I found this to be too derivative of other Loop-like stories/movies (Groundhog Day, Palm Springs), but without any kind of payoff for the looping. Maybe it is a comment on post-retirement life monotony. But while the storytelling/writing itself worked for me, the "loop" part of the story felt random and pointless to me. Oh well.
