The Sword of Saint Michael
A psychotic modern-day shaman caught in a zombie apocalypse without her meds.
Scientific studies of Jocelyn Radomski, immune to the pathogen, may lead to a cure. But first she must find a military safe zone in a world of countless zombies and few survivors.
Fortunately she possesses shamanic and zombie-like powers. And a tenth-century magic sword forged to fight zombies.
But without her meds, no one is safe from her violent psychotic breaks. Especially the eclectic band of survivors pledged to her cause.
Overwhelmed with guilt at what she has become, Jocelyn is driven by the hope she can affect a cure.
There’s simply nothing else to live for.
This unique and fantastical apocalyptic novel will keep you up at night as it takes you on a wild ride throughout a quest for redemption.
If you like The Stand and Swan Song, try The Sword of Saint Michael.

I feel I should preface this review with the fact that I am not a fan of the zombie genre. I did watch The Walking Dead, for a while. I tolerated Zombieland, and recently Double Tap, for the comedy. World War Z totally freaked me out. The Sword of Saint Michael has unique elements, however, that kept me interested, even when the story veered too close to our current reality. In all fiction that I consume, I seek the glimmer of hope, no matter how buried, to sustain me through whatever hopelessness presents itself. When I finished reading The Sword of Saint Michael, I wanted the story to continue so I could follow the glimmer of hope. The story is as intricate as it is intense, striking the right balance for those readers like me who are not fans of the zombie genre. I look forward to reading more of the Zombie Apocalypse series.

READ THIS BOOK!
I came across this book by pure chance. It has a bit of everything and enough of a difference when it comes to the zombie apocalypse genre with its special heroine! It’s even got a cat. As a cat owner (have 3) also I was thrilled.
I don’t want to give anything away but give this book a chance - it’s got drama, edge of your seat action, intrigue and even a small amount of romance.
Now, I’m off to find book 2!

Enjoyed the book very much and I liked the ending. Left me guessing. Can't wait to read more. Get busy writing before everyone gets back to the new norm and you will not have the time like you do now. HA! Ha! Great writing.
