Great Story

I really enjoyed this installment of the Carpenter/ Harding series. It’s very well written and the newest mystery is well thought out. It was a little bittersweet but I’m not going to give any hints about what. I really like Jordan and Ellie, and have enjoyed how their relationship continues throughout the series and isn’t condensed into just one book. I really recommend the series and would recommend it to others, but I would suggest starting at book 1.

I am loving this series. The MC Ellie and Jordan drew me in and I keep cheering for them. The other characters are well drawn and keep you interested. I particularly like Jordan's ex who keeps popping in with psychological insights. The backdrop of police cases is suspenseful and alternately happy and sad for the outcomes. You can rejoice and despair for humankind all in one book. All in all, can't wait to read more volumes.

Wrapping up on cases

This book gives continuations & conclusions with the impending trial for the cult case & of course Darby still the darkness lurking just off in the distant—but never quite far enough as preferred him to be—background. Looking forward to what cases, criminals, challenges, craziness & changes come Ellie & Jordan's way next.

The Serial Killers End Game

Life continues for Jordan and Ellie. The trial for the cult is nearing and Jonathan Darby is getting closer to death. Jordan and Ellie are house hunting and planning their future. Too bad Darby’s fans aren’t done with Jordan. A remarkable crime team searching for justice. Great series.

Nice

This is my first review for all six books. The stories are enjoyable . I loved Ellie and Jordan. I found it hard to follow what character was talking at times. Also, there are quite a few typos. The stories are great.

Good stuff, not as crazy as the previous which is good. We all needed a break hahaha. I really like how Barbara writes the investigations in her books, you gotta love a puzzle.

The aftermath of book 5 still takes place here and well the couple took a blow, though but it's for the best eh?

Jordan is a better person than I'd be regarding her mum. She's willing to try. Good for her, but the woman is unnerving!
