And then that happened...

Evangeline had finally gotten her team running perfectly. Yes, they are members of the Black Ops Paranormal Police Department, which means they are technically the team of the Directors, but that isn't how it works internally. Even the Directors are bowing to her decisions now...mostly.

That's what happens when a hellion begins to grow.

She takes over.

But the tables turn when Eve and her crew find out that the super drug being used to turn normals into crazed killers is back on the market, and it's being supported by the Los Angeles Paranormal Police Department. Having been in the Guard for the majority of her life, there are few things Eve despises more than dirty cops.

Andras, however, has the mob working smoothly at this point. He's still listing his number-one priority as finding and killing Eve, but that seems to be less of a concern to him these days. The power he's wielding topside is far greater than anything he can expect playing in House Varaz. Success at completing the Rite of Decimation would help, certainly, but he knows full well that the council will never let him rule as they should. That means Andras has a new focus. And that puts him at odds with Eve more than ever.

As if that wasn't bad enough, there is a new hellwolf in town who's chomping at the bit to kill Kayson, and a set of Dark Wizards who are looking to extract the Core of Discernment from Cruze. With dirty cops handing out mind-controlling drugs like mad, Andras doing his best to bring the worst criminals into his enterprise, a new hellwolf threat, and Dark Magic users trying to unleash an old source of power...Eve has to do everything she can to keep the world intact.

But when yet another new threat is revealed, it threatens to shatter everything about the Black Ops PPD.

Pain and death are coming...

The depth of the story increases with each volume of this series, and Uncherished increases this trend exponentially. The twists, turns, and backstabbing intensify as the line between friend and foe wavers, threatening complete eradication as battle lines shuffle. Action paces the story exquisitely, with schemes within schemes battered by counter-schemes throttling up the entertainment quotient. An absolutely great time, full of intrigue and surprises.

The truth comes out - betrayals, new allies and death

Awesome. Action packed, fast paced and more twists then a helter-skelter. Who is friend and who is the enemy? As the team investigate an area called Death Valley they find full scale production of the drugs that turn normals into cannibalistic killing machines that follow orders until they drop. With the Dark Witch and the hellwolves after them can the team take down this new threat?
A betrayal and a conversion shake them down to their very roots. Who can be trusted? Will Saffron use her powers as a succubus to further her 'leader's' surge for power? With no headquarters or places to hide and their heads on wanted posters what, where can they turn to now?
Absolutely brilliant and the new facets of the characters open more than a few eyes and pose more than a few questions. Can they get over their differences and act in unity against a threat to both Topside and the Badlands?

Very exciting, thrilling, fast-paced, and laugh out loud funny.

The fourth installment to the Black Ops Paranormal Police Department series is very thrilling, exciting and fast-paced. Sinister: Uncherished pits Evangeline against those wanting to kill her and finish the Rite of Decimation as well as the new threat of someone waiting in the wings trying to destroy her. Evangeline is a strong, snarky, loyal character that takes charge of everything and everyone around her. With her very existence hanging in the balance, she bonds even stronger with her team and boldly tries to keep everyone safe and stay true to her mentor's teaching. This book is full of twists and turns and an exciting end that will leave you anxiously waiting for more.

To put it quite simply, ‘Uncherished’ is fantastic!

Book four in the series, continues to develop the
story of Evangeline & her Black Ops PPD team
alongside ever more dangerous & challenging
enemies old & new!

This book is as full of action, magic, good &
dastardly deeds, as its three predecessors!
I could not put it down until I’d finished it!!

I am certain that anyone who starts reading
this series, will find themselves drawn into
the paranormal Police Department (PPD)
world and will want to read all the other PPD series as well.

John P Logsdon and Christopher P Young don't fail to disappoint in this next installment of the sinister series. Evangeline and her friends are flung in another highly action packed adventure. With more one liners which will have you crying with laughter, the introduction of new characters and the evolution of others which will have you gasping in astonishment. I read this book in one night as the story was so engrossing and enjoyable to read. I can't sing the merits of uncherised enough. Do yourself a favour and buy it!!!

Uncherished is the latest book in the Sinister Series by John Logsdon and Cristopher Young. The saga of Evangeline the Hellion continues as Eve
attempts to survive for the one year required by Hellion laws. She grows and matures. We learn more backstory for her and her PPD "family". The plot offers wildly unpredictable twists. turns and author introduces new characters. The action is nonstop, the snark is monumental and the name calling is mind boggling. I highly recommend this tale of survival and bonding. Warning--- this one is not for the faint of heart.

Wow. What a Twist...
Things are coming to a head with the Hellion run L.A. Mob. Eve and her team are attempting to shut down the drug X-Tresin production in Death Valley. Even if it's successful, there's still the final showdown with the Hellion Mob boss. And he's got a Dark Witch and three Dark Wizards backing him up. All is not as it seems and the final showdown will leave you wanting more. A must read.

Book 4 WOW! Eve is kick butt.

Uncherished was amazing. I don't want to spoil anything for other readers. I will simply say there are many major twists and turns and a few minor things that come to light! Definitely worth reading. You don't necessarily have to read the whole series but it helps make each book more intense and enjoyable. Christopher and John have done an incredible job building these characters and black ops PPD rocks!

Whole series is fun

Female characters are written quite realistically particularly since authors are male. There's lots of fun humor & if you want to expand your name calling vocabulary- this series is your guide! Also, while adult sex happens, there are no annoying play by plays or over sharing of details which I really appreciate.
Truly enjoying- yet Again!- another series from these two!

Only gets better and better

The Sinister series is the best series set in the PPD universe. This book tops each one that has come before it! OMG!

Everything and anything happens. New alliances form, old alliance die fairly tragically and there are so many surprises! You are not going want to put this down so make sure you have some time set aside to read it.

INCREDIBLE!!

Another awesome book!

This was another awesome book about Eve and her merry band of misfits. I am not usually surprised in a book, but it had a twist I definitely did not see coming. Good job Mr. Logsdon and Mr. Young, very good job indeed. I can't wait for book 5 to come out to see what Eve does next.

Absolutely Brilliant

An amazing piece of writing on this as it kept me guessing right to the end with even more than the usual twists.
NO spoilers but any fan of the previous books will be more than happy with this one

Awesome as usual

In the immortal words of Oliver “More Please”. The only thing missing is a couple of 80’s hard rock lyrics or a Pink Floyd Quote. Personally I think “ how can you have any pudding, if you don’t eat your meat” could easily be worked in. But that’s just me.
