Alex and the Fey Team return in the eighth volume of the Alex and the Fey thrillers. The story line is closely held by the author until closer to the time of publication. Suffice it to say, Alex and the Fey Team will be going in deep.

Whew, I was worried about Alex in this story. It seems she’s back to her old self until she’s almost killed searching out Tamu Massif 300 meters below sea. There are all kinds of twists and turns in this story that might both amaze and surprise you. When part of the team goes off to run an “intelligence poker” game I knew something big was coming. Racing heart aside, this is one of the fastest in the story line, in my honest opinion. It was non-stop action from beginning to end.

This series gets better with every new book that comes out. The amount of detail and research that must have gone into writing this is staggering. Claudio Hall Christian is fast becoming one of my favourite authors. Alex and the gang are the characters that each and every one of us dream to become when we were younger. If you're into adventure, intrigue, hard-ass heroines and ever loyal friends, than the Alex the Fey series is the one for you.

Alex and Max's childhood training is further illuminated. Some of it was shown at the end of the fourth book, but it's out in the open in this book. It makes a the skill level that they use in some hostage rescues make sense. The training, plus that they are twins, makes them a great weapon.

The dive bell experience reminded me of when she went to school to be a Green Beret in that some of them were real jerks but she helped them anyway.

Another Kelly sibling turns up and that's very surprising. We already know how many of them there are so this kind of event does happen periodically. There is an unexpected resolution; I feel bad for Niamh but I am sure it will be okay.

The watch intrigues me and there is more info - can't wait to find out more!

I've read these books many times (only twice so far with In Deep). The best part of all of them is just how real the characters seem! They are like friends I would have chosen for myself!

One of my favorite series - always a great read

I judge fiction by how believable the characters are and how vivid their world is.

This series never disappoints in delivering topical issues intertwined with people you crave to have drinks with. No matter what paranormal element is introduced into the story, I BELEIVE IT because the characters and world is so vivid.

If you like strong, independent heroines, he is who try to do the best they can to survive every day life and world changing problems - you need to read the Fey series.

Exciting adventures continue in this volume. Each new book feels like a family reunion . Sitting with family and friends and catching up . Happiness, excitement and maybe a few tears here and there . But there is always love! I am never disappointed by Alex and her extended family .

Another page Turner from Claudia

Alex (the fey) comes to the rescue once again. In doing so learns things about herself she didn't know. Couldn't put it down as per usual. Might read it again must because I can.

Another great Fey treat

No surprise, Claudia grabs you with the first sentence and doesn’t let go until you read “the end.”

The regulars are all back, some twists and surprises and of course loose ends left to make us all want more. What else could you ask for?
