After I finished TOUCHING SIN I was 𝓭𝔂𝓲𝓷𝓰 to get my hands on Maddox's book. 👐 I fell in l♥o♥v♥e with his character in that book. 💕 Who wouldn't 🅕🅐🅛🅛 🅘🅝 🅛🅞🅥🅔 with a 6´6 former military sweetie? 🙈 And I finally got my wish when I was ᎶᎥfᏆᎬᎠ an ARC for CATCHING SIN. 🙌 Was it worth the wait? 🅷🅴🅻🅻 🆈🅴🆂! 🙌 As much as I loved book one, I think I ⓛⓞⓥⓔⓓ this one even more! 👏
I can't think of a 🆂🅸🅽🅶🅻🅴 issue I had with this book, and 𝓱𝓸𝓷𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓵𝔂? I am a РĨČĶŶ βĨŤČĤ most of the time. 😂 The writing was 🄵🄰🄽🅃🄰🅂🅃🄸🄲. 👍 It was well ₱₳₵ɆĐ. 👍 The plot was all kinds of 🅔🅝🅖🅐🅖🅘🅝🅖. 👀 Usually with a book of this 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 I find parts of the story can 𝕕𝕣𝕒𝕘. 🐌 However, that wasn't the case here. 👍 Both 🅜🅐🅓🅓🅞🅧 and 🅸🆂🅰🅱🅴🅻 had a fantastic ĆĦ€ΜƗŞŦŘ¥ that kept the plot 𝕞𝕠𝕧𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕝𝕠𝕟𝕘 nicely. 🔥 Hell, I even found Ⓐⓝⓣⓗⓞⓝⓨ intriguing and SO very much wanted him to be 𝓻𝓮𝓭𝓮𝓮𝓶𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮. 😪 What can I say? I love a good 🅑🅐🅓 🅑🅞🅨...sigh. 😳
As with the ƒɨя$ţ β๏๏Ќ, this one was quite a 🆂🅻🅾🆆 🅱🆄🆁🅽. 🐌 🔥 Not a favorite 𝓽𝓻𝓸𝓹𝓮 of mine, but as a mentioned this couple had a 𝖋𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖆𝖘𝖙𝖎𝖈 on page ĆĦ€ΜƗŞŦŘ¥ and that made the 🆂🅻🅾🆆 🅱🆄🆁🅽 nature of the story barrable. 🙈 Of course, when we do finally get to the 🅢🅔🅧 it was suitably smokin'. 🔥 There was a 🅃🄸🄽🅈 smidgen of 🅞🅦 drama and some 🅞🅜 drama in the form of the bɐdd!ǝ. 💣 There was a nice cast of ѕє¢σи∂αяу characters. 👤👤👤 𝕁𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝔽𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕒 (from book one) 👫, and 𝓖𝓪𝓿𝓲𝓷 (also from book one) whose story looks to be next in the series. 👦
Both 🅜🅐🅓🅓🅞🅧 and 🅸🆂🅰🅱🅴🅻 were very likable characters. 💯 🅸🆂🅰🅱🅴🅻 was 19 and a 𝖛𝖎𝖗𝖌𝖎𝖓 (groan) 😔 <-- but ok, it made sense in this story. So I won't ₵Ø₥₱Ⱡ₳ł₦ too much. 😃 I loved 🅸🆂🅰🅱🅴🅻 and found her to be a strong, feisty, and s♥w♥e♥e♥t heroine. 👩 🅜🅐🅓🅓🅞🅧 was 29 and didn't appear to be a мαиωнσяє. 👍 He was s♥w♥e♥e♥t, and protective. 💕
Last, it was all 🆆🆁🅰🅿🅿🅴🅳 🆄🅿 in a nice "3 𝔂𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓼 𝓵𝓪𝓽𝓮𝓻" epilogue. ⏰ I am sure we'll see more of this 🅒🅞🅤🅟🅛🅔 in future books. 🔜 So yea, this was 🅳🅴🅵🅸🅽🅸🆃🅴🅻🆈 worth the wait and I can't wait to get my hands on the Ň€ЖŦ βØØҜ. 👍👍

Since starting to read J. Saman's books, I have noticed that when beginning a new story penned by her, I better be ready to buckle up because it is sure to be a bumpy, winding, mysterious jaunt into a new fictional world. Since meeting Maddox in Touching Sin, the first book in the Las Vegas Sin series, I have been intrigued by this seductive, protective hero and couldn't wait to delve deeper into his psyche to see what would make him tick, or should I say who. It wasn't long and J. Saman drug me heart first into this world that is full of uncontainable desire and more questions than answers. I love a story that feels like you are walking in the dark and can only see a few feet ahead of you until right before you fall off the cliff and J. Saman has mastered that technique tenfold. I enjoyed every suspenseful moment of Maddox and Isabel's cat and mouse game and couldn't wait to see their hearts and the sheets twisted together.
Maddox is a nut that I couldn't wait to crack and see what was on the inside. J. Saman purposefully left all her readers wondering about all the sexiness and benevolence this guy exuded in Touching Sin and the curiosity had me beside myself when I began reading Catching Sin. Soon Maddox had my heart pounding and me wrapped around his finger and singing his praises. If I thought he was sexy in Touching Sin, nothing could have prepared me for the up close and personal Maddox that J. Saman shows her readers this time around. He had me melting in a puddle and ready for Isabel to give up the fight and be his...because I surely am!
Isabel kept my emotions awry from the moment she was introduced. She was like a chameleon. One minute she was a wounded bird, a rebellious spitfire, and a woman so filled with passion that she was blinding to every male around her. She is a heroine that can hold her own and will never let someone keep her down. She is fierce, protective over her family, and will stop at nothing to be her own woman. She had me falling at her feet right along side Maddox and I couldn't help cheer her on no matter how much danger she placed herself in.
J. Saman delivers a spellbinding, suspenseful, heart pounding read that is sure to check all of boxes for a must read romance. I highly recommend Catching Sin for a love story that will keep you mentally on your toes, heated, and falling head over heels in love with J. Saman's newest fictional couple full of passion and intrigue. The Story is a dual POV, Maddox and Isabel.
Isabel has been trapped by the devil for a very long time, her freedom is tied, and she has almost no say in her life or future.
With a very twisted events, Isabel end up working for Maddox sinclair, The hotest hottie in vegas, and the most badass one too.
But does the danger vanish that easily? i don’t think so
The story is based in vegas, the land of all excitement and bad-ass-ness!
So yeah The genre is romance, definetly romance, but the suspense part, bad-guys, gang/Mafia kinda thing, WASS JUSTTTT THE WHOLE DEAL!
And it made reading a romance a whole lot better, than a cliche one!
cause Dangerous Romance is a thing and it’s MY THING!
Isabel Our main girl is just my favourite thing ever.
You know, when you read a book, and you admire the heroine because she’s just the perfect version that you wanna reach, she’s everything you want to be, so you just look up to her.
This didn’t happen in this book, Isabel is not who i want to me, she is ME!
She was Humane, imperfect, just like me, just like you.
I loved reading her parts and her feelings.

Isabel has been surviving her life all for one person and she must continue to be strong and deal with the consequences because if not her beloved will pay those consequences instead.
Maddox is trying to move on after helping his best friend and now wife survive from an ordeal he only wishes on his worst enemy. After dealing with the devil he realizes everyone must be kept under a close eye, even the beautiful Isabel he just met and knows for sure she will be his weakness and the death of him.
Someone is cashing in their favor with Maddox, he’s a smart man and he knows this move means a lot more than what the mob boss Conti is letting on.
Through it all, he will make sure one thing only, and that’s the safety and protection of Isabel even if it means his life.
You will enjoy the banter between the feisty Isabel and handsome Maddox.
Can be read as standalone but I highly recommend reading Touching Sin where you initially meet Maddox but also get to know his best friend Jake and the lovely Mia!

Whew, what can I say? Catching Sin is a wild ride. I knew I'd like Maddox from the first book of the series. He's hot, masculine, and super sexy. He also has a sweet side, and he's a protector through and through. *swoon*
Of course, when he first clocks Isabel, performing the sexiest of dances at a club on the Las Vegas strip, he's a goner. But she's practically owned by a mean a**ed gangster and has to play ball if she's to get what she wants. The tension!
This is tender and so steamy, and the pace is excellent. I tore through this in no time and loved every minute. I thoroughly recommend picking up this then go ahead and buy J. Saman's entire back catalogue, and get ready to glom.

This book is even better than the first. I loved Jake and Fiona but Maddox and Is are even better. Not sure how that is even possible but holy hell. Is, is a little fireball and Maddox didn't stand a chance against her. Their chemistry was off the charts.
This author has an impeccable writing style. Her cadence, tone, and word choices are exemplary. She knows how to balance suspense, romance, and mystery while throwing in just the right amount of steam that enhances the story.
I highly recommend this series and author. One of my favorite authors that I discovered late last year.

Catching Sin is an action packed drama that combines strong characters and story to create a five plus star read.
Catching Sin has a strong storyline that kept me interested. It is gritty and fast moving without being unnecessarily violent or gory. There are violent parts, yet they are very well written and fit the tone of the book. The Vegas setting is perfect, however, it is more of a look at behind the glitz and glamour of Sin City.
I have loved Maddox since he featured strongly in Touching Sin as the best friend of Jake. I was drawn to his smarts, sexiness and strength from the beginning. He is the perfect leading man for me, tough on the outside and a sweetheart to those who matter to him. I have waited to see what kind of woman would capture his heart, and I wasn't disappointed that it was Isabel. Although young, Isabel has been functioning as an adult for many years. She has been caring for her brother, often to her own detriment, since before her mother's death four years ago. Still a teenager, she is caught up with the Vegas underworld and has to fight to keep herself and her brother alive.
What I loved most about Catching Sin was the build of Maddox and Isabel's relationship. The trust that must be earnt that goes beyond initial attraction.
This novel is the second book in the Las Vegas Sin series by J. Saman. It is best to read book one first, but not necessary. I hope there is a book three in the works, even though I have just finished Catching Sin, I can't wait to get back into this series.

There are violent parts, yet they are very well written and fit the tone of the book. The Vegas setting is perfect, however, it is more of a look at behind the glitz and glamour of Sin City.
I have loved Maddox since he featured strongly in Touching Sin as the best friend of Jake. I was drawn to his smarts, sexiness and strength from the beginning. He is the perfect leading man for me, tough on the outside and a sweetheart to those who matter to him. I have waited to see what kind of woman would capture his heart, and I wasn't disappointed that it was Isabel. Although young, Isabel has been functioning as an adult for many years. She has been caring for her brother, often to her own detriment, since before her mother's death four years ago. Still a teenager, she is caught up with the Vegas underworld and has to fight to keep herself and her brother alive.
What I loved most about Catching Sin was the build of Maddox and Isabel's relationship. The trust that must be earnt that goes beyond initial attraction.
This novel is the second book in the Las Vegas Sin series by J. Saman. It is best to read book one first, but not necessary. I hope there is a book three in the works, even though I have just finished Catching Sin, I can't wait to get back into this series.

J. Saman is new to me, and I am now a fan. I seriously enjoyed reading Catching Sin. Maddox is a smoldering hot guy who falls for the one girl he should never be with. Don't these guys ever learn? This girl, Isabel, is intoxicating with her beauty, but she is completely off limits because she's already tied/trapped with a notoriously bad guy. Aren't they always? Through a series of seemingly random events, Maddox and Isabel are face to face and wanting what they can't have. From here, it's a slow burn. They are in each other's lives due to circumstances beyond their control. The heat continues to build, and neither can deny the attraction. I won't spoil anything, so I'll just say Maddox and Isabel each have some kind of trouble that could destroy them. It's an exciting journey through the back stage area of Las Vegas. I liked the sarcastic humor and the dialogue between all of the characters. Maddox is tough and chiseled and not the kind of guy who gives up easily. He carries a lot of guilt about his past and needs some kind of redemption. Isabel is young and gorgeous and in over her head which spells disaster for any man who cares about her. She needs protection, even though she's tough enough in her opinion. Everything is at stake for her.
Such an entertaining and spicy hot read! It's a twisted chaotic mess, but if these two play their cards right, they just might save each other.

Complicated and compelling
Not your everyday romance novel, Catching Sin tells the story of two people who meet under unusual circumstances and fight their attraction until it becomes undeniable. When Maddox walks into a strip club to conduct some business, he has no intention of watching the strippers at work, but he finds himself mesmerized by the beautiful woman on stage - and not just because of her body. Isabel has found herself in a bad situation, under the watchful eye of a villain and working at a strip club. Maddox and Isabel have a series of run-ins until Isabel finds herself working as his assistant, and she realizes that this man finds her worthy of more than her current situation. They fight their attraction until it can no longer be ignored, but there are still obstacles in their path to happiness.
This is an intriguing and complex love story. Isabel hasn’t known much happiness in her life, but Maddox treats her with respect and reverence, making her feel desired in an entirely new way. I loved that he is sort of a giant teddy bear, and he has a great heart. It’s a story that could’ve easily gone off the rails if not done right, but J. Saman’s writing was excellent. Maddox has a military background and is head of security for the Turner conglomerate and has seen both the glitz and danger that Las Vegas holds. When circumstances cause their lives to intersect, they never expected the fallout that would occur because of that.
Secrets, suspense and steam all combine into a compelling storyline that has us hoping that these two characters will emerge not only alive but together as well.

Being back in the Las Vegas Sin world was even more action packed and I loved it! I was sucked into this world from the very first page. J. Saman knows how to capture you in the world she has created. We meet Maddox in book one of the Las Vegas Sin world, Touching Sin. I was always curious and wanting more of him. And boy did we get it in this book. Mafia and Vegas one of my favorite mixes. Absolutely a must read!!

I enjoyed the second book in the Las Vegas Sin Series. Maddox and Isabel took me on an emotional roller coaster. This book was well-written with strong characters and an entertaining storyline. Plenty of twists and lots of drama. Chemistry that's off the charts and plenty of steam. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.

After reading Touching Sin, I was so excited to finally read Maddox’s story. This one didn’t disappoint! I loved Isabel, and the mystery about her life left me turning pages. Isabel and Maddox had such wonderful chemistry. This is definitely one of my favorite of her books. J Saman just keeps getting better and better!

We meet Maddox Sinclair in "Touching Sin". He is the hunk who sets up Jake and Mia. In "Catching Sin", he is the no non-sense hero. Max rescues Isabel, a young twenty something girl from under the thumb of a ruthless mob boss Athony Conti. Said boss killed her junkie mother and put her and her 15 year old brother under his care. His plan is to marry Emma when she turns 21. This was an exciting story line that keeps the adrenaline flowing.

This is my first time reading a book written by J. Saman. Talk about blowing me away. I love my stories dark and gritty and this one delivers. Its a page turner that is super hot, so much so you might think your kindle is going to melt. This is the story of Isabel who has a younger brother and she is willing to do anything to keep him safe. This has cost her ultimately her freedom. She is mixed up with a powerufl mob boss who is able to provide her everything that she needs but the catch is, she has to belong to him and be his little toy in his twisted, messed up plans for his power and to keep it that way. Maddox is a powerful man to in his own ways and he is no stronger to the messed up games of the mob. However when he lays his eyes on Isabel he knows that he is not match of her wicked wilds. This is where the games really get going. Hearts are on the lines as well as other peoples lives. This is where all the voilence and evil in this world are about to meet the forces of good....well as good as they can be. Isabel and Maddox have a lust filled, lies told, schemes made. story to tell. I could not put this book down. I loved every single second of it and I am now so hooked on J. Saman's writing style and they way I was sucked into this story. I so am going to go back and read the first book in this series. Having not read it though did not affect the way this book read.I was not lost or feeling like I was missing something. This is a edge of your seat thrill ride. Maddox Sinclair is a man that commands attention. Isabel “Star” Bogart shows that some women do what they have to in order to survive. She seems to be hiding something from the reader. That was part of my reason to continually turn the page. I wanted to see if she ever revealed anything to us. With Maddox, I found that in order to really get to know him I probably should have started from book one.
The author makes her story seem real just by the way Isabel acts once Maddox seems to be her knight. But it was how Isabel got to where she is that really grabbed my attention. It was nice to see a connection between them slowly develop – no way you can’t miss the spark that ignites between them. There’s a question that comes up about what is being put in motion here and is Isabel the spark to start the flame.
This book shows that you cannot start a story with assumptions. You can’t assume that just because a storyline is based in a certain town that people are going to act in a certain way. You really need to pay attention to how they behave and what they divulge about themselves. Then we have a guy that will have you wondering if he’s a puppet master pulling our character’s strings. If not a puppet master maybe a conductor and the characters are instruments playing to his tune. He’s another reason that you have to keep reading – to find out his purpose. I was glad that the author wrote a note and placed it at the end because it may have given me expectations instead of me getting to know Maddox and Isabel from the beginning. In a way I’m glad that I didn’t read the first book because our main characters are the reason that I’m now hooked on the Las Vegas Sin series.

Sooooo my TBR list is big...like really big. I could read two books a day for about 3 years big. Now I will be adding to that list ~ the top of it. Catching Sin by J. Saman is the second book in Las Vegas Sin series and while you don't have to read book 1 to thoroughly enjoy book 2 there was enough about it that now I HAVE to read it.
Maddox Sinclair is the COO of Turner Hotel and Casino. He is a steady, loyal guy who takes care of business but has no interest in commitment beyond a one night stand. That is until he chances a glance at a seductress on a stage then is called in to honor a debt and make her his employee. This strange request is one he cannot refuse and so Isabel enters his life. Isabel's life is one of a cage, kept in place by threats and violence. Then comes Maddox and a chance at a different life except her old one doesn't want to let go.
J. Saman gives readers a story chock full of intrigue and action, from deadly secrets to power plays to blackmail. The pages will fly by as you try and figure out what the ultimate dirty deed will be and how Maddox and Isabel will survive. The characters, from the leads to the supporting, are well fleshed out and interesting. Maddox and Isabel dance around each other in extended, sexy foreplay as they get to know and trust each other.

Catching Sin---Oh My Word!!!!!
Where to begin?
First, like the last book (Touching Sin), there is physical abuse...so if that's a trigger, you may want to avoid this one.
Second, as much as I so totally loved Jake in Touching Sin, I so totally, thoroughly, absolutely LOVE Maddox Sinclair!!! Since he's "a Georgia boy," I read this with a southern accent in mind. Maddox is selfless, he's loyal... he's loving and gentle... he's fiercely protective. He's absolutely awesome!
Isabel is a little like Fiona from Touching Sin...she is a victim of abuse, but at the hands of a Las Vegas mobster. But Izzy will do anything to insure that her younger brother, Justin, is not only safe, but gets to live a better life. I really like Isabel until she gets upset with Maddox over something that was beyond his control. Other than that, I love her spirit! I love the bickering and the back and forth between her and Maddox. That may make what they have even hotter!
This story is full of action and excitement. There are twists and turns and hold-your-breath moments...all laced with humor and some super hot scenes. This one is a must read!
