“You’ve been my black love story!” Y’all!!!! Y’all!!!!! Omg the way I loved this series is SICKENING!! I don’t think it has ever taken me this long to get through a book. I did not want it to end!! LB continues to effortless show why she’s one of THE BEST to ever do it!

Bilan and Sadik had some full circle moments in book 3. Bilan….. sis!!! You made me so proud in this last book 🤣😩 the way she gathered EVERYONE…..whew 😮‍💨 she was not playing!!! My heart is full after reading this series. It was beyond what I could have ever expected. This was Bilan’s book with everyone else as supporting cast members. The Ellis family was a mess and they needed cleaning up badly! There was so much chaos and deceit happening that they were left vulnerable to attacks by their enemies BUT BILAN!! 🤣🤣🤣 she saw the potential in this family. She saw the love and the power they truly possessed and she made it her life’s goal to restore the nucleus that is the Ellises. Sis had her hand full not only with the family but with Tiffany 😒 Sofia 😒 and Randi 😒!! When I tell you these three heaux’s had some balls on them!!!! But Bilan definitely proved hers were bigger!

I’m not going to hold y’all because I’m the one that’s late to the LB party! If you’ve read the series then you know how amazing it is and if you haven’t, what tf are you waiting for!!!

Another great series by Love! I loved this series so much!! Sadik and his BDE! I’ve finally made it back to where I started with LB’s books - Muted Hopelessness series. Think I’m going to listen to book 3 again since I know a lot of the people in it now.

This series was amazing. It was good, but Bilan stole the show in this book. Bilan was not someone to mess with. She was bringing together the entire Ellis family and their dysfunctional ways. It was wonderful to witness her progress from book one, as she didn't play about her family. Sadik remains the guy he is, taking care of his family. His confidence, brilliance, and alpha energy were exactly what Sadik represented. It was nice to watch Bilan round up all the side hoes since they weren't getting the hint. I believe this is my favorite Love Belvin novel because of the vulnerability, criminality, and love that we confronted with this couple. It was chaotic, but it served its purpose.

Bilan, you have the power!

Not Bilan being the glue that held the Ellis family together! In the first parts of this book series, I was annoyed with her a lot (I know she was going through it but dang girl stand up). Book 3 was all about her coming into her own. She was brave, loyal, and unapologetic. Loved her character development.

Sadik and Bilan!!!! What a Fantastic Story of Love Found and Love Believed!!!!

When you read a book by author Love Belvin, you better believe that all of your senses will be fired up, no stone will be left upturned and your heart will beat, break, scatter and finally be put back together.

In the final installment of the "Sadik" series we find Bilan and Sadik fighting to find equal footing, fighting for Sadik to take the lead and for Bilan to yield, fighting for Sadik to yield and for Bilan to take the lead. They are both trying to get a hand on the turmoil outside of the Ellis home and inside, the storms are raging and these two are standing together despite their own battles.

Sadik has now assumed the position of Head of the Ellis Empire, no it isn't a position that he every wanted. Sadik is his own man, with his own money, his own empire and most importantly his own family. Getting rapped up in his father's world is not an option for him, he wants no parts of it and Earl Ellis knows this but when Earl's health is severely compromised and his older brother Ibhan is down physically and battling for his life, that leaves Sadik to stepped in to take care of the Ellis's enemies without remorse, without compromise and to kill any and everyone who dares try to come for them.

Bilan is struggling and fighting to stay afloat, being married to Sadik is not easy being a mother isn't easy either but Bilan is fighting to do both with excellence. But Bilan has her own battles mentally and spiritually that she is trying to get a hold on, plus battling outside of the Ellis's as she determines to take her place next to Sadik while battling, commanding and demanding respect. For Sadik, Bilan is his Queen, for Bilan, Sadik is her King.

As we watch the cataclysmic ending to this superb trilogy, you will find yourself rooting, crying, stunned with disbelief, heartbroken and determined to come out on the other side of this in victory. Seeing or the mention of other characters from author Love Belvin's other books are always a great surprise. The biggest one was the appearance of Bishop Ezra and Lex (Love Unaccounted Series), they played an integral with Bilan and it was wonderful to see.

I have to say this is now up there in my top 3, it is a pretty powerful series and just when you think you have it all figured out, here comes another couple by the author that will leave you breathless.

Whenever I have finished reading a series by author Love Belvin, I have to take a break to get my mind and my heart right because I am left emotionally raw, so I need time to recalibrate before picking up a new book to start a story.

Well Until My Next Review...Ciao!

I really love how Love Belvin leaves you so satisfied with her final installment in a series. I really liked how we saw Bilan go through a metamorphosis. She did have this naive aura in the first two books but I appreciated how she used her smarts to get answers and actually check people that doubted her in the first two books. I loved those moments that Bilan became that lioness and pounced. I like how she put Irene in her place and got her to get out of her funk. When Bilan decked that chick that was jumping Rory with the buggy...it took me out! Plus when she really went in on Monica about her refusal to make a decision about Iban it was so necessary. I also loved how Bilan checked Irene & Earl's lovers and gave them an ultimatum. Honestly I felt like Bilan was a protector of the Ellis family unit in so many ways in this book. Her ride or die nature for family really showed when she had Iban's back and fought for him to not be ostracized by his own family. Sadik was truly a protector and it really showed when we got the full story about Iban's time in juvie. The Ellis' were a dysfunctional bunch but this book helped me to sympathize with them. At first I saw them as this intimidating family unit but that facade changed quickly in this installment. Their whole world seemed to crumble and if it wasn't for Bilan or Sadik I'm not sure if they would've been able to recover. I'm so glad Randi's true motives were revealed and that it was revealed to Iban. Plus Sadik was smart enough to record Randi's conversation with him. I love it when Ezra Carmichael makes appearances and he didn't disappoint in this book either. Bilan needed some form of therapy and I'm glad she got it for the sake of her children and just being able to cope with her own trauma. Now the whole being aroused after drama pops off took me for a loop but whatever nothing really surprises me with Bilan and Sadik. I like how Tasche continued to be a good friend and I'm glad someone from Bilan's past life was still trustworthy. Justin irked me and he got what he deserved. I didn't see the whole familial ties to Damien being his connection but it was a good way to keep him in the storyline. Plus his access to the database that Bilan used to research the Ellis' was genius in my opinion. I also liked how we got to see Sadik & Bilan balance motherhood & fatherhood. I also liked how they had friends or ran into other power couples that juggled parenthood too. I watched Love Belvin's Youtube video where she expressed her Pre-Publication thoughts and I really felt like listening to her thoughts about the book first and then actually reading the book helped me to appreciate the book even more! I always get so sad when I reach the epilogue in Love Belvin books because it means the ride is almost over! I really liked this series and I cannot wait to read her next series!

Worth the wait!!

When I fall in love with characters it is hard for me to let them go...Essentially I get greedy for more story lines, but I have to say I am pleased with the series and the way that it ended. I loved that Mrs. Bilan Ellis was a BOSS that pulled no punches. She stepped up for the family when no one else did. She loved her husband fiercely and put all of the jealous wanna be's in their place. It was beyond due for Tiffany to get in her lane and I was here for all of it. I ended up with a new found respect for Bilan. She still had issues, but she worked through them instead of running. The love she shared with Sadik was overwhelmingly powerful and more than I could even imagine. Their explosiveness jumped off the pages. Sadik continues to ooze sex appeal through the many facets this book highlighted. His confidence, loyalty, intelligence, and even vulnerability made me love him 10 times more.
The relationships that were exposed, nurtured, broken, and mended throughout this book represented life. The ebbs and flows that we experience as life changes. I loved every minute of this book. Well done Ms. Belvin!!

Simply Amazing

The third installment answered questions I had forgotten about. And this realization came to mind; if every man loved his woman to the degree Sadik loved Bilan, the world would be a stupendous place to live. That man would move mountains for his woman. And it was nice to see Bilan's growth in the story as it progressed. She became the real deal, and held down the Ellis's during the Queens state of despair. She fought for the family. Wow. And her angry reaction was dope. Nothing to joke about, as this was a struggle Sadik managed delightfully and with finess. Bilan and Sadik managed to love one another as their true selves with no pretenses. Having Bilan fight for her nemesis was purely amazing. Sadik was indeed Bilan's lover, friend, and her protector. The story was a true gem.

Love Bevlin can do so much better

I have read pretty much every series by this author and haven't been disappointed until this series. She is known for having really thoughtful and detailed stories that I fall in love with but this one missed the mark. A lot of the plot didn't flow well and the ending was unnecessary. Who would become CEO of 15 charter schools after being indicted for murder? Like that's very unrealistic. All and all I wouldn't suggest you read this series or get invested in the characters, you will end up disappointed and confused.

What a ride!

Only Love can make you find endearing qualities in a family that is less than legal. This book was the perfect way to end the series. One thing I will say, I know Sadik was the ultra-alpha male but Bilan was that chick! Everybody had to bow down!

Still Good!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Love Belvin is a terrific author, but sometimes her stories are sooo long. In a three book series maybe one book too long, IMHO. While this affords the reader a huge amount of character development and backstory after awhile it becomes tedious. I really enjoyed the plot twist at the end though.😁😁 Oh well..

Buy it, read it and enjoy. 👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥👍🏾🔥

Bilan is happy so I’m happy for her. Sometimes her naïveté was frustrating but that damn Ellis family was too much. Sadik was like a combination of ADJ and Ezra and baby that’s a whole lot to deal with. But Bilan’s crazy self made the best of the cards she was dealt and created her HEA.

Chileeeee ion neva want to be dis addicted to a man, but Bilan shole made me wonder! Lol Sis was wild! Most importantly, she's whole and healed. Having her stand on business was applause worthy. LB wrote this series and it was worth the wait each time. Mr. Ellis is now hooked and he knows exactly where home is now! 💯

This series finale has Sadik and Bilan included as one of my favorite couples as Sadik proved his love for Bilan. Surprises and unexpected instances kept this story flowing as the drama and action kept me reading. Enjoyed this well written story

Belan has my nerves all over the place... I love her Sasha Fierce persona that chic is bad ass!!!!!!!! Naive Belan had me ready to knock some sense Into her head... she was concerned with knowing too much and the. Couldn’t handle the truth!!!!! Ugh!!!! Glimpses of Ezra did my heart and mind good 😝 the character development in each book of the series has you in love with them and totally drawn into their world. The passion is FIRE!!!! Well written erotic scenes have you needing cold showers.

The finale of the "Sadik" series picked up just a few weeks after the last installment. And as if the cliffhanger hadn't placed me on life support, I was thrown for a loop as I held my breath to find out what is what...and WHO is who. Trust, you will have to read to grasp what I'm saying. Belvin not only infuses the Word and romance smoothly, but she has perfected the right balance of drama tinged with an air of mystery. She always pens details that act as savory breadcrumbs that lead readers to the 'meat' of the story. With such hearty scenes to digest, Belvin made sure add comic relief to balance out the heavy feeling brought on by the conflict in the plot (my laughter was just as prevalent as my gasps). She definitely knows how to dot her i's and cross her t's with final installments!

Lawd, these characters took me through! I stayed transfixed as the plot exploded in drama from the action-packed highs to the panty-wetting lows. The Bilan and Sadik you knew of book 1 and 2, you can kiss them goodbye! Their character development was beyond what I expected, especially Bilan! Listen, she a bad bish and my best fwenddd! Bilan surely can say whatever Sadik was dishing out, it did rub off on her! Hell, he did more than rub! This man catered to Bilan's every mental anguish as well as fantasy! I think he made my top 3 list of fav LB men, falling 3rd under Azmir with Isaak taking the lead! I kid you NOT, he was a true alpha in every way, shape and form! Their passion while facing dire situations had me on fire from the heart to the loins!

One thing I have to make mention of is Belvin's ability to not only take on the underworld, but explore themes of family and love. The subcharacters were plentiful, but not one time was I confused or irritated by their presence. She was able to use them as catalyst to propel the plot forward but keeping Sadik and Bilan as the main focus which I truly appreciated.

Additionally, the entire series was concluded in a way that answered every question I ever had without feeling rushed and confuddled. The pacing was just right from beginning to end with no fillers in sight. Every conflict was resolved and every hero...and heroine had their day!

I feel like buying a gun after this and shooting it in the air to express how I feel after this journey with Sadik and Bilan...lort I need my G card. I also need to see this in cinematic format: it just read like it was made for the big screen!

Bang, bang, Love...Kudos!

Was not feeling this even though I enjoyed the previous one. I may go back one day and try again but for this goes back on the shelf, unfinished.

Oct 2024

It’s annoying how much Bilan is fighting for the Ellises to be a unit. Especially the reason Sadik wants to stay away from Earl and Iban. And it was disgusting and disrespectful what her and Sadik did in Ms. Irene’s dining room.

Um Bilan more upset with Rory for using a nickname on a woman Sadik used to sleep with than she is with earl and Ibsen for trying to kill her and killing her brother. She’s pathetic. And I don’t condone women hitting on men. She should not have put hands on Sadik.

I know that Sadik won’t hurt Bilan but Julius is a punk to not only not intervene but provide a tie

Not Sadik saying Monica is outline with connecting with her old dude when his parents both had lovers that they had in the family home and even on family trips. Um seems to me she following the the playbook outlined by the elders.

I feel like Bilan is being judgmental of some of the people in the family while blowing off some of the extreme things others have done to her. I’m over it and over her. And sadik for that matter. I don’t care for either of them at this point.

Bilan always ready to fight some girl over Sadik while pregnant. So pathetic. But Randi ain’t shit and I’ve hated her forever.

Sadik is such a fool. He should have left when the Richard’s did instead of talking to his ex about his wife. I know shit about to pop off.

Bilan was obsessed with Iban severely shorten time in jail. It wasn’t her business and I wish Sadik never told her.

Of course Iban can have other women. And a baby on the outside but Monica can’t have male companionship in this cheating ass family.

Bilan hitting Tiffany was uncalled for and I bet they brush thst shit off. Nah I really can’t stand this chick and she’s the FMC

I’m sure many would love this book. This wasn’t enjoyable to me bc I had too much beef with the MC. And the things I disliked about the characters remained. I was sick of the hypocrisy and will chuck it up to this was just not for me. But overall I enjoy this author’s books so I’ll be reading more in my future.

Be still, my heart.

The third installment in the Sadik series has arrived and is everything a girl could hope for. In Love Belvin’s He Who Is A Protector, we reach the explosive finale of Sadik and Bilan’s love story.

There were a lot of unanswered questions in the second book and we don’t have to wait long for many of the answers as we dive into He Who Is A Protector.

Sadik and Bilan are both complicated individuals with lots of layers that need to be peeled back and deep pain that manifests for both in different ways. Sadik doesn’t just want Bilan’s heart, he needs her soul and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it and run over anyone who threatens his peace, even if it includes his own family. Bilan is loving Sadik the best she can but soon learns that she will need to be placed in uncomfortable situations and face some buried truths in order to get the relationship both crave.

In this novel, these two must face family turmoil and outside influences, new and old enemies and battle themselves as they fight for a happily ever after. Sadik may be the ultimate protector but he soon learns that to be his best self, he has to allow Bilan to protect him as well.

Bilan wasn’t always my favorite person throughout the series but I must admit I liked seeing her evolve throughout these three books. In the last entry, she becomes (at times reluctantly) more assertive and really comes into her own power. Sadik is BAE. He’s moved into my top 3 Love Belvin book baes and to be honest, that top three has been SOLID for a while. But whew! That Sadik! An ultimate alpha. He knows what he wants and he’s not afraid to secure it. He managed to be authoritative and cutthroat while still managing to be quite loving and gentle. Don’t get me wrong, he was selfish as hell when it came to his love of Bilan and protecting his love but I understood it.

I loved this story and highly recommend this series. It’s a story filled with sensual chemistry, an electric connection, drama, and strong familial ties. There’s a power struggle but by the end, you’ll know who really holds the keys.

Something is wrong truly wrong with this Author.

I’ve read every book by Love Belvin but after this one I think it’s time to retire.

I’m not sure what this Authors obsession is with sick in the mind controlling men, but towards the end of each book I always look at the main Female characters as naive/dumb and the main Male characters as sick, heartless, a**holes who don’t deserve a happily ever after.

I couldn’t even finish this book and stopped with 2 hours left to read because I’m just disgusted.

This Author has a sick way with using sex as manipulation and the way Sadik yelled at Bilan when he was in the wrong every single time was just too toxic.

The men always come off ass overly aggressive, controlling, heartless when they don’t get their way, and a bit abusive.

I couldn’t even find joy in reading the intimate moments when it came down to Sadik just taking Bilan whether she was mad at him or not it just came off as Rape and manipulative in order to confuse her or control her heart which is sad.

I feel like these stories are written based off the Authors sick fantasies of a love story and they all end the same way.

I wouldn’t recommend anybody read this series or any of the other ones unless you’re prepared to like the characters at first and then hate the whole entire story and characters once you reach the end.

In my case I didn’t even bother reaching the end of this story this time and decided to stop after Sadik and Bilan returned home from his meeting with Julius, Keisha, and Sofia to a war going on back home.

Good luck to all who wish to venture through her series of books! But I think Love Belvin books should be removed from Erotica/Romance and just placed in Action, Gang, Mystery, or Mafia categories.

Obsession, Dysfunction, Drama, and Evolution

Mary J Blige is one of my absolute favorite artists. Some of her songs/albums have gotten me through; she is apart of my life and story which is why I struggle when I am not feeling a certain song or album. It’s still the same Mary that I love and support even when I am not feeling her projects. I am no less a fan, loyalist to her brand, or ardent supporter even when I am not feeling an offering from her.

I feel the exact same about Love B. I will rock with her until the end but I did not care much for this series or the characters. There was so much obsessive/compulsive behavior mixed with drama and dysfunction that it dwarfed the magical evolution of Bilan into a fierce, fearless, independent woman. I also found Sadiq to be overbearing, controlling, and hypocritical not very endearing for s leading man no matter how fine he is.

The tender and redeeming aspects of the story were not enough to absorb the bleakness of the book. It was a little too much for me and a meaty book is wonderful but Love is talented enough to where I don’t purchase her books based upon the number of pages but for the quality. This story (for me) was not enjoyable enough for three books.

Finally, one reoccurring theme for LB’s book are jealous, backbiting, coveting friends and family members. It pains me that this is a constant backdrop for her heroines.

I wanted to Love it

I never consider Love's men alpha males. They always seem like the type that have to be loved through their mess. Like they need to grow up! Although Sadik wasn't as needy as Ragee or as stubborn as Ezra he still was the type that wasn't up for compromise. Why do all the women have to do the compromising all the time? Why must they be saved? Nevertheless I am a Love fan for life who one clicks without even reading the synopsis. That wont change. But this took forever to read.

Everyone know that Love Belvin is my FAVORITE author, so I won't sugar code anything. I could not connect with Sadik nor Bilan or their families. Sadik was doing to much and he is my least favorite alpha male. Bilan was too needy and petty for me, she made me appreciate Azmir wife.
I know others loved it but it wasn't for me.

The Sadik series was not as engaging as the other books by Love. I am a huge fan, but the story fell flat. I kept reading hoping it would get better. The sexual arousal after violence was strange.
