This was a daily devotional read, some I enjoyed better than others.

This book was not what I expected. Every devotional has a page to write on, which I prefer to do in my own journal. Therefore it's half a long as it looks. Still, it took me more than a year to get through because I wasn't inspired to read it.
Once I finished my other "bathroom reader" and replaced it with this, I got through it more quickly. Some messages hit home while others didn't say much to me at all.
It's not as deep as I'd like for a devotional, which I'm finding is the case more and more these days. It might be time to return to some of the Classics (Oswald Chambers perhaps?).
