to go about it. Any princess daft enough to get herself captured by a dragon was on her own.

"You're cutting off the circulation in my arm," Aiden whispered into his ear as the guests cheered their arrival. Robert loosened his grasp. "Sorry." "Just remember, you're supposed to be a delicate princess, not an arm wrestler."

This site is down. Here is the review.

I have been looking forward to this story since I first saw it on the Silver Coming Soon page. The blurb and the excerpt just sucked me in and I couldn’t be happier. This is one of the most funny, sweet and romantic stories I’ve read in quite a while. Every single character in this story is just perfect.

Aiden is a handsome prince who sets out on a quest to find his damsel in distress to rescue and bring home as his bride. While Aiden may be rich and handsome, his is not necessarily the sharpest tool in the shed. He’s a bit naïve and he sometimes sees what he wants to see rather than what is really right in front of him.

Robert is a painter and sometimes likes to dress in his beloved mother’s gowns. He has beautiful long blonde hair and is frequently mistaken for Rapunzel. He hopes that someday his Prince will come, but he doesn’t believe that he will ever get a Happily Ever After. He has been pining away in his tower painting and sending along all the errant princes who keep confusing him for a damsel in distress. Aiden however, will not be dissuaded and manages to get into the tower spends the night inside. He refuses to believe that Robert is a man and the next day insists that they must be married because Robert(a)’s virtue is now compromised by his presence in the tower overnight. Robert is intimidated by Aiden’s company of men and gives in. Finally on their wedding night, Aiden is confronted by the reality of Robert being a man but he is adamant that they are married and will remain so. For some reason, I kept flashing back to that scene in Victor/Victoria when the inspector announces that Victor is either a man or that is the greatest disguise he has ever seen. But I digress.

Robert and Aiden then have to return to Aiden’s kingdom where they will live. Aiden’s friend Lord Marcus is hilarious trying to get Aiden to see what’s in front of him, but he just simply refuses. He has Robert dress in his mother’s gowns and calls him Roberta and decides that they will just go on and pretend that he is a woman. The Queen is a bit nearsighted and she wants to believe that Aiden has found his damsel so she doesn’t question them although she is a bit disappointed that Aiden has not had to slay a dragon or anything to win Robert(a) as befits a Prince.

The King however is not so naïve as either the Queen or Aiden and he sees Robert for who he is immediately and welcomes him. He is happy that Aiden has Robert and tells Robert some great stories about Aiden and his brother and the Queen. He is not surprised at all that Aiden has come back with a man but he agrees to continue the charade – for now.

The time comes for a ball to present Robert(a) and after all the stress of the pretense, Aiden still cannot understand why Robert he does not want to keep playing his role as a woman. Robert becomes quite angry at Aiden for refusing to let him be himself and wear men’s clothing and treat him like a man. He’s disappointed, but he’s not surprised because he never believed he’d get a happy ending. He resigns himself to his fate to be alone and unhappy.

At this point, the King and Marcus decide that they need to intervene to get Aiden to do the right thing and admit that he loves Robert – and make an honest man out of him. Of course like everything else in this story, it doesn’t quite go as smoothly as we hope. But things do work out for the best.

Every single thing about this story is spot on. Each character plays his or her part in the story and the result is so funny and sweet and it all leads to a comical and happy ending. There are laughs throughout that made me just want to keep reading without stopping. I recommend this to everyone – it’s definitely one of the best fun fantasy stories I’ve read in a long time.

Aiden is on a quest to find his princess and mistakes Robert for a damsel in distress, determined to make ‘Roberta’ his he refuses to believe what Robert confesses, now Aiden has to face his fears to keep the one he has fallen in love with. Robert is fed up with prince’s mistaking his tower for that of a princess’s and he is confused as to what to do when one refuses to believe he is a man, now married to the handsome prince he has to convince Aiden to accept him for who he is and not what Aiden expects.

Oh this was a delightful story that was warm-hearted and gave me a few chuckles. Aiden is a bit of an ermmm… airhead, he believes what he wants to believe and he believes that he has finally found the perfect princess for him, but discovering the truth isn’t quite as bad as it may seem as long as no one else discovers the truth. Robert may like to wear a dress on the odd occasion but it doesn’t make him a woman, now if only he can get it through the thick head of his new husband that he is a man and wants to be treated like a man and not a damsel in distress, then they just might make it.

I loved the characters of this book from Aiden and Robert to Aiden’s father King Stefan; they were all delightful and fun to read about. There are mentions of various fairy-tales from Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty to The Frog Prince with the appearance of The Magic Mirror, they are all woven well into this enchanting little story to make your lips twitch and bring a smile to your face, and you wonder when Aiden will finally get a clue and man up to what he really wants.

I am going to recommend this to those who love fun fairy-tales, great characters, some hot lovin’, a few chuckles and a very happy fairy-tale ending.

Let Down Your Hair is a hilarious extremely enjoyable twist on traditional fairytales. The plot is creative and all the characters are wonderfully amusing. Aiden is a charming romantic, though a little slow to grasp the circumstances he needed to deal with. Aiden’s mission started out as a duty. However, discovering that he was more than a little attracted to Robert’s male form motivated Aiden to complete his mission. Robert was opposed to the pretense, but he had secretly loved Aiden for years so he yielded to Aiden’s wishes. With the help of the more astute secondary characters, as well as magic, Aiden and Robert were able to have an open loving relationship.

Three guesses - it's a fairy tale! It's sugary sweet with magic mirrors and true love's kiss and a happy ending you can really believe because, duh! it's a fairy tale story! Aiden is dumb but good looking and not intentionally mean, Robert is all around nice guy, the king was too good to be true, everything was sappy and nice and free of angst. Exactly what it says on the tin basically - a gay fairy tale.

Prince Aiden is on a quest. His parents asked him to find a bride and take her home. His family's tradition tells that each future king must rescue his bride, and which better place to find a damsel in distress if not in the Enchanted forest?. Prince Aiden wants to rescue Rapunzel from her tower and he will not give up till the woman is with him. When he finally finds the tower he starts screaming for the woman to put down her hair so he can rescue her. Robert watches the men under his tower, the prince is really annoying him, so he decides to pour some water out of the window and hit him. Sadly the prince doesnt give up. When Aiden starts to bang on the door, Robert has no choice than answer and make them finally leave.He tells the prince that Rapunzel doesnt live here, this is the wrong tower and anyway she is living already with her prince.Rober tries to make the prince understand that he is a man, also if he is wearing femal's clothes at the moment a thing that he does to remember his mother who died some time ago, but that doesnt make him less than a man and for sure he doesnt dress all time like that. The prince thinks he is lying and tells him they will go get married immediately, but in the end the prince is so tired that he falls asleep soon after their talk. Robert leaves him there and goes to his bedroom to sleep. The next morning prince Aiden still wants to marry him. The prince is w8 for him downstairs and Robert really doesnt know what to do, he asks to his magic mirror what to do and the mirror tells him to follow his heart. Robert and Aiden get married, but Robert insists on staying in the tower for one more night. Is night and this should be their wedding night, but Robert doesnt have any intention of losing his virginity, he is tired of faking of being a lady. He undresses infront of the prince and finally the man cant ignore anymore the fact that Robert isnt Roberta. The man is too stubborn though, and he tells Robert that he doesnt care if he is a man, and that he will come to the castle as his bride anyway. When Robert asks him how he will pass as a lady, the prince tells him that he should cotinue dressing as one. The prince asks him why he married him, and Robert tells him that he was scared someone would hurt him, when they found out he was just a man dressing as a woman, but the prince replies that none of his men would have hurt him, and Robert says that something like thathad happened in the past. Robert still doesnt want to leave the tower, but Aiden tells him he has no choice.
The next morning Aiden doesnt find him in the bed and goes to search for him. Rober is in his studio (he likes to paint) talking with his magic mirror. When he hears Aiden opening the door he hides it. Aiden asks him what he was doing and Robert says that he was painting , but when the prince asks him to see some of his canvas he sharply answers no, and tells the prince that he thought they didnt have time and needed to go.

While leaving the tower Robert notices that the sign he had put saying that Rapunzel's tower was some miles away, is now saying that this tower holds true love. Someone changed it and put him in this mess.

Back at the castle, Rober meets the queen. The woman is all about romance and asks his son how he rescued his bride, if there was a dragon, etc... when she understands that none of that happened she is a bit disappointed. Robert that wants to help Aiden tells the queen that he is under a curse that makes him a lady by night and a man during the day. When the queen asks them how to break the curse they say that are working on it. The woman really wants to belive in true love and this answer make her happy.

Later that night Aiden asks Robert why he come with him, but the young man doesnt want to answer and just tells him that he should be happy he did. Rober then asks him what will happen when Aiden finds his real true love, but the other man doesnt answer, insted he asks the same question. Robert answers that he has already found his true love, Aiden wants to know if the lady was hiding in the tower and Robert tells him that he didnt say his true love was a lady. He then kisses Aiden.

{"What was that?"...."I belive it's called a kiss."....."There's no need for sarcasm. Why did you kiss me?"..."Since you insist I play the part, I figured I can kiss you if I want to."......"But why would you want to?"......"Damned if I know."}

{"Have you ever done that before? Kissed another man, I mean."......"No."..."Do you like me?"..."Would I have kissed you if I didn't?"...."So you like me?"...."I suppose so."....."It's only natural, I guess, Everyone is waiting for the handsome prince to come rescue them from their dreary lives."..."My live wasn't dreary."....."I notice you didn't question my handsomeness."}

Robert hits him with a pillow and goes back to sleep. Aiden is a good man also if a bit slow sometime.

Aiden can't stop thinking about their kiss, and while watching Robert take a bath in their room, he starts to touch himself. He is embarassed when Robert asks him if the offer for a massage is still open and then turns and sees him.

Aiden replies that of course the offer is till there and Robert climbs next to him on the bed.

{"You will wash your hands first, won't you?"...."For a prince you're remarkably easy to embarass."}
{"For a princess, you're remarkably easy."}
{"Easy to what?"}
{"Just easy."}

Robert tells him that btw them there was only a kiss and not even a good one, and Aiden says that they could fix it, but Robert thinks that the kiss was only a mistake. Aiden then says that he pratically told him he was his one true love. While Aiden is sure that true love kiss can conquer all, Robert isnt so sure and he reminds him that he is only with Aiden for the time that will take him to find his princess. But Aiden isnt so sure anymore that he wants someone else in his life.

Aiden is out hunting, when one day the King finds Robert and the 2 start talking. The King knows that he is a man, but he doesnt care. He wants his son to be happy and also if the boy doesnt understand it, he is in love with Robert already.
The king then tells to Robert about his encounter with the queen. The woman had refused many suitors, bcs she wanted a love like the one of the fairy tails, and she belived that one of the frogs in the garden was a prince under a curse. The king then had decided to put a little crow on a frog and when the woman had kissed the frog, thanks to the help of one of his men that had distracted her, he had come out and had taken the place of the frog. She had believed to have finally found her prince thanks to the kiss of true love and since that time they had been living happily. The moral of the story is that sometimes ppl need help in understanding what they really want and the King is offering Rober his help,since Aiden is a bit like his mother.

That night at the ball, Robert understands that also Marcus, the prince's best friend knows that he isnt a woman. Marcus is loyal, smart and sassy a little like Robert minus the lady's clothes. The man tries to make the prince understand that if he continues like this he is gonna lose Robert. He tells to Aiden that Robert is in love with him and asks him if he wants Robert. Aiden replies yes, but his pride makes him unable to tell to te entire court that he loves a man.

Aiden runs after Robert. Robert is pissed and tells him he doesnt want to act as a lady anymore and that if he wants one, he can go back in the ballroom and find one there. Aident tells him that he wants him. He wants him as his husband.

Both of them have never been with a man, and Aiden has had only 2 previous experience with women and we dont know if he ever went all the way with one of them. When Aiden asks Robert if he can kiss him, the other man says that they already kissed one time and that Aiden didnt seem to like it. The prince tells him that he was only surprised that time.

Their kiss is sweet at start but after the passion btw them makes it heated and they pratically get off while embracing.

Robert is finally sure that the prince has accepted him as a man, but when the next day he asks the prince to go hunt with him and Aiden replies that the dress for hunting isnt ready yet, he gets pissed. The prince is more worried about what will the kingdom think about his bride being a man, than Robert's feelings. When Aiden leaves to go hunting, Robert cuts his long blond hair. Now no one will think anymore that he is a lady.

When Marcus sees Aiden coming alone he asks where is Robert and when Aiden explains what happened he tells his friend that he is a fool and that he is driving Rober away.

Robert is walking out of the castle when he sees a set of brushes that he wants to buy, but he doesnt have any money with him. A man comes behind him and buys them for him. Is the King. The older man asks Rober to walk with him.The King knows that Robert wants to leave, but maybe they can fix this. He has a plan.

When Aiden goest back to the castle, he searches for Robert, but doesnt find him. His father tells him that Robert left and that if he cares about him, yes he knows all, he should go and take him back. Aiden takes an horse and leaves the castle. He doesnt know that Robert is still there and all was an acting.

He goes back to the tower, but all is silent and dark. No one seems being there. He tries the door and is unlocked a light coming from upstairs. He follows it and arrives to the study. There he finds Robert's canvas.

A lot of them are about he and Robert together and where done long before they met.

{"Oh, Robert"...."How long have you been waiting for me to find you?"}

Robert had come back to the castle with him,bcs he loved him.

These words were a bit sad,i kept thinking about Robert all alone in that tower,watching the man he had fallen in love with, through the mirror and maybe believing that one day he would find him, but never being sure of it.

Under the last sheet he finds the mirror and understands how Robert was able to watch him during those years. The mirror shows him Robert's death.

Aiden runs out of the tower and towards the castle. When he arrives he finds Robert'lying and pale and when he asks what happend they tell him someone cursed him. This is all part of the plan to make Aiden understand his feelings, but part of the plan wasnt giving Robert more of the necessary dosage and when Aiden kisses him and he doesnt wake up the King and Marcus understand that something is wrong. When Aiden understands what happened, he is angry, but now his priority is to save the man he loves.

A figure Aiden had seen in the magic mirror appears in the room. Is Robert's mother, and the woman asks Aiden if he loves his son. When Aiden replies that he does, the woman asks him if he loves him enough to let him be himself and he nods. The woman saves Robert.

They decide then to tell to the crowd the truth about the non existing-curse and the ppl accept them and still love them.

Soon after they decide to go on a ride and the King asks them to be back for dinner.Aiden takes Robert to his great-grand parents castle. There they have their first time together (Robert is the top!, but I'm sure that they will like to change roles sometimes in the future).

{R-"I've no idea what I'm doing." ...A-"Me neither."....A-"We'll figure things out together."}

They decide that the huge castle will be their future home.

They are going back to the castle when Marcus arrives and tells them that all are w8 for them.When Aiden asks why, Marcus replies that the King wants them to be married again, this time with all knowing the truth.

All were w8 for them in the chapel and well they are really late, being midnight. The King changed the law to make 2 men able to marry. While kissing his now husband, Robert sees his mother in the corner of the room and smiles in the kiss. His mother wedding gift is his hair. His blond hair are long again.

The book ends with Rober asking Aiden what will happen now and Aiden replying that now they will live like in all fairy tails, happily even after.

Loved it, funny, with a lot of bickering and sweet young love.

A fun twist in a fairy tale world

This was a fun fairy tale in an unexpected world. This world is the world of fairy tales, but many years down the road. There have been toad princes and sleeping beauties, dragons and dragon slayers, and of course curses solved by true loves kiss. Princes are still expected to save their princess, but these days curses aren't exactly around and someone living in a tower might just be living in their home. This is where we find Prince Aiden venturing out to find a princess, but instead coming across Robert alone in a tower.

Aiden is a bit of a difficult character. He is rather daft and not in a sweet way. When he first meets Robert, Aiden simply believes he must be a women because who else wears dresses? Aiden continues along, oblivious and belligerent, insisting they marry. The man really needs a smack in the head with how he acts. After the wedding goes through and Aiden finally realized that Robert really is a man he isn't disgusted or disappointed, but that reaction confuses him. Aiden wants Robert but it takes him time to truly express that and he willing to tell a kingdom.

Robert knows that loving men and wearing women's clothes sometimes are seen as deviant behaviour. He has come across violence for his choices in the past. Aiden's belligerent behaviour angers him, but there is no violence or disgust. In the kingdom Robert is surprised to find acceptance from people for who he is and a passion in Aiden that lights him up. But Aiden wants Robert to be a secret and no love can survive that way. Robert has to show Aiden what he wants in a life together. As it turns out, all the magic and mystery may not be gone from this fairy tale world.

This is a delightful, funny, sometimes irreverent version of Rapunzel with a prince who isn’t the brightest light in the chandelier, and a cross-dressing artist determined to be his own man (as well as his prince’s). There’s plenty of neat turns of phrase and references here and there to other fairy tales and even an Arthurian legend. Aiden is portrayed as stubbornly single-minded but sweet, though slightly obtuse in not accepting what’s plain to everyone else, and Robert is just as determined not to live a lie even if it means losing his One True Love.

All in all, this is a thoroughly entertaining story which will give you more than a chuckle or two. If you like fractured fairy tales, you’ll love this one. I recommend it.

This was a lovely fairy tale; witty and gorgeous.
Lovely writing throughout and I was just sorry it ended. I wish it had been longer!
I hope L. M. Brown writes some more fairy tales, because I will be first in the queue to buy them. She was a new author to me, and I'm excited to find her. Her writing is reminiscent of my great favourite, Megan Derr, and many of her Less Than Three Press's authors.
Another beautiful cover by Reese Dante, and this time the book truly deserved it.

Very funny story about the handsome (but not the brightest bulb in the box) Prince Aidan on a quest to find his princess and rescue her. He manages to find and finally convinces Princess Rapunzel... ummmm Robert-a to marry him.

Humerous and quirky, this was a fun fairy tale about True Love's Kiss and everything it can overcome.

In my perfect world, this author would re-write all of the classic fairy tales in similar ways to this. I literally laughed out loud at one point - over the bet the hero's friends made - I thought it was perfect. Let Down Your Hair might be my favorite re-telling of Rapunzel yet.

Brilliant and funny

I have wanted to read a MM retelling of Rapunzel for the longest time and this author delivered. I loved this, it was so fun and funny with great characters. I'm already looking forward to the other fairytale re-tellings.
