I'm a southern girl and hopeless romantic. I'm passionate about writing stories that incorporate southern charm. I grew up on a farm in a small town with a love of sports, dance, and music which will all show up somewhere in my books. When I'm not writing, my husband and I are attending a sporting event, travelling, or working.

Well we have finally arrived at the end of the Riverton Crossing series and Ben and Rachel's story did not disappoint me. It is very necessary to read this series in order because of the interconnected characters and timeline. Ben tragically lost his wife a decade ago the night of their wedding. During those years he met Rachel as the case was being prosecuted. They have had an unnamed relationship going on for 5 years because Ben has been unable to move forward with his feelings. Now Ben is the acting sheriff and Rachel is the assistant district attorney and it is time to get the closure to this mystery that Ben needs. Uncovered Secrets is about Ben finding getting closure and moving forward towards happiness instead of just getting through each day. Rachel was a fantastic character. She held great compassion for Ben but was also prepared to move along with her life if he wasn't able to join her. Uncovered Secrets is told from dual POV and you will see some of your favorite past characters in this story. It will make you laugh, cry, smile, yell and there's a lot of heat too!

I've been reading the Riverton Crossing series since the beginning, and to say I LOVE it is putting it lightly, so it's very bittersweet to know that Uncovered Secrets is the story that wraps it all up. Lawd knows that I'm going to really miss this series, and all the characters that seem like my real life friends, that's what an impact they made, or should I say what an impact the brilliant Savannah Maris made with her creation of them. Ben Stevens thought his world was complete when tragedy struck on what was supposed to be the happiest day of his life, and he was messed up for a very long time. Fast forward a decade, and he has a friends with benefits things going with Rachel, who has been understanding of the demons that haunt Ben, so she's stayed by his side, playing by his rules. Ben is taking over Cloverville County Sheriff with Sheriff Cahill retiring, and a new case has really forced his past & present to collide. It's put him on a path of learning more information from that horrible day 10 years past, but it's a mess of epic proportions. And I mean it's a big old bowl of twists that had the f-bombs dropping like crazy. Not only that, but it's also the spark that is leaving him with a big choice, because it's something that is putting his future with Rachel in danger, so he must decide to let the past go. So the big question is, will is he finally capable of doing that? The only way to answer that is to say you'll have to one click on this book to find out! Finally in conclusion, I have to thank the fabulous Ms. Maris for giving the Epilogues which were a big bonus, since I was sad that the series is over, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I can't believe it's over. I've been with these characters for so long that reading Uncovered Secrets was bittersweet. And twisted and emotional. The opening alone made my chest ache and I was very curious to see where things would go from there.

Rachel and Ben are the definition of friends-to-lovers. They got along so well, had for years. They understood each others quirks and hangups. Fears and demons. It was almost comical how much time they spent together for not being 'together'. Until in a bold move, Rachel tells Ben just what's on her mind, and heart.

The biggest change in this book was Ben. How he learned to let go of the pain of his past. And let in the possibility of a happy future. With Rachel. But with the danger swirling around their current case, they had be to extremely careful. Especially as the mystery started to unravel.

Holy unexpected plot twist. I didn't see that bombshell coming at all. Every question, every missing link was filled in. How it all tied back to how this book started just blew my mind. Uncovered Secrets was full of danger and romance and family and redemption and forgiveness. Savannah Maris left nothing on the table with this one. And while I'm sad to say goodbye to the Riverton Crossing gang, I'm looking forward to what she has in store next.

This is an awesome ending to a spectacular standalone series. So many of the characters and stories overlapped which made the characters become friends. I love these kinds of series. This time we get Ben's hea and it's one that is filled with suspense and conflict, all that the author promised and more. Ben and Rachael have been seeing each other behind closed doors, until the night it all changes. Threats and back door dealings come to light and all because of one man. When all of the dominoes begin to fall it's taking on a life of it's own with far reaching consequences. We also see the true passion unleashed between two that have had a third party placing them in a holding pattern. When the past is finally given it's due it's time to move on with the future. It's a great close to a wonderful series filled with action and twist and a few old friends who help all of the secrets that were long buried be uncovered.

This is the final instalment of Riverton Crossing. It was such an amazing read. It is hard to believe that this mystery has come to an end.

Ben has led a life with some major tragedies. he has found a way to make his his life comfortable for himself. But has never really allowed himself to love again. Giving himself to his job and getting the bad guys. But life does move on and new jobs come along. Ben has taken on a new one as the Sheriff so he can finally solve the mystery that is plaguing Riverton Crossing and the surrounding area.

Rachel is a long time friend of Ben’s meeting at a time in his life where grief was strong in his life. She keeps things the same so not to scare Ben away. But how long is too long? How long can she play second fiddle to a dead woman.

Read this story to find out how friends can move onto more, but also how this intriguing series comes to an end.

What a great conclusion to an explosive series. Tragedy stuck 10 years ago on his wedding day, but he still can't move on. Right at the beginning Rachel is leaving him because he can't move on. It makes him realize what he's got in front of him, but it might be too late. A new case comes to light and it intertwines quite closely with that day. The more Rachel and Ben dig into it, the more sinister it gets. What people will do to protect their families and their ambition. I loved the interaction with the guys and the secret that Sam had to disclose to Ben. They truly are a family. I enjoyed this series and will definitely re-read all the seven books.

I received this advanced reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.

Well, I’m kinda sad to see this series end. *sigh*
I highly recommend reading this series in order. I’m not sure if you can fully get into this one if you don’t go in order. Yes, this one is a different couple, but it is still the same story line. I really think you will be lost. Trust me on this.

I really enjoyed Ben and Rachel. BUT, this one was not my favorite. Maybe because this one had everything being wrapped up. I’m not sure. I wanted more love between these two characters. Instead, this story was mostly concerned with working the case.
That ending though... I loved it! It was perfect!

Overall, I recommend this one! After you read the whole series though.

P.S. Sam from book 6 is my absolute favorite from this series and he shows up many times in this one. :)

This is the last book in this series and I'm sad it's over. This is Ben and Rachel's story. Ben steps up and takes over as Sheriff Cahill retires and Rachel is a DA. These two have been secretly been friends with benefits for years. While trying to help Sam and Carrie with their situation Ben remembers a key information to who really is responsible for the death of his wife. So in this story we get to the bottom of all the corruption in this town, more secrets are revealed, more shady people brought down and we see Ben and Rachel's romance progress. At the end you get two epilogue and one is Evan and Ginger introducing their baby into the world. I'm going to miss these Alpha protectors and their women.

I’ve been so excited for Ben and Rachel’s story but I’m so sad it’s the end of this series. This book wraps up all the mysteries and questions we have had throughout the Erie’s and I feel like it did so very nicely. I loved the story of Ben and all he’s been through but he is finally letting go of the past to see a future with the one that has been with him for a while now. I don’t want to spoil any of the story but I will say I loved Ben a lot and I hate to see this is the end, because I feel like we have been through so much with the gang from Riverton Crossing and we are saying bye to friends.

I absolutely love this series and love how Ben and Rachel brought it all to an end. It is recommended to read the whole series so you can get the back story behind each character (and you will need that back story). That being said, hold on tight because Uncovered Secrets will take you for a ride! The twists and turns had be turning pages as fast as I could. I love that Rachel helps Ben heal after the death of his wife and it's the perfect love story. But what is a love story without a little drama?! So many bombshells dropped in this story and I love love love it! Can't wait to see what Savannah has for us next!

This is the last book in the series and it was a great way to end the series. Over the series we learn about different couples and the way each are connected.

Ben and Rachel are the last couple. Ben has a past that has been painfully and Rachel has been beside him for the long haul. Ben’s past has kept him from loving the one true friend he has. Rachel has loved Ben for a long time and it took her walking away for him to realize what he had right in from of him.

Many secrets will finally be answered and will blow you away.

This book blew my mind. I had no idea there were so many secrets left to be unveiled. Ben is a great character and has been feeling guilty for way too long. I loved how we found out all the things left unsaid and could not be more happy for this ending. This has been a great series and I felt close to all the characters, it was a great book to get to know the real, Ben! Amazing job for our author.

This was bittersweet sweet since it's the last one in the series but it could of not ended better. From the very first chapter this book has me hooked. There are definitely twist I did not see coming. Rachel and Ben are 2 characters who are easy to fall in love with. I recommend reading the other books in the series first if you have not.
