There were many aspects of this book that I loved. First of all, I loved that the pictures were real photographs with labels instead of illustrations. Secondly, love that the book is divided into sections with a table of contents. This book would be a great way to introduce “research” to children. Lastly, I love the glossary and index included at the end of the book. Even though this is a children’s book, it includes aspects of books that children will need to be familiar with as they get older.

Unique feature: The pictures in this book are real dragonflies. When it talks about the wings of a dragonfly, the author shows a close up on the dragonfly's wings. My students really enjoyed the pictures.
