Finally in this book there seems to be some "progression" to the story of both kids, and perhaps hinting and further development of the father himself. Kinda find it surprising that this story isn't well known, though it's possibly due to target demographics --- kids/middle school range (inferred from the presence of furigana beside certain words).

Overall, still a recommended manga.
